Phil gets to talk so much more in the videos than in real life! Was a pleasure to meet you all, and that's an excellent install video, even easy for those with soft hands to follow
You lads are really good, you explain everything you do so easy and make it easy to understand how to do it. But decking, I'm not too sure. tbh I watched your pre fabricated build with the grey shed / office with interest and loved it I'm thinking of composite decking with no experience, but I will try after watching you guys If I fucke it up I'm hoping you can help haha
Hi Guy’s, A very entertaining and informative video. I can see that the decking is level with the patio door and the damp proof course. Do you have concerns with this and if not, what have you done to negate the possibility of water breaching the DPC?
Awesome work lads. I'm about to do ours in a months time and this has really helped as the wife wants a picture frame. Only 1 question what is the best blade for the miter saw?
Hi Guys, Just wondered if you could recommend the best way and the best look to lay decking in a quarter circle patio area, please cheers i a. Reg. Bea
excellent boys , just couldnt follow the last bit where you were screwing in the last plank. I couldnt understand how you got the last line of screws in!!
Does the decking tape prevent the hidden fixed boards from creeping in the heat, ie closing the gap between cuts etc? Ive seen an example of composite decking before and the boards always move no matter how much tension the screwed fixing put on them.
Changing the subject from the video, I have a question about the concrete blocks utilized for support. How can I ensure that they are all level when laying them?
And if I was the customer the first thing I would say is pull it back up I would want even piece at both ends not a full board at one end then a sliver as you walk out thas a rookie move and these guys should know to have at least measured the internal area and predict the end gap
What the hell are these people thinking with all the tattoos. Your going to grow up some day. Is that something you're going to want to look at the rest of you're life. U want to think your different. Get a life

What spotlights did you use on this?
Awesome work lads. I'm about to do ours in a months time and this has really helped as the wife wants a picture frame. Only 1 question what is the best blade for the miter saw?
87 tooth wood blade worked great just expect it to be blunt when your done the composite isn’t kind to blades 😁😁
What did you use to cut that last piece? Great job and really helpful video 👍
Love the new Zealand accent. I follow a guy on youtube from NZ and every time it says deck I crease with laughter ;)
🤣 not Scott brown by any chance
@@homeimprovements Sure is mate 🤣
On my decking frame, i covered it with outdoor plywood so i didnt have to bother adding noggins for support where decking boards finished.
So where does all your excess rainwater go that would normally filter through the gaps?
This is mental

Do you think this would be okay built on a C16 2x4 base?
Yh 😊
excellent boys , just couldnt follow the last bit where you were screwing in the last plank. I couldnt understand how you got the last line of screws in!!
We face fixed with colour coded screws due to the design we chose 😊😊
Dats a noice boedar.
👍🏻
What led up lighters are you using?
Looking very impressive. 👌
What 2 colours did you use from Envirobuild?
Silver birch and charcoal I believe
@@homeimprovements i can't see charcoal on their website, was it not silver birch and stone?
What colours did you use please and where did you get the decking from ?
They said Envirobuild
Does the decking tape prevent the hidden fixed boards from creeping in the heat, ie closing the gap between cuts etc? Ive seen an example of composite decking before and the boards always move no matter how much tension the screwed fixing put on them.
What was the countersink drill bit you used, diameter etc?
3mm bit in a trend counter sink 😊
@@homeimprovements Is this correct as the colored screws are 4mm so there isn't any wiggle room like in the video
What is the colour of the cladding on the garden room?
Birch I believe 😊
Class job lads🔨
Thanks mate 💪🏼
Changing the subject from the video, I have a question about the concrete blocks utilized for support. How can I ensure that they are all level when laying them?
We used a spirit level from block to block 😁
@@homeimprovements Thank you, didn't realize it can be done that easily as well. :)
What is under those concrete blocks?
What wire did you use for lights ? 🤔
It was a 12v supplied kit which plugged into an existing socket 👍🏻
Amazing ❤ loving the dance Bradley 🕺. Great to see others like dave joining your videos love how you support others
🤣🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great video but can't understand why the fence wasn't painted 1st before that buetiful decking was laid 😂
🤣 not my fence though planning on covering it up mines the perfectly straight level one 🙈
Hope you removed all those timber off-cuts below the decking. Nice breeding place for wet rot/dry rot development.
Hello there, ive been watching your video and i notice while you guys explaining your body movements is like doing RAP music show
👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥
Yes mate 💪🏼💪🏼
WHere there decking lights installed on th border before installation
That dude in the black hat needs to settle down....😂😂
That join in the darker grey board in the doorway would annoy the 💩 out of me! Otherwise great job.
Had to have a join due to length and there all doors so placement would land in door regardless 🙈
Why haven't you left an expansion gap where the mitres meet?
They get on your nerves
So don’t watch
Just get rid of the decking it’s a haven for rats and gives them access to your house footings. Once they’re in you’re cavity you’re in trouble!
Personal Protective Equipment Missing!!!
And if I was the customer the first thing I would say is pull it back up I would want even piece at both ends not a full board at one end then a sliver as you walk out thas a rookie move and these guys should know to have at least measured the internal area and predict the end gap
Yep, dodgy as
