I've got a tantrum 220 as well, ditched the control bar for a set of padded handles. It's a blast when the wind kicks up. Want to get a synapse or one of the smaller quicker foils to add to my collection. Love the foils, tiny little bag with big fun inside
I had a zenith 7 that always flew weird and did random nosedives into the ground to the point that I didn't fly it anymore, it's my 5th prism kite. Was well past any return window by the time I got to fly it for the first time to discover what I hope was just a manufacturing flaw. I mentioned the instability to someone on a socal network comment, someone at prism saw it and I ended up getting an excahnge with a new kite postage paid with no cost to me. Have yet to test the replacement but props to prisms customer support. It speaks volumes when a company goes out of their way to make it right. 👍
For me, flying a kite is as close to a religious experience as I have ever come. The connection to the wind, the sky, and that beautiful bit of brightly colored fabric responding to my every pull, tug, and give. It all combines into an experience that is hard to explain to someone that has never had it. I often tell my friends that I understand what surfers mean about that place where you find yourself and lose yourself at the same time.
My wife learned to fly with a synapse 140 and any other kite would have been destroyed many times over but the prism, still factory fresh. Somehow they made the tails out of iron too. This company may be owned by space aliens with futuristic technology.

As the owner of three Prism kites (and zero other kites) I hope the best for you guys. I was just enjoying flying my new Synapse 170 this last weekend in honor of the annual ABC Kite Fest (here in Austin, TX) which was distributed throughout Austin because of Covid.
I just love wind driven activities! From stunt kite flying, to windsurfing, wind foiling and windskiing. Just picked up a new Prism Nexus and looking forward to flying it today.
Just got home a few hours ago from flying my new Prism Nexus sport kite and all I can say is wow!!! Very impressed with the performance of this kite! The wind was between 10-20 mph. Was able to navigate perfectly through all the velocity of wind today. Kite is super fast and responsive. This kite is so much faster and responsive than my old 20 year old delta wing stunt kite that wore itself out from many previous fun flights. My next day off, is my next flight with Nexus! The only thing I can say that would make this kite package perfect is it needs more line. It comes with 65 feet of line. In my opinion, it needs a minimum of 85 feet of line to get maximum fulfilment out if this kite. I feel I was somewhat limited on my maneuvers with 65 feet of line. With 85 feet of line, opens up a whole other spectrum of performance.
Just got into flying kites 🪁, bought a prism vertex.. now I want to buy more. Such a fun pastime that brings your back to your childhood but need to work my up to stunt kiting. Glad I discovered prism kites!
Very true, I feel like flying my synapse 140 is the most fun I have had during quarantine.

The nexus was my first real kite, still my go to kite 👍
