Re: Art advice from three weeks ago. My daughter, an art teacher, gave me my favorite rule. That person that makes it look so easy has put in a thousand hours before showing you what she’s doing! Once I started giving myself permission to be a beginner for a thousand hours I quit taking it so seriously, took time to gather inspiration, used “the good supplies “ for practice and just did “something “ everyday. And if it’s crap🙄 I can recycle!! I like your advice! Thank you for sharing your time, your thoughts and the resulting expertise of your thousand hours!
That's great advice from your daughter. I agree that we need to accept that we are "beginners" so we can learn freely. I'm glad you enjoyed the video 💜
Thankyou again for an excellent video Miss Betsi. I can see that I'll have to do a lot of practise to get the two halves to be even in size and shape. I must remember to slow down 😊
Beautiful! I will try it for sure! again, you are helping me to understand how these beautiful shape can come along in a simple way. It is completely up to our creativity how we want to incorporate that. Thanks for giving me the chance to learn this foundation!
You are the best instructor I have seen lately!! You make sure to explain and show your work step by step. And your hand is out of the way!!! 😂😂. I love your work and thank you so much for the lessons!! It has helped me tremendously!!!
Wow, thank you! I’m so glad you’re finding the tutorials helpful. My hand does occasionally get in the way but I make sure to get it out of the way once I notice.☺️
I use a white charcoal pencil. I only have one tip when using it: make sure you don't try to use it on top of colored pencil. The charcoal is chalky and it cant stick to slick surfaces like acrylic paint or colored pencil. Other than that I highly recommend General's White charcoal pencil.

Straightforward and clear instructions. You make it look easy and I'm sure it's not, but I'm inspired enough to try. Thanks 💜
