Most all star NBA players wanna be the best. They wanna be like Jordan. They wanna win and they wanna help their team win. Their mindset is they wanna beat their defender.
I think LeBron is in a different state of mind. He's a master of metacognition. It's like he's on a journey, he's playing a game and he knows it's a game. He has a certain on court awareness. People are watching and LeBron James knows he can do something special. LeBron sees the big picture, he's obsessed with life and meaning, not winning, and while basketball the game is not a form of art, LeBron James playing basketball is art. I feel blessed to walk the Earth with King James the living legend, I feel blessed to even share his last name as my first. He's the greatest player of all time, for the dunks, rings, press conferences, thoughts, and stories. Lonzo has all that same potential, just not the same skills. This year's NBA is gonna be epic to watch
