Hey man love the car I’m just looking around the interwebs for ideas and combos to rip off lol for my poor old 69 Dart that was/is my first car and I’m tired of seeing it in my garage with it’s expired plates from 2003 while other cars and toys sit next to it prolly talking shit to each other lol at one time I had most of the stuff bought to put a dart twisting 440 in it but I just couldn’t bring myself to hack it up to put the fenderwell headers in it but kept the stuff like the 8 3/4 and a old I believe 70 340 short block car has a warmed over 318 in it now with its stock 2:something gear ratio wanting to say 2:73’s In the old and surprisingly trusty 7 1/4 incher was (just) quick enough to beat a couple old fox bodys making it the fastest car in my little school but nowadays a new Camry would prolly take it! But anyways that was introductions can you tell me what your current setup is running and what gears ya have as well as what size stall converter trans brake or no trans brake if ya don’t wanna disclose anything I can understand that if it’s making close to what ya say that sucker is a ripper
Sounds like you have a project! I don’t mind telling anyone the setup lol. It’s a 4 speed car, 3.91 gears and a 26” tall slick. I use a MSD 2 step to launch.
my wheels are Weld pro Stars .the rims are 8 inches, the Back space is 5.5 inches the tires are 255/60/15 with no alteration to car as in the Fender lip is not rolled up and no offset of leaf springs, tire is 10.2 inches sidewall width I measured 1/4 inch clearance both outside and inside. i am sure you will have more room "Front space" then i do. wheel is 15 x4.5 bolt pattern . Maybe look at Jegs Pro Stars they are cheaper
Dude you should just add some rim screws that rim and wheel combo. I use them on my race tire set up, I use tubes in mine but other guys run rims screws with no tubes. Would be a cheap fix!

Dam ya still got the small bolt pattern axles. I just got done switching my 68 to the BBP ....
I twisted a few stock ones, I got some nice moser axles with 1/2” studs. They’ve been doing great

you keep that much weight on your key switch it will cause you problems later in life...I had a '69 for 20 years...10 of them my keys kept falling out
What kind of mufflers ? Or is that jus straight headers ?
