- Nothing like some Arizona archery mule deer hunting!
This video takes place in December 2022. I met up with my good friends Trent @RogueOutdoorsmen Mark @Socal_huntfish and Trev @jt_hunting down in Arizona to do some archery mule deer hunting! We have done a couple trips before with some awesome encounters, and this one would be no different!
First day started kind of slow with just a few Coues and mule deer does, along with a small Coues buck. But on day two everything started to pick up. After Mark and Trev have a failed stalk on a cool 140's class mule deer buck, Trent, Jared and myself found ourselves looking at two different bucks making their way through the vegetation. Jared was the quicker one out of him and I and had his bow in hand, ready to roll! So I opted to pick up the camera and film! You'll have to watch the video to see what went down! Such a fun hunt!

I’ve never seen ‘botfly larvae’ in a deers throat. Obviously it’s edible, otherwise you wouldn’t have packed out the meat.
Will you explain what the heck that was??? It just looked like maggots living in its throat.
That was a first for me too! I guess those guys had seen them in their ears and nasal cavity but never in their throat like that. I honestly can’t give you a great explanation… I’m not too familiar with that ever happening!
What was the name of the indian dwellings? Can you get there with a truck or do you need a ranger/quad?
Was there more dwellings near by?
