These are my favorite recording hooligans to call for any session, so I'm extra grateful they obliged on camera this time so the world can see and hear 'em as I do.

She does? I can't tell through the disgusting production. It's a shame how much the music industry shits on musicians to get a good performance faster. Reverb, a touch of compression and EQ are the only things that should be allowed to be applied to vocals at all times, but not autotune! That should be for demos only, just so that you quickly can get te point across

@@LanceWillMakeIt I think that might be due to brainwashing... if you're used to autotuned vocals I'm sure it sounds fine, but to someone who listens almost exclusively to old school heavy metal and hard rock it painful to listen to

Chess Ward Big artists often just buy the demo recording and replace the demo singer with themselves singing.

But it still feels like the equivalent of the 2nd string qb fighting & clawing & taking the team the length of the field, only to have the 1st string qb with a clean jersey come in on 1st & goal to push the ball three inches into the opposing team’s goal to take all the glory. @@10bbremer No, that's not what happens at all. That's called a lawsuit. They do, however, play nearly exactly the same takes the demo players play.

@@johncole4882 Master vocals are never tracked onto a demo. I work for a major label. Trust me on this one, pal. A lawsuit would occur because demo pay and master pay are two entirely different things. If a session musician accepted a contract based on the contract being paid at demo scale, and later found out his work was a master work, he'd sue.
