Have you had any experience with the BD flow max lift pump and filter system? I'm looking at all the different options but I'm kinda leaning toward the BD partially because it is made in Canada and thats where I'm from.
just curious why don't you just use a G&R billet aluminum bottom sump with integrated fuel return? seems like you always use beans sumps and then have to mess around with the factory lift pump lines.
Steven Lodwig my guess would be because with air dog is demand flow the return sends back air and very little fuel back. Having the return close the feed with air is a no no but that's my guess also beans makes one with a return built in. Personally I like the G&R but run with beans because that sledge hammer video
The return shouldnt be sending any air back whatsoever, that would mean there is air on the load side of your airdog and there would be air going to your injectors, the fuel system should be a closed loop with no point for air to enter other than where the lift pump is sucking from. the G&R sumps are designed to be used with FASS and Airdog pumps, dont see a lot of people using the G&R ones though for some reason. though the sledge hammer video is pretty impressive!
hey greg check out g&r diesel sumps i just got one for my 07 5.9 with my new airdog 4g after seeing you airdog vid, but the g&r diesel sump has a built in return
Everything tore apart their. Only thing I don’t like about the FASS 150 I have is the fuel pressure seems a little all over the place and no real adjustment. But I read off an edge and I hear I might need an orifice before the sensor to read proper. Sounds like air dogs are more user friendly. The Injection pump won’t take more then it needs regardless
John should I purchase a 2002 Ford F650 with a CAT 3126 in it 219k miles 13k money crew cab Harley Davidson interior, 8ft cm flat bed very clean rust free
i just put a air dog 100 on my 95 cummins i can tell a real difference in the throttle response and seems to have a little more power. install was pretty straight forward nice quality product. what do you suggest for fuel pressure from stock to modified engines with the p pump
hey greg, I was wondering where you got those nut and bolt size finding things from.(the blue ones on your shelves) I've seen some like those in a hardware store near me but they are just for customers to use and not for sale. Also looking for a good under-hood light and you said you would put a link to the one you use in a previous video but I think you forgot! Even just the brand names would help, Thanks! (ps. I don't own a diesel but you're making me want one BAD!)
Engine.......motor......Our next lesson is on fly wheels and flex plates and the difference of..... Great job Greg A and crew. Love the videos....John needs a minute with the block off plate
I worked on a friends 7.3 today replacing glow plugs and valve cover gaskets because the truck would not start. After I washed my hands, I still felt dirty!
Why does your first gen start so hard. I live in Montana and the one I'm working on sat for 2 weeks in weather in the teens and 20s with no heating grid and started first try after just a few seconds turning over. That thing still have stock cam and timing?
Greg love your vids bro keep up the good work..i got a question i got a 03 dodge ram diesel 5.9 w a 6in pipe from turbo and a 8 inch tip and its not loud at all do you know how i can make it louder? Please answer
DOPE BOY compressor wheel is the wheel in the turbo, most stock turbos come with a silencer wheel so you don’t have a ton of turbo noise. They make aftermarket wheels that you can put in that aren’t silenced so you get a louder spool. If it’s a true straight pipe then change the wheel and you should hear a major change sound wise
Decked Galaxy357 OK and I just asked the guy who I bought it from and he said he don't remember everything he did to it.I asked him if he straight piped it and he.said he dont know what that is.n neither do I.so what would be a straight pipe?
dasbronco1 broken rads don’t mean blown head gaskets, plastic rads always crack especially after 300,000 that’s why people upgrade to aluminum. Besides if it was a bad head gasket there would have been oil in the coolant
Kaleb Hamlin lots of timing will do that too but I’ve got the timing set to the same spot or even higher than he has on that truck.... so it’s no grids and garden hose nozzles for injectors.
back brace clearance hahaha poor johnny. good to see the high spirits
Do whatever makes you happy Greg A!!! Lol!
Saturday is for the boys!
Gosh that is such a beautiful motor/engine
Best upload yet
Gotta Love the Sendit commentary haha..
Great video Greg A, and J send it!

My 2014 Cummins cc lb 4x4 2500 is starting to get death wobble fairly regularly. Have you guys found any good solutions?
How did you get the transmission disconnected?

Good video guys.
Yup. Plastic end caps on the radiator, eventually crack every time. Happened to my old Silverado as well.
Gnr diesel dump kit for the win !
“I’ve got 5 12 valve engines at the house”😂😂😂
Corbin Bolick you think with 5 engines layin around he would have enough to finish the blue truck in his garage
Corbin Bolick selling any
Coolant bypass??????, it's a good time to do it while the engine is out what you think
Can you remove the radiator without removing the whole front end
How do you remove the upper frame rail piece tho? I’m pulling an engine on one and it seems like I would have to cut it
That is the same place my first GEN 07 radiator cracked a week ago
So is the engine from the silver truck going into the black one?
hey greg check out g&r diesel sumps i just got one for my 07 5.9 with my new airdog 4g after seeing you airdog vid, but the g&r diesel sump has a built in return
THEM SHOES!!!
At least I know I'm not the only one who had to pull a radiator out Saturday
hey greg whats the length and width of your garage?
DBZ! Awesome!
Afe makes a nice airbox and filter for the 2nd gen
Everything tore apart their. Only thing I don’t like about the FASS 150 I have is the fuel pressure seems a little all over the place and no real adjustment. Did some of the 2nd gens..come with 12 valves and some came with 24 valves
yep. 94-98 second gens came with the 12 valve and 98.5-02 came with the 24 valve
John should I purchase a 2002 Ford F650 with a CAT 3126 in it 219k miles 13k money crew cab Harley Davidson interior, 8ft cm flat bed very clean rust free

More info on the return line to pump feed fitting.
Would you sell everything I would need to swap from a himi to a Cummins
Greg A. I'm wondering how you put the trans temp gauge for the first in the pan wanna add a trans temp to my silverado but not sure how to go about it
Thanks
nick seideman no problem

Love that Johnny and his nuts
The new silver truck needs to be called send it silver
I️ would like to know what you do for a living? Do you work with John at Cat?
If you don’t mind
Can't believe you uttered that sentence "shoulda bought f#@!'s"
What cabinets are in Greg's garage?
You pulled till your Cummins came out?
What tires do you guys runs.
I was beginning to experience withdrawals 😂
I worked on a friends 7.3 today replacing glow plugs and valve cover gaskets because the truck would not start. After I washed my hands, I still felt dirty!
So if its on johns truck, then wouldn't it be called a send-it unit ?
“We should all just buy Ford’s” lol
Never seen Greg A without a hat.
this video was much better! alot more truck footage alot less selfie!
Why does your first gen start so hard. I live in Montana and the one I'm working on sat for 2 weeks in weather in the teens and 20s with no heating grid and started first try after just a few seconds turning over. That thing still have stock cam and timing?
Its the timing for sure
GREG_ALBERALLA ok that makes sense then.
Do you always do a Greg A delete on mufflers? Great vids
G&R makes a sump with supply and return so it makes it easy..
Ever heard of an engine block heater or maybe an intake air heater? Glacier diesel makes a Bad-A one that flows very well.
When are you going to post a video about the rest of the gauge installation on the first gen.
You missed the one in the garage that’s broke also Lol. Only the tow pig runs without fail
How much does one of the 5.9 Cummins weigh
Bailey Coalson around 1100 lbs
How do I disconnect the fuel lines from the filter housing I'm swapping my 24 vaulve
Greg love your vids bro keep up the good work..i got a question i got a 03 dodge ram diesel 5.9 w a 6in pipe from turbo and a 8 inch tip and its not loud at all do you know how i can make it louder? Please answer
DOPE BOY change your compressor wheel for a louder spool. And do you have a straight pipe or cats and muffler?
Decked Galaxy357 straight piped and thanks
Decked Galaxy357 but like I just got this truck and its my first diesel truck and I dont know what that means can you explain it to me please

I just got turned onto your channel. New sub. Fucking rad shit not a huge diesel guy but you guys are doing big shit!!!!
@ 8:54 anybody know what that box is on the bottom left that says Napa on it?
My rad cracked in the same place last year
Love your channel I have not been able to stop watching all of your videos keep up the great work
Can say enigine and motor ... but last vid kept saying flywheel not flex plate 😂😂
It's the dodge radiators period lol, had to change the radiator on my dodge car because of a crack
Getting spoiled over here with 26 mins of footage!!!
#cumminsbreakdown
Greg are you going to name your place, the house of cummins
When can I see a vid about the bike?
jeremy vaiz go look at his first few videos. He covers it
Jenny needs a hoodstack too!
"Wait solenoid controls wastgate? Whats wrong with boost?" Johnny send it had me dying lmao
There’s a crack on the turbo that you pulled out of the new truck
More of Kevin’s truck!
Well dont feel bad man because I call them all engines
My guess is the head gasket is gone in Andy's truck that's why the rad cracked
dasbronco1 broken rads don’t mean blown head gaskets, plastic rads always crack especially after 300,000 that’s why people upgrade to aluminum. Besides if it was a bad head gasket there would have been oil in the coolant
Finally some second gen love
She was shaking around before John got into it
Johnny Sendit killing me with those one-liners.
What do you use for the waste gate on the he351
John’s old white truck was MUTCH better that the blue truck!
I love the first gens, my all tiime favourite. Thanks for the vid.
Awesome awesome video Greg A and Johnny Send it so much content to see can’t wait to see what’s in store for tomorrow’s video
That 2nd gen is dirt nasty!!
Volkswagen basically makes all cars now lmao
Block off plate from a Chevy big block fit perfect super cheap
Love the longer videos man!!
COME ON GUYS HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON ...
Greg Keep Up The Awesome Work Bro!!!
7.3 coming soon?
Morgan Rides would be nice but for some reason he hates fords
ExcursionPower he had a ford ranger and loved it
Why put a FASS on a 12 Valve?
Why is the silver 12 valve so hard to start now?
it got cold out
Kaleb Hamlin like he said plus it’s got some big ole injectors
Kaleb Hamlin and no grid heaters I believe
Makes sense, I was wondering if the mods he did had something to do with it. Thanks
Kaleb Hamlin lots of timing will do that too but I’ve got the timing set to the same spot or even higher than he has on that truck.... so it’s no grids and garden hose nozzles for injectors.
I think Johnny should be your full time camera man. He's killing it!
Please ask Kevin if he would sell me his old pump and filter? Then ship it to me.
I'm completely fine with 20+ minute videos
Billet block the silver truck?!
AJ13illeck sound's like a meybe on account of the 05 has low mileage probably better to keep mint
