Let's go! So pumped for these new releases. The Ar prefix in Argadir or Aragorn is elvish for royal or noble, so i'd expect to see a few more Ar- names coming soon. I think the sneak peak is for a fallen Rhudaur banner as part of a command pack. The sigil is the arnor banner. I think you guys are right that the main arnor guys aren't disheveled, so I'm thinking it's an evil mini
Calling it now, the teaser will be Aranarth, first Chieftain of the Dunedain. The banner of the fallen kingdom will be his cloak and he'll have some banner effect because of it. Probably will be usable in both Arnor and the Rangers faction.

Great spot with the hand! It could be a similar model to the Rohan captain holding A dying orc. Something Angmar holding a dying Arnor. It kind of looks like the cape could be separated? Great review guys!
One nice thing about cool models with eh rule sets is the rules can always be changed later. The sculpt of the mini stays for in MESBGs case. Sometimes forever. :') So I think it's great we're getting such awesome looking minis right now and then we can worry about the details of the copy and paste rules down the line atlest. ^^
Would love for it to be werewolves, but I feel like it’s likely something Rhudaur related at this point (which I’m psyched for all the same). Going out on a limb here, but maybe even some kind of new named spectre (tattered Arnor banner is giving me barrow wight vibes)?

Would getting an old Veteran Hero with Mighty Warrior special rule and 2-handed weapon be something that you would look for in an Arnor list? can still make him a 2 attack, 2 wound, 3 might, 1 will, 1 fate model that just loves to be in combat but would that be preferable to master of battle 5+? would you take that model?
This guy kinda already fits the old man bill honestly, I doubt they'll make such a similar character, would love a two hander tho, they're always fun -Liam
I hope they actually start to sell the Arnor warriors again. Would have loved a cool 1 attack profile for Arnor, to be the opposite to arvenduil but that new model does look really cool! (Am also really looking forward to new angmar releases)
Such a shame, what a waste of a release, there are a dozen factions with 20+ year old infantry that you use 16+ of in every game. But they use this release to invent a new character from a faction that isn't even in the LOTR
They have such weird priorities... Why do an expansion for an OOP metal-only faction and if you were planning on doing it, why make **THAT** the earliest priority release in 2024 for a game with a maddeningly slow release schedule? Why not do a plastic Elessar or BANNERMIR to help players expand on their Osgiliath starters? Why do a fancy plastic Elrond and a new Glorfindel and NOT a new Rivendell warrior box for them to lead??? Why not take advantage of immense nostalgia for the Jackson films (a nostalgia increased tenfold after the universally loathed garbage fire disaster that was RoP) and do something like a Last Alliance battle box with Gil-Galad taking on a new plastic Sauron? I bet the collectors and painting/diorama guys who don't play the game would scoop that up. In short; WHY James Workshop **WHY** ?!? I want to know why they're like this.
I’m hoping it’s a full fall of arnor campaign book with maybe 1 high elf monsters del let’s say mithlond marines: either bow and hand weapon or throwing weapon and hand weapon. I was hoping for a fleshed out hero and troop for arthaidain, cardoland and rhudur with the rhudur evil version for angmar. Also a bodyguard like fountain guard and a king and named king. Maybe even named or unnamed princes of the three realms.

It definitely gives an ethereal vibe, maybe a like an spectre captain? Or a new model for "dead marsh" spectres? To be more arnor themed?

by veteran I mean an older looking character which most definitely would have been a part of Arnor's Last Stand, like a 60yr old decorated soldier

I get it but if their doing things properly then starting with arnor and then going through the armies with few models and expanding makes sense!
