Wow...now you are what I call a Pro Fish Keeper. Very nice planted aquarium indeed.
looks very cool and awesome. understood from the below comments that your tank is working well without Co2 that is very very interesting. I was wondering at my fish tank few plants are doing good and other are all gone. Its a learning to me to choose the best suite plants according to lighting and fertilizer etc.
Thanks for your video.
Good luck with your aquarium . .
Awesome tank!

Hi! Great video by the way :)
I am planning on getting a 55 gallon for a freshwater community planted tank that will either have a tetra/angelfish community, a betta, angelfish, tetra community, a gourami breeding tank with some cory cats (maybe 4) and an amano shrimp or two, or a female betta tank with 5 bettas. I am not sure which one would be best, would you be able to tell me?
I made the mistake of getting a 10 gallon with two females and two male guppies and a baby amano shrimp, and threw two snails in there and now i have 15 babies... (Selling them ASAP)
My plan is to get the 55 g tank for cheap, and get all the supplies I need. I know where to get substrate, as my uncle gave me some last time to start my 10 gallon. I know that I'd need two bags of it, so hopefully I can find a place that sells it for cheap. After that, I am wondering which would be best in your opinion: Black sand, or black gravel? I have natural coloured gravel already, but it gets coated in algae fast, so I am leaning towards sand, since I have heard it's easier to maintain, and looks nicer. I want black and dark colours to make whichever fish I choose to get pop. I may paint the back black to help it pop if I don't put a moss wall there.. If I got black sand, and added some driftwood with some java moss and anubias barteri on the wood, and added some java fern to coat the sides, and maybe made a java moss wall for the back, threw some good lighting on there with a hood, got a 150W heater set to 75F, a good quiet filter with just regular filter media, and maybe a moss ball or two, what fish would be best? I know bettas like moss balls, but what would be my best layout?
The fish I would be intrestied in getting and keeping and maintaining are the following:
Angelfish (only two)
Bettas (I could keep 5 or 6 in a tank alone, or I could get a 10 gallon for one if the plan didn't work out)
Gouramis (I love these fish, but I heard they are aggressive)
Black Skirt Tetras (They are beautiful!)
Neon or Black Neon Tetras (I would keep about 6-8 in the 55 gallon with other fish)
CLEAN-UP CREW I WOULD BE OKAY WITH HOUSING
Cory Catfish (To help clean up.. I know they like sand more than gravel)
Amano shrimp (I have one little guy, and I love him)
Nerite snails (Heard these only breed in brackish water, and are amazing at keeping the tank clean)
Bristlenose Pleco (Do these get big?)
Sorry for the long comment, but I am trying to get the best of advice, and you seem like the best option, and I don't want to kill any of my fish or plants (obviously)
Thank you so much if you read and reply to this comment, it would help me out tons.
By the way, would I need CO2 in the tank? It will have alot of plants..
200 liters is 52+ US gallons, FYI.
it s a 20g tank! thanks guys!

GOD ALMIGHTY DO NOT WANT PEOPLE EATING VARIOUS THINGS
You using co2.
+Fish Addict I didnt use Co2 in this tank . .
wow, for no Co2, your plants look great, whats your secret?
I'm trying maintain my plants without co2, its not doing too bad, i have ferts in the gravel and i use Fluval liquid fert on a daily feed.
+Fish Addict Thanks, It does take sometime to get the balance in a planted aquarium. I was the same as you at one stage. Choose the most appropriate plants based on your tank conditions . . Not every plant can thrive on any given temperature, ph, lighting and other relevant factors. . you might want to do a bit of re search on what kind of plants you got in your aquarium and its suitability to your usual tank conditions. Try to maintain a balance on the lighting and the ferts. Co2 is not necessary for a small tank. Just an airline pump and proper lighting and ferts with suitable plants will do the trick. .
