I will say that anyone planning on applying to Home Bargains, brush up on your corporate awareness, the first question in my interview was "What do you know about the company?". After giving statistics and data (who founded it, number of stores, number of employees, mission statements, nationwide rankings etc) the interviewer said it was on one of the best responses to that question she had. There were 2 positions available and about 70 applications and my induction is next week so info like that is a must know. Body language plays a huge part as well, maintain eye contact and smile/look enthusiastic. They're looking for personality more so over merit. Anyone can work in retail hypothetically, it's not necessarily a difficult job but you represent the face of the company and interact with customers first hand so their perception of your character is something they likely look at.
Did you have good body language, maintain eye contact, and just be confident overall? also I feel like saying you are flexible with your hours is also good.
In the past I have had had work experience on working in a cafe and have done other work experiences at Sainsbury's and Spar. I think did work experiences for Wilko for 2 years, this was run by the college at the time. Wilko offered me a temporary weekend job. When the temporary finish they too me on. I did find to so hard getting to work on a Sunday so they move my day, now am thinking of leaving and finding a much more better job, my Wilko is not the same how it used to me. I have been looking on indeed and there quite a lot that take more hours of work at thr one I am with now.
Yo my brother Wanted to ask you how long they took you to send an interview email after submitting the application I applied to Home Bargains yesterday so wanted to ask you as you’ve already been to the interview Thanks
😂😂 yeah glad I got rejected now I'm self employed and life is more flexible so hopefully I may make a video on self employment in the future. But yeah I been through the Hell 😅
100% . The managers will give some unattainable targets and will compel to extend your shift. You have to spend 6 hrs for a 4 hours shift daily. Racism is very apparent. They mostly target the Asian people. It is nasty. Don’t provide any training.
Haha yes hopefully I desire a office work to be fair its quite me Recently I have been working in Sainsburys through an agency and have had multiple interviews but to no avail. Harsh times,Harsh times. But I won't give up.
I didn't get to the induction stage so I'm unsure. Right now though I've got an interview as a waiter so stay tuned for a video on if I'm successful or not with that

Rejected from Home Bargains? Count your blessings. Those racist, bullying scumbags will make your life hell.

I didn't have that bad of an experience there but the rota system is crap and they expect for it to take over your life.
