  • Maronda Homes Cape Coral Burnt Store in Florida WARNING DON'T BUY FROM THEM. See my video first before buying. It took them 26 months to build a home that takes 10 months to build and they made lots of mistakes. Video only shows very few mistakes. If I start from the beginning of construction and show you how bad this builder is you would not buy from them.

    This video came up in my feed again and I just want to say thank you. I was thinking about using them and decided to go with a bigger established builder

    Did you do a walk thru before closing. I just bought a Maronda Home and I had 3 before closing a few days ago. I am so sorry this happened to you.

    We are thinking about going with Maronda Holmes in Osceola County, FL. We’ve toured a few of their available homes so far and I have been pleased with the quality. They must have better contractors around here I guess.

    Sorry to here this about your property. My wife and I went with Dr.Horton. And the incentives are amazing.

    • @koolone3791
      @koolone3791  7 місяців тому

      Now they are all giving great incentives because the interests rates are kind of high and not many buyers qualify unless the builders help them with incentives or financing.

      Becky here - DR HORTON has a few lawsuits an BBB complaints for shoddy workmanship….hopefully your house will be ok .

      I would also avoid DR Horton and Lennar. They are awful. In my community Lennar messed up the drainage and everything floods. DR Horton has major Lawsuits from Louisiana I saw the videos.

      D.R. Horton is the worst.

    Yeah thank god we canceled and went with another builder. So many huge problems you really have to do your research on these builders. People get caught up in the excitement of building a new house and then get completely screwed.

    Whoa, is there anything good about Maronda homes? Floorplan? Spa shower? Big bath tub?

    Did you buy the house with a realtor? And did you have some do a walk through before closing?

    • @koolone3791
      @koolone3791  7 місяців тому

      No realtor but. Having a realtor wasn't going to make a difference in there quality of work. They had to make slot of major repairs. I'm still waiting for them to fix a leak in my Central Air unit I move in May 2023 and it's almost the end of January 2024. Not happy with them at all and wouldn't buy from them again. I couldn't walk away from a home with equity so I waited over 2 years for them to finish.

      @@koolone3791 Why did you close with all these issues?

    • @ThePracticaltravelers

      You either close or get fined and if you back out then you lose your deposit.

    We were thinking to have a home built by them in Vero Beach or Sebastian, but this review/video is a eye opener. Have you gotten a laywer to put pressure on them to fix all these issues?

    • @koolone3791
      @koolone3791  Рік тому

      They are fixing all the issues but it shouldn't be this way. They needed to give me a move in ready home at the time of closing. I have been living at the home for 2 months and there are things that still need to be fixed. They take forever and they always have excuses. I had no choice to go thru with the purchase because I can't walk away from 200k equity. I wouldn't recommend them to many mistakes and excuses.

    • @koolone3791
      @koolone3791  Рік тому

      Maybe in Vero Beach they have good people working there that care about there customers. Not here in South West Florida they have the worst reviews.

    Also it took them 26 months to give me an unfinished home. Read my description. If you want me to make another video. Like this video and I will make a video from start to finish. To show how bad this builder really is.

    Marond homes screwed up my new build horribly. DO NOT GO WITH MARONDA HOMES.... HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES

  • @koolone3791
    @koolone3791  Рік тому

    If you have a contract and your home is worth market value or less walk away. If you have equity stick with the home do not walk away if the home has equity. Once it's complete If you don't like the home sell it and buy something else. They like to cut corners and don't keep there word or promises. Now there asking me to go through the home warranty when they have a IOU list they filled out before closing. Not happy with them at all. Just look them up on the Better Busines Bureau they have a low rating as a bad company. If I knew this before I would have not purchased this home. Home should be free of so many repairs when you close. Unacceptable.

    Why did you settle before they fixed everything?

    • @koolone3791
      @koolone3791  7 місяців тому

      I was waiting over 2 years for a home that should have been built in 10-12 months and I was renting and my lease was up so I told them I need to close and you have to fix all the issues.
