Tuning is such a fine art and it's definitely something that isn't practiced enough. This all sounded great my man. Keep pushing the boundaries of your own creativity. Never stop!
I'm blown away by the terrific craftsmanship and sound of this snare drum! I'll be giving you a ring to discuss further! Sincerely, Dan V. from Duluth, MN
My goodness! I've never been more impressed than I am today after hearing this Off Beat snare drum. Don't tell anyone I've been playing since I was a little kid and I'm a young 61 years old. Terrific work. Thanks for your dedication to true craftsmanship. I'll be giving you a ring to discuss further! Sincerely, Dan Vaught Duluth, MN

@@stevenhight5036 Sorry I didn't see your reply so this is a really late response! I buy my reinforcing rings from Precision Drum Co., where they are cut down from Keller shells.
@@stevenhight5036 I really appreciate that man! There are some more demos like this one in the works! Also go check out James Knoerl's channel he's got a 14x6.5" snare and uses it in quite a few of his latest videos and drum covers.

That snare sounds amazing. Quick question, what types of heads did you use for this drum?
Thank you so much! The batter head is an Evans Power Center Reverse Dot Coated and the snare head is a 300 medium.
Another question man. Where did you putchase the reinforcement rings for the snare?

Thanks so much for the heads up. I hope to see more videos of your snare builds because your drums sound amazing.
