I wish they implemented some form of bluetooth, solely for the purpose of tone studio. So I can use my phone instead of always connecting to a computer! This missed opportunity of convenience would save me from blowing my brains out from having to deal with slow ass windows 10 ☠️ R.I.P
There's an unofficial amp called the Katana Librarian on Android (maybe iOS, but not sure). It does everything you can on the PC software. You just need a USB OTG (on the go) adapter.
I'll probably give it a try. I prefer a vintage or tube clean with a little reverb sound, but for the lower volumes I would be using this for in my home I think it'll work out great. I already have a small SS amp and a 15 watt tube, this will be nice to play around with. Speaker seems pretty good on the artist.
Hope Roland/Boss doesn't abandon higher-market amps like the Blues Cube series. The Fender Tonemaster amps pretty much equaled them, but I'm sure Roland/Boss can put out something even better and just as portable as say, the Tonemaster Deluxe.
Check out the "In the Blues" YT channel. He compares the BOSS Nextone to the Fender TM Twin, with opinions favoring BOSS. The crazy part is it's a 1x12 vs 2x12 so you would think the Fender had the advantage with two speakers!
All those lovely upgrades and they still can’t fix the horrible thin, harsh, squeaky, lifeless sound, digital scmidgital, and I,ve tryed a few.. but theres no comparison to a real good tube amp thru an equally good cabinet, especially at high volume.. … great for the bedroom for the wannabes but useless on a real stage with a band , but I have to ad I've only tryed the 2x12 combo and it does sound good straight in my recording software.. maybe the head sounds better into a sealed 2x12 or 4x12 ?
@@skeevybastid689 you can get various used marshall, vox, blackstar, bugera and peavey valve amps with a few pedals for this price too. You can get a vox ac15, marshall dsl40, many different blackstar amps, and pretty much any peavey or bugera valve amp ever made 😆 for this price. What's wrong with used gear? Most of it never left the home of the person who bought it and just sat in a basement, garage or "home studio" and it's pretty much mint or very good in condition. Oh and they don't sound like bland shit too.
Bedroom level playing can't take advantage of the beauty of tubes without an expensive OX or similar, so this in my mind provides quality sounds for that environment. Yes, it's painful to think of what you can get for the $$$ so that's why you always get both!
Always that snob who shits on solid state or and or cheaper guitars even though many solid state amps and 200-500 dollar guitars are pretty good. Gotta marshall with a jensen speaker thrown into it. Sounds amazing. Solid state. Got the artist older model. It rocks! That waza speaker is boss lol. Sounds great. Solid state. Fender Princeton. Got a cream back in there. Sounds epic. Got a fender twin reverb. It's bad ass just like the solid state amps. Annoying how you have to change the tubes from time to time and wait for the damn thing to warm up for a minute or two before it sounds good but whatever... Got a gretsch rancher made in like indonesia or some shit. About a 300 dollar acoustic guitar that's actually really friggin good. And any idiot knows that a crappy cheap guitar can be made to play well with a few tools and maybe add on parts like new pick ups, bridges, or tuners. Oh... And name me one tube amp with all these specs, features, and details at this price? Ohhh that's right you can't lol. Get lost butt rocker lololol.
@@sixslinger9951 I’m considering getting one of the katanas. How do these do for home use at bedroom type volumes? I tend to play with overdriven sound, not unlike what the guy was doing in this video. Does it sound pretty good on the .5 watt setting at low volumes?

this was a year ago, did you ever get one?
So, how long did it take before you sold all your tube amps after getting your patches dialed in? Lol
Wish they would have installed a third concentric knob in the effects section to control a noise gate.
Me too, but it's fine for me because I already have a noise gate. I like the pedal better than the built in noise gate anyways.
Boss is recruiting demo guitarists.
Criteria: named Austin
maybe he'll be from boston
I want to know what finish is on that Les Paul!!!!! Is it tobacco burst? Anyone know?

A guitar amp shouldn’t need a software flash, it should need new tubes.
Build a time machine and go back to 2000 then.
