I live in an area with a big Muslim community. There are always balloons and marquees in gardens for birthday and wedding parties. Some of my daughter’s school friends had really fancy birthday parties with lots of family and friends there . I haven’t heard that it’s haram to celebrate your birthday. I’m in the UK and maybe in the ME it’s different though.
