I could've watched this interview for an hour. I adore Sharon Horgan, she's brilliant. I was so happy for a second season of Bad Sisters and wouldn't mind seeing this continue for a few more seasons. Delightful show. And, as much as I admire Fiona Shaw (so masterful in Killing Eve), when that boom swung into her character's forehead propelling her into the water, I jumped out of my chair, yelling "the witch is dead".
Lol the most Northernly part of the Island of Ireland is in the “south” Northern Ireland isn’t even a whole province. It’s only 6 counties out of 32. Southern Irish…..What about the woman from Donegal Monaghan and Cavan.
One of my favourite writers working today. Sharon Horgan is brilliant, I adore Catastrophe and I've been enjoying Bad Sisters so far especially Season 2 that's currently running, bless you Sharon ❤
*FINALLY!* the states are getting wise to Sharon and her AMAZING talent. YEEEESSSSS!!! BAD SISTERS IS BACK!!! this show is perfection. Don’t F with a sister… cause their sister WILL F you up.
Is there a better interviewer than Seth Meyers? It's sooooo obvious that he really likes the people on his show. I just love watching him work. He could probably make the dullest person look stellar! (Though this was NOT the case with Sharon Horgan!)
Loved Sharon in Catastrophe :) Totally unrelated to anything, a question for stylists in general: why are you dressing women like this? Sharon was uncomfortable the whole time, trying to pull down her dress.
Love Sharon, and really liked the first season. This season is largely really good, but there's a few things where I was like, eh - please don't do that. (SPOILER WARNING) The first, when Eve's character bought a pregnancy test, then did the thing they show in every movie and show when someone's worried about being pregnant - she can't just buy one test, she has to buy a whole bunch. Sharon's character's thing with Grace's widow, and this from the boat. Saw that coming as soon as they got on the boat. Not a sailor, but even I know if you're using the motor and not the sail, that thing wouldn't be swinging around. Surprised they showed that clip - it's a fair bit of a spoiler. Still, overall like the show, but I was a bit disappointed with those three things that you could see coming.
Lovely to see Sharon on with Seth, and absolutely fantastic to see you mention my hometown and its famous swimming spot, The Forty Foot. NOW. For some Jackelling... The 40ft is NOT, in fact, so named because of its depth. The old story goes that it was a site where the 40th regiment foot soldiers used to bathe, in the 1800s. Apparently that is a debatable origin story buuuuut, either way, the water is not 40ft deep, nor is the land 40ft high, soooo... Yeah that's all I've got. Except for this excerpt from a suuuper reliable (ahem) source, Tha Wikipedias... "The name 'Forty Foot' is somewhat obscure. On an 1833 map, the Marine Road (located 1.5 km (0.93 mi) to the west) was named the Forty Foot Road, possibly because it was 40 ft (12 m) wide; the name may have been transferred to the swimming place, which was called the Forty-Foot Hole in the 19th century. Other accounts claim the name was given by fishermen because it was forty feet (6+2⁄3 fathoms) deep, but the water in the area is no deeper than 20 ft (6.1 m; 3.3 fathoms). Others have attempted to link it to the 40th (the 2nd Somersetshire) Regiment of Foot, who supposedly bathed there, but they were stationed at Richmond Barracks in Inchicore, further North in the county."

Southern Irish women are just next level. Immaculate, confident, great wit and humour, just effortless. ❤

That’s, a, huge, spoiler, they, dropped, in, that, clip!
If you’re going to add unnecessary commas, you might as well go all the way.
@@cwg73160 you come across really sharp and witty in that comment, not at all petty and pedantic…
@@joex2004uk Why are you angry at me? You’re the one who doesn’t know how to use commas. Calm down.
@@cwg73160 not angry, just confused as to your obsession with commas? Everyone needs a hobby, I guess?

True, although I’m sure the guests have a say in what they wear
Legs to die for!
I think we just found an actress who could play the role of a young Sophia Loren in a biopic movie of some type! 👍🤩
True
Her look and matter of fact style speaking.
Clip they showed didn’t have Horgan in it and was a major story spoiler.

Sharon Horgan is fantastic and I loved the first season of Bad Sisters. Second season is quite a let down, not funny, too much 'drama'.

Maybe 40ft from top of rock to bottom of water?
