Phil gets to talk so much more in the videos than in real life!
Was a pleasure to meet you all, and that's an excellent install video, even easy for those with soft hands to follow

You lads are really good, you explain everything you do so easy and make it easy to understand how to do it. But decking, I'm not too sure. tbh I watched your pre fabricated build with the grey shed / office with interest and loved it
I'm thinking of composite decking with no experience, but I will try after watching you guys
If I fucke it up I'm hoping you can help haha

Hi Guy’s, A very entertaining and informative video. I can see that the decking is level with the patio door and the damp proof course. Do you have concerns with this and if not, what have you done to negate the possibility of water breaching the DPC?

    • @homeimprovements

87 tooth wood blade worked great just expect it to be blunt when your done the composite isn’t kind to blades 😁😁

On my decking frame, i covered it with outdoor plywood so i didnt have to bother adding noggins for support where decking boards finished.

Does the decking tape prevent the hidden fixed boards from creeping in the heat, ie closing the gap between cuts etc? Ive seen an example of composite decking before and the boards always move no matter how much tension the screwed fixing put on them.

3mm bit in a trend counter sink 😊

    • @TJam_538

@@homeimprovements Is this correct as the colored screws are 4mm so there isn't any wiggle room like in the video

And if I was the customer the first thing I would say is pull it back up I would want even piece at both ends not a full board at one end then a sliver as you walk out thas a rookie move and these guys should know to have at least measured the internal area and predict the end gap
