@@sdg131 Are you sure? I've found many other quest locations without unlocking them first this way (I even found the Mantis's lair without reading the note!). The only locations I found you can't force into are the temples since they are randomly located (it's actually a bit more complicated. The location of the temples are predetermined in a save file, but if the game detects you have landed in the area before unlocking the temple, it will choose another tile to respawn the temple). But I can't see any reason they would make the landmarks on earth this way, since they are real life locations that should be in a specific spot. Could it be you weren't actually in the exact spot? I know it's pretty hard to get right. The scale of the planet maps in this game is huge. You have to compare the terrain features of the area maps and make sure they are exactly the same to be sure you are in the same tile. The random POIs (caves, dungeons etc) will be randomly located, but the terrain is fixed and won't change.

I really didn't like what they did to Earth in the game, I get they had to invent a reason for humanity to colonize the Milky Way but they could have come up with something better. Maybe creating a problem of extreme overpopulation, so high that humanity was forced to migrate to other planets while leaving the Earth to be a protected place under an space agency, so the planet would be still explorable and it would still have fauna and flora on it, as well as decaying monuments and cities.
I wish they would have placed markers on Earth so when you go there the terrain matches the basic shape of an area. And maybe have some mutated humans that attack you too, but I get why they didn’t.

Why the fuck are these massive buildings still standing but absolutely nothing else? It would be nice if Earth wasn't just a blasted wasteland. You'd think most of the sand and dust that would form would flow more into the now exposed ocean beds, why the hell are these high elevation spaces not exposed?

Just say you don't understand, right? YOU don't know why they're still standing..... Someone has said why in the comments section, but I'll let YOU do your own research as to why it makes sense.... Or are you to "lazy"?
@@waynemaurice9598 You want your bonus for being a smartass? There is no scientific explanation only these specific buildings would be the only things still standing on the entire earth.
>the Apollo 11 landing zone isn't a cordoned off, protected and maintained historical site
Damn well ought to be, tbh
wish they actually took the time to sort of make more ruins like with that mad max game, just buried homes and stuff, and make it seem like there used to be a actual city there, more buildings sticking out, perhaps some you can even enter
I always kinda thought someone was upkeeping these as monuments
Kinda hate that earth is just a dead world. I kinda like the idea of earth being out there gathering strength to retake it's colonies but, nope dead world.
I don't know why there aren't more ruins on Earth to be honest. To just see it as mostly barren dry land doesn't make sense to me even with how it was explained in game.
13:22 damn los santos is freak up now
1:17 also liberty city too
I wanna build a base next to the empire building, does it have an interior or is it just this
96% skyscrapers… that almost look identical.. 0% effort lol
It’s your lamé opinion
@@DinoRicky I bet your opinion is as exciting as watching paint dry.
0% effort like everything in the game lol
@@dpc3825truth nah there are many things in the game which are good, It was just advertised completely wrong making it sound like a no man’s sky sort of game which it’s not. It’s fallout 3 in space. The game has many bad qualities and many good.
@@DinoRicky You need people to say "in my opinion" after every sentence when they're expressing what they like and dislike about something? Or is pointing out the obvious just a hobby of yours. Let me try.
Hey! Those are your words!
Wish I would have seen this before doing the Siren of the Stars mission
I expected ruins everywhere especially in New York, it's kinda convenient and ridiculous only postcards survived in this desert of excuse and laziness.
I was hoping you would show zoom-ins on the planet map for the locations so I could go without unlocking their coordinates. I enjoyed finding locations that I hadn't unlocked on the map by looking at others' screenshots and videos. It's hard at first but gets easier as you hone your technics.
They don't appear unless you unlock the coordinates
They missed a real opportunity to make some of the really BIG landmarks "Dungeons Crawlers" to the top floor for Legendary Drops!
I was expecting at least the statue of christ from Rio since is one of the best monuments of mankind
For the Japan landmark, I can't access the Key to get the book. I sided with the UC and those areas of the station are locked. Any idea if the book is anywhere else? Or any clue as to how I can access those areas? Not sure if the UC opens them up at a later date.
love how they included only hellscape urban nightmares not cool shit like taj mahal🙏
As cool as these are, it's kind of a lot of missed potential. They could've went all out for Earth in a post apocalyptic future city considering Earth was abandoned in the 2200's
I really they used something more iconic than the blimmin shard to represent london. We have monuments and buildings galore, and they choose that ugly thing?
Wanted to find a vault with people in cryo sleep or ghouls and some missions around that.
That’s nice and all, but there’s no way those structures would still be standing when literally everything else is gone…
You forgot the Tower of Pisa in Italy ;)
As a man who lives in St. Louis, seeing the arch damaged like that is disheartening
Humanity in starfield can terraform other planets but cannot use that technology to terraform back to the way it was that's just lazy handwriting right there .
very unreal one tower left and city gone
I'm offended. I don’t know by what logic they chose, but the list seems simply random. Seriously. Is it so difficult to find money for normal attractions? Where is the Eiffel Tower? Where is the Kremlin? Where is the Colosseum? Where is the Statue of Liberty?? Where is Vegas at least?!
I love how there is no mount everest, no great wall of China, no dips in the land from massive oceans, whatever its bethesda.
I love how you don’t realize that what is going on is a specific side quest to find certain books that lead to the snow globes that are being collected
This is not a tour of the earth 🙄
*some how, one man's oldest landmarks, can stand longer then mans newest feats*
Earth seems to have been done dirty by Bethesda there should be alot more to see and explore. Alot more.
They literally makin map of earth like shadow of the collosus map
Really makes no sense but ok lol, still more cool than everything being gone I guess
FINALLY got all 11 snow globes and therefore the spacesuit... only for said spacesuit to be worse than anticipated. It's advanced-quality, while I would need superior-quality. Oh well
Only iconic buildings are allowed to survive the apocalyspe.
wtf literally the entire cities disappeared but somehow random ass buildings managed to not collapse and vanish
I mean I totally get the idea but it makes absolutely no sense
like the metlife building, the flatiron, the statue of liberty, the one wtc, the brooklyn bridge, the chrysler building, the rockefeller center , the times square... all gone, turned into literal dust
oh but the Empire state is just fineee!
Can’t you land on top of building with spaceship?
I wanted St. Louis to be included in Fallout again, but this is close enough I guess. 😂
I think St. Louis is the next Fallout city, there or Chicago
Damn! I was sooooo clooooose🤦🏻♂️
There is not enouth ruin, where is the Eiffel Tower, the Parthenon, the coliseum there is only shity skyscrapers.
How do I get to that museum room?
You have to do the main quest
Would be cool if you just lookee at them.
Are you able to free roam and find these?
nice one bro, just posted myself a vid on how to reach all of these landmarks
nothing short of easter eggs. but i admit its stupid that all of earth is flat when they demonstrated their abiltiy to create mont, hills, canyons
God's sake man USE YOUR BOOST PACK
no way maze bank made it into starfield
何故にあべのハルカス
No CN tower? Unfortunate
I searched far and wide for these things on earth. Haven't found shit
You have to find a red book in most of the cities to unlock the location
Find the associated book and it will unlock a landing area near each landmark
Good to know thanks
Is there a book for the nasa location
@@BlazeyyPlayz you will have to go through the main story to get the nasa location
Apparantly australia doent exist
It doesn't according to ragreynolds

That’s what the stupid flat earth people think anyway 😂
Or anywhere below the equator for that matter
I keep seeing how fucking lazy they got with everything in this game. I swear. I *really* hope someone with actual talent goes in and fleshes out these areas a bit more. Why the fuck are these massive buildings still standing but absolutely nothing else? It would be nice if Earth wasn't just a blasted wasteland. You'd think most of the sand and dust that would form would flow more into the now exposed ocean beds, why the hell are these high elevation spaces not exposed?
im suprised seattle/seattle space needle wasn't a landmark, it would have made so much sense to do lmfao
with all these tower landmarks its a wonder why they don't allow us to fly our own ships in atmosphere 💀💀
C'mon, man, The Great Pyramid of "Giza" and "Cairo" landmark? Giza and Cairo are two cities. It's like saying "The Great Wall of China - Australia" 😅
Great work though genuinely, it just felt funny that's all.
Im a simple man. I played the game, i saw zero gore or wounds and stopped playing.
The shard the one thing all londonders agree is atrocious. Cant believe they chose that as our Landmark.
Makes a lot of people wonder what the hell happened to earth?
There’s a theory that Starfield takes place thousands of years after the events of fallout franchise.
My counter argument is that they don’t take place in the same story/universe, and are completely separate from one another.
My man they say it in game
Earth lost its atmosphere and had to be evacuated
If Earth manages to lose its atmosphere somehow, then how did the sand spread?
There’s a whole quest that explains in detail what happened on earth.
@@sircrimsonwolf7492 Feel like we should be able to find vaults, or at least 1 vault as easter egg to Fallout.
Why didn’t you put your weapon away the entire time??
They literally predicted the future of this world.
That artifacts would be found on mars and used to create gravity drives which in turn caused the earths core to destabilize and the earths magnetic field to collapse 🙄
Procedural generation is the problem here. That's why we don't see the rest of the buildings. Modeling out buildings everywhere would eat so much game space and dev time. Give it some time after the SDK comes out. Modders will inevitably add in more around the landmarks.
Wow, thats, ... thats, .... just boring. Damn, I expected way more :(
It’s sad that they put nothing in Europe and that their are so little things to find and most of them are ofc in America but they were even to lazy to make 3 pyramids 😂
They could put coliseum, Eiffel Tower, Atomium, Sagrada Familia,… but nope, they put the same Skycraper with different shapes everywhere but in Europe :(
@@quintus_rex7381 Yes its sucks.. :/ And they in general just let earth get destroyed bc it would be tooo much work to do a 1:1 of modern earth back then but common 100 years later we got still the same stupid skyscrapers?
@@chipmaster-do1zy Nope, theres a reason why Earth is like this, try playing and you'll find out
@@waynemaurice9598 I know the lore behind it but its was made for obvious reasons like that becase it would be to complex to model 1:1 earth and so they choose to create lore why earth was destroyed and its so deeply connected to the entire story line
