My video intro pretty much describes this video but for those of you who actually read the descriptions, this video showcases the NEW Lowrance Active Target but this is using real-time screen recordings taken directly from my HDS Live unit.

PS... One thing I forgot to mention..
Screen recordings aren’t in HD like on your screen when you are looking at it in real-time.
So it looks ALOT better on the screen vs. screen recording.

Exactly the type of video I’ve been wanting to see. Thanks for taking the time to put it together. What forward range did you have your unit set to during this video? I run my livescope at 75 feet forward most of the time. Thinking about switching to Active Target so I can be all Lowrance. Just want to be sure I can still see good clear detail that far out. With the narrower cone angle I really expect the long range detail to be even better.

@@bbennefieldfishing awesome, I will order from them as well. Lowrance doesn’t even reply to my many inquiries. I tried to order the ghost trolling motor from Lowrance as well, as they advertised free shipping, but at checkout charged $55. Same price on Amazon with free shipping.

Which player did you use to view the active target files? I even tried to open them in premier pro to edit them and it still wouldn’t open them
I just use "Preview" on my Mac
Hey man, I know this is an older video but how did you export the video so you can see if after the fact? i called Lowrance and they said its not possible.
You just need to have a 32GB or less memory card inside the MFD thats displaying the AT. Then you just go to options in your AT and just record, the files will save automatically to that card you have in the MFD. You then remove the card and take the card to your computer to export them.
Rod did you ground the module to battery terminal? Curious if I need to do this. Haven’t tested mine yet.

Are you using the log sonar option on the unit for this?
No, it just says.. "Record" under your options in the AT menu
How far out was your setting and how seep was the setting
100' Forward and Down should be set at TWICE the depth you are actually in
Nothing new here. I've been watching this on Garmin LiveScope for over two years.
