I bought a P3 based on your review when i bought one of your EDC belt pouches. A few years ago. Fantastic little torch, goes with me everywhere and used daily at work, as does the pouch (also a fantastic bit of kit), so keep the odd reviews coming. 😊

i've used an Elf as my EDC / work torch for the last 6 months .. it's been great , especially with the right angle lens , means it can clip to my harness or shirt pocket
The other point I was going to say... when you said it has one button that cycles through the modes, I thought ok, 3 modes maybe. 11 modes! Way too many, totally agree. Too much choice just gives me a headache 😂
EDC. Yes Armytek lights are great. I've had one of their headlamps for years and it works great. Actually 2500 lumens but goes way down to barely lit! Lol.
I'm a fan of 2 brands sofirn and wurkkos. I carry both depending on what I'm doing. Lately ive been carrying TD03 it's great under $30 My sofirn is 3 years old and great sp31pro Anyone looking for a very tough great light. I'm very hard on stuff and these have lasted much better then coast and nebo.
Neil - A lot like the Olight products, but look good for an EDC torch. RE Budget friendly, I think quality far outlasts the price. I have a maglight that is over 15 yeas old and still going strong - worth every penny.

Still can’t go wrong with a maglite. I’m really not interested in anything for field use that needs to be recharged as you have to then carry battery bricks to charge from. I go with the AA AAA batteries as these can be got even in LMIC countries or get rechargeable AA AAA so if you can charge then great but can be replaced with non chargeable ones. On, off, bright, and low is all you need. IMHO
You don't mention the power source and you don't demonstrate all the modes. Any company pushing USB Micro charging these days is, frankly, taking the mick. There are many cheaper, better options out there for my hard-earned money.
EDC. Personally, I swear by Sofirn. If you buy them direct from the company in China, they are really good value, plus they’re very innotive and listen to their customer base, even asking their advice on what they want. I have quite a number of different lanterns and torches, both throwers and floods, small and big though I’m always in the market for another torch.😁

Do any of the lights/torches have a red coloured mode, so you don' t ruin your night vision?
