    WOBKEY Rainy75 - It has wireless 2.4Ghz (1000Hz polling) along with QMK/VIA support and I would have gone for it or at least would have considered it, but where I live it comes to $150, definitely one should go for if at advertised price or on sale. Personally, after comparing it to the Epomaker TH80 Pro v2, I went with Keychron V1 Max, as an upgrade to my trusty and modded Keychron K2 v2 (which sounds and feels awesome after mods).

      PCB 아래에 케이스폼을 넣어두시면 PCB에 약간의 서포트를 주기 때문에 푹푹 꺼지는 느낌이 줄어들어서 노폼 버전의 가까운 사운드를 들으실 수 있을거에요! 시도해 보시게 되면 후기 들려 주세용 😊영상 봐주셔서 감사합니다 🌞

    I’m planning on picking one up when I go to Korea for a month this summer. I saw that it can be ordered for $75 out there. I’ll have it shipped to my in-laws’. I’m hoping to pick up a high-end board as well. Please recommend a Korean website or shops in either Busan or Seoul 고마워 🙏🏽

    • @TAZAKEY
      @TAZAKEY  7 місяців тому +4

      Hello! It's great that you're visiting Korea! It can get quite hot in the summer, but I think you'll definitely enjoy it 🌞
      While you're visiting, I think your best bet is actually checking out the Naver storefronts of Swagkeys or GEONWORKS. They have better pricing and selection for the local market compared to their international stores. Either for the Rainy75 or purchasing from these Naver stores, you'll need to become familiar with how online payments work in the country. Most things are tied to a unique resident ID that foreigners do not have access to. Without this, you won't be able to get a local phone number, which will prevent you from shopping online in most cases (it will prevent you from ordering food online too). You may need to ask your in laws for their credit card to complete these online purchases.
      If you're looking for physical stores, there are a few, but I think they have mostly fallen behind compared to what's available online. Leaderskey can be interesting if you have interest in Topre/Leopold, but other than that I feel most of the physical storefronts have lost their shine with most keyboard options moving online.
      If you're open to non-keyboard tips as well: I highly recommend trying some fried chicken in Korea. Kyochon is my favorite, but I feel you can't really go wrong with most options. Seoul is a city of cafes, so there's a lot to explore if you're into that. You should visit a fish market while in Busan and have some 회 prepared in front of your eyes!
      Hope you have a great trip!

    • @DiabloMonk
      @DiabloMonk 7 місяців тому +1

      @@TAZAKEY Thank you for the detailed response. Your tips are very helpful.
      I lived in Seoul 2000-2003. Even then it was rough even logging into just a website as a foreigner. I basically turned my foreign ID number into a local one by changing the first and last numbers. I doubt that would work now.
      I remember Kyochon was kind of new at the time. I think they had a soy garlic recipe that was kind of different. I liked buying chicken from the local outdoor markets and from a variety of bars.
      My favorite way to eat 회 is 회덮밥. I don’t think I’ve had it since I moved back to the U.S. I’m looking forward to that 닭갈비, 되지갈비 and 안동찜닭.These dishes are not easy to find here.

    • @TAZAKEY
      @TAZAKEY  7 місяців тому +1

      Oh wow! Seoul has definitely changed considerably over the last decade - I can only imagine how shocked you may be coming back to the city in 20 years.
      Soy garlic wings from Kyochon are one of my top picks for fried chicken in Korea hahaha. There are so many newer options now though to choose from. I think you'll be sad to see that a lot of the local markets don't feel as lively as they once used to. Online shopping and Coupang have really changed the retail landscape.
      Anyway, I hope you enjoy the trip!! Safe travels to you and your family 🌞
