I can't imagine anybody wore pants as tight as the undercover cop back then! they used to make pants in only a few sizes & you cinched them way up with a belt! still did that in the early 1900,s. But they look good.
I was so hooked on The Guns Of Will Sonnett that I watched them all in a hurry. Now here I go with these. Thanx.
This was actually the pilot episode, shot, in 1951, for this series, which remained unsold, for a couple, of years, before going, into series production. Tom Tyler had starred, in the great, Captain Marvel serial, 10 years previously, and Louise Currie, also in this episode, had been his leading lady, in that serial. Douglas Kennedy had started acting, in films, in 1940, as Keith Douglas, but changed his screen name, after returning, to Hollywood, after his WW2 service.
it's listed as episode 17 on primewire but whatever you say ol
A very traditional, straightforward western this time. Nothing great about it. But worth the watch. 👍
Nice. It was great to see Tom Tyler again. He had a good voice they should have gave him narrator work.
"Douglas Kennedy had a long career in both films and television shows
and towards the end of his career he had a recurring role on the Big Valley
playing the town sheriff."-🤠🐴🍺☕🖥🌐..
This series episode of “Western Marshall” with Douglas Kennedy was interesting to watch. As a kid I loved it TV westerns but don’t recall this one. Douglas Kennedy was in numerous westerns, including “The Lone Ranger”. He died in 1973 in Hawaii from cancer at 57 and is buried there. His last performances were in “Hawaii Five-O” starring Jack Lord. He was a versatile all around character actor who could play a good guy or villain with equal ease. Thanks for posting this series.
Thanks for watching
BoY Some Good Old Westerns R Poping UP!🤠🐃🐃🐃🐃🤠😨🤤🤗🍃🍂😉
GREAT MOVIE MR. TERRY.
I like the Western Marshalls. I don't remember the show. Send more episodes. Thank you
Always saw steve donovan as a bad guy, good to see him as a good guy.
This was really good.
From what I've read, this was Tom Tyler's final roll. He had developed severe rheumatoid arthritis which severely limited his movements. This episode "The Comanche Kid" was filmed in the early 50's. Tyler has a small supporting role in this western which starred Douglas Kennedy. Tom Tyler has starred in a Columbia Serial in 1943 called "The Phantom" It was about then that his medical problems began. He died in 1954 at the home of his sister in Hamtramck, near Detroit. He was practically destitute and unable to work. I used to watch many of the TV westerns as a kid but do not recall this one.
Thank you for the info. And thanks for watching.
@Mary H Yes, I had read that about him as well. For the last year of his rather short life he lived with his sister in Hamtramck, Michigan a suburb of Detroit known for its large Polish population. He is buried in a Detroit cemetery.
Good. Would like to see the other 38 episodes .Thanks for another Forsaken westens.
Thank you for the upload
thanks for posting
This is the 2nd episode of the Western Marshal series with Steve Donovan that I have watched. I have also watched a handful of the other shows too. But for some reason, this particular episode reminded me very much of The Lone Ranger shows. But that's fine with me....I spent my childhood watching The Lone Ranger & Tonto.
it was the same production crew
Eddy Waller reminded me of Gabby Hayes
Thank you for uploading!
thank you...appreciated...👍👍
Goodstuf
Good show
Good show! I guess I'm just an old western movies addict!

I think you just have bad taste in picking good shows. lmao!
Funny I heard that same music on Superman from the 50's.
Sheriff heap good man, Banker heap bad man. Miss Hayes heap cutie ☺
Always thought Douglass Kennedy was good in western's and also in some b movie parts he had.was on the lone ranger numerous times along with Perry Mason.
Any pat Conway shows besides tombstone territory you know of?
I want to see the whole Series ????
Syndicated to local tv stations or was it a network series?
What year was this televised?
why do a lot of these, sound like a recruitment advert for the police force ? it's like, " uncle sam needs YOU "
The introduction is much too long.
