@@HistoryandReviews The character isn’t though. It’s the writers who are just copying from past success. I give it another month before Marvel comes out and admits that they are finding new writers for Avengers Kang Dynasty.
I agree, what was great about superhero movies and you could even throw Star Wars into the mix is they felt like an event but now there so many comic book and Star Wars movies or shows. Having a piece a cake from time to time is great but I don't want cake every night. The genre has been driven into the ground.
@PiffMasterG The film is just written by cartoon writers and it shows. They don't even understand that the reason that Scott came back after 5 years was simply that the Quantum Tunnel was turned off when the snap happened, and left in storage. All the rat did was turn it back on. In other words if Cassie had interest in Quantum physics she would have gotten the Quantum Tunnel out of storage. Endgame is actually based on the idea that *Cassie thought Scott was snapped* - no one - no one was looking for him in the Quantum Realm. The writers can't even keep track of that.
I think the time jump, blip, & time travel via the quantum realm in Endgame really hurt the MCU Franchese. Plus, the nanotech helmets removed a lot of the fun of putting on and removing masks.
It’s cool to have happy ending which endgames ending is on a paper a happy and good ending. It’s hard to try and force to pick up after a ending that’s literally a ending to a franchise.
@@ChewbaccaSooound It was actually first shown with Star Lord’s mask. Would’ve been cool if it stuck there, maybe even with Iron Man since he’s completely tech based, but now everyone has those masks.
They had the Pym particles, they could had left whenever they wanted. Janet could had left whenever she wanted. When Yellowjacket got shrunk down there, Kang could had used his particles and made a drone or something to get his core back. Also, Kang planned on taking his army with him out of the quantum realm, but are they all microscopic natives of the quantum realm? Hell, it was funny to me that the natives were attacking Kang at the end to reclaim their home… when he was just about to leave! There are more things, but those are the biggest ones.
The film is just so frustratingly stupid, that it is *annoying* to listen to "I don't get it, what's wrong" The whole idea of Janet wussing around with a evil destroyer of entire Universes in the Quantum Realm but - *not mentioning it.* You know what...ima stop there. I'm out. Not worth ranting over the rest. Plot is bullshix, learn how to write. Kevin Feige get better writers or else.... *live long enough to become the villain.*
I have no interest in this movie and I'm not surprised it's bad because the first 2 were pretty lame to be honest. People keep supporting these movies, but Endgame was the ending and the whole comic book movie/show genre in general has been milked. The cow is dead and it's a rotting corpse.
I skipped this movie and caught a re-releae of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". Based on what I've heard, I made the right choice. And speaking of James Cameron, you can use Terminator 2 as an example of how to balance CGI and practical effects. They had to use CGI to show the T-1000 to reform from damage, but when it holds on the damage it suffered, that was all built by hand. Truly amazing work!
Ant man quantumania is good as long as you go into it expecting an ant man film. Too many people saw khang and expected this to be an Avenger movie. Ant man movies have always been a lot of comedy, a little bit of action, and a bunch of made-up science. It definitely wasn't a perfect movie, but most of people critics doesn't seem to remember the first two movies
@@loowyatt6463 based on what I've heard, I think the opposite is more accurate. People were going in expecting an Ant-Man movie but Marvel tried turning this into a bigger movie. I've heard people call Quantamania the Marvel version of Star Wars that couldn't quite stick the landing, even saying it couldn't pull off the more dramatic stuff it was trying. I think people want this to be like the previous 2 Ant-Man films but Marvel was trying and make it do much more than it can handle. This is just based on what I've heard tho
@Dr. Cinema From what I've heard of this review and from many people, they were expecting an emotional dramatic movie. Which just isn't ant man, it has some emotion, but those parts always are filled with jokes. For example, in the first ant man, Hank is telling his daughter about how their mother dies, a very emotional part of the story, and ant man ruins the moment. That's literally the whole ant man thing, plots with some emotional but all jokes. That said, khang was too important of a villain to be in this movie, and they made him seem almost weak.
@@loowyatt6463 I can't really speak to what the general audiences are expecting. All I can confirm is based on the critics I do follow, they were expecting it to be lighter like the other 2 Ant Man films but this one tried to be more and couldn't pull it off Either way, this didn't meet a lot of peoples expectations
Yeah Janet was really pissing me off in this movie I was like oh my God lady would you speak up and tell your family what the hell is going on 🤦, also for real Michelle Pfeiffer is still gorgeous at her age and she is a woman decades older than me but the whole time I'm watching it I'm like wow this woman is stunning !
The more interesting question to me is why anyone would like this, since most reviewers don't. Realize that this film now has 163 bad reviews. Everything from Wall Street Journal, to New York Magazine to BBC. Good God - ABC is owned by Disney and *used* to promote MCU films and STILL their critic trashed this *awful* film. Here is my conclusion... There are many people who actually like bad comic books and cartoons. AntMan 3 has all the attributes of a bad comic book. It has none of the attributes of cinema. That's why the cinema critics hate it, whereas some comic book fans like it. The film has 1 dimensional characters, juvenile jokes, corny dialogue, and cheesy FX. The story telling is done at a child psychology level. Meaning all the adult characters behave the way that little children would. Janet - who refused to tell anyone anything that happened to her because she was embarrassed or ashamed. Hank - who let his daughter engage in dangerous experiments with no safety considerations. Kang - a spoilt brat locked in his room {quantum realm}, and crying because he can't get out. He will wreak havoc! And vengeance!!! If he does. lol. [whatever you say Dr. Evil!!] *The film is intentionally designed to appeal to the 7 year old child mind* in the audience members. [however old they may be] The plot structure is bad comic book 101: *Hero punch villain, villain punch back...until...hero punch villain...villain stop punching back.* THE END. The film is designed to appeal to child's need for junk food. That is - familiar tastes that are valued precisely because it does not deviate. When this film is over - nothing has happened. There are no stakes, consequences, or ideas at play. It simply returns you to where you began - like a bad comic book or cartoon. To be repeated ad nausea until, well...until the child tummy aches and starts vomiting it back. Have you ever seen the cartoon parody: *Pinky and the Brain?* Every episode ends the same way - as a joke that makes fun of movies and comics like Antman 3: Pinky: _What are we going to do tomorrow Brain?_ Brain: _The SAME THING we do every day Pinky - > TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!_ MODOK is evil minion PINKY. KANG is the brain. Of course a part of the joke is that the "brain" is really an egotistical idiot, who just needs to believe he's smart. lol. Well that's what they did in this film to Kang. My point is - if bad comic books are what you like then Antman 3 is probably the *best* MCU film ever made. Endgame is probably the worst - its all stakes and consequences, and psychology, and philosophy. You have to think about it, and if you aren't into that..,.you *won't* get it. Worst of all, it has characters who fail, grow old, and even die. It changes the story telling Universe in ways that can't be undone. In short -> *Everything you hate.* [also known as CINEMA] Quantum-Meh is a film for children - and children only, as it makes a grown person wonder why they waste their time on something so unrelentingly childish and immature as the MCU.
They really wrote Kang to get mobbed by Ants then lose to Ant-Man & the Wasp. Let that sink in bruh. In what multiverse is Kang losing to Ant-Man & the Wasp?!!
MCU worked before cause was less pretentious, they made movies with a dream and passion, talented people with a goal. Today is like a machine, total CW18 shows, Honestly dont care anymore.
I freakin love this guy! I tend to agree alot with his critiques but have trouble putting it in words.. keep it up Adam, simply one of, if not the best reviewer!
Hey Adam! I think you communicated this well: Just like there is good acting and bad acting, there is good CG and bad CG. Props to you for giving some small credit to the CG artists in the original Jurassic Park. That was not just an amazing film, but a breakthrough in CG vfx for the time. As you pointed out, it was used tastefully. When CG is used as the tool it's meant to be, it can greatly enhance films. In fact, some of the best CG effects in today's films are assumed to be live action. It's actually difficult for the CG artists! When it's bad, it's like: "Oh that's CG. CG sucks." But when the CG is good, everyone says: "Wow, props to this director for using so much live action." 🤦♂ Like you said; the mere use of CG does not make a film bad. It's how it's used. And how does modern MCU use it? They use it as a crutch to produce more, faster. And the workload they impose on VFX houses is unreal. It's wrong. There's a reason their CGI is slipping, and it's not because the artist's are terrible. It's because their management of everything, and their attempt to take over the world with the amount of content they're making is just too much, too fast.
Btw: I've been railing against the idiot plot driving No Way Home since its 1st release. Don't let the Spidey Fans BS you about this one, that film is ridiculous from opening shot to final shot and symptom of the dumbing down of the MCU.
I feel like had they mixed practical sets with some high-quality CG it would've been a much more visually appealing experience. And I loved "make it 90 minutes...let's get in and outta here""🤣
There was a time when I used to be hyped about a new Marvel film, now I can't even be bothered to get emotionally invested anymore in what they put out. The drastic drop off in quality has been sad to witness.
Literally in the middle of a twitter spat with some twitwit arguing that “We don’t know how air works in the MCU. So it doesn’t matter that it’s never explained how Scott breathes despite being literally smaller than air” …I sh** you not 😑
Of all of the valid criticisms of this movie and the recent MCU films in general, this one aint it bro lmfao. Thats just forgiveable comic book logic, like any of the other magical mustical shit that happens
@@devonofficial1699 How is it not valid? Literally the entire point of the suit in the comics (and even the original movie) was that it fed him air….Now he doesn’t wear his helmet. Not to mention, this is by no means the only problem I have with the movie - it should be the most obvious tho.
@@ministryofwrongthink6962 sheeeeitt i stand corrected, but to be fair again, Antman already breaks its own logic with the maintaining of the strength and shit when little, so its still forgiveable to me. Theres only so much real world science you can apply to fantasy based films
Aside from the massive plot whole about Janet never telling anyone about the inhabitants of the Quantum Realm and meeting Kang theres another just as equally massive plot hole. Scott Lang was stuck in the Quantum Realm for 5 hours during the 5 years after the Blip, you mean to tell me in 5 hours he never once saw any of the inhabitants🤪
Everything I’ve been saying for the last few years you’re saying. Instant subscription. My biggest problem with the new MCU is nothing means anything . Bunch of shit gets blown up, they tease that something awful is going to happen and nothing actually happens. This whole movie was for what? The progression of Cassie? She was unlikeable the entire movie. And that point you hit on about these movies and shows are sort of filler teasing us about an upcoming project. Just a big ball of nothing. Love the channel! Keep it up
It should be a mixture of both practical and cgi effects. David Fincher uses cgi in a lot of his movies and it is very hard to see it because it is added in with practical stuff already there.
I actually got to work on this movie as a VFX Editor at my last studio. Marvel is really a hit or miss tbh, but then again so is Disney. Im really not going to watch this film, but im glad to see your review on it.
Really? That’s cool! What did you do, were you there the whole time, or for certain sections? Also, why do you consider it a hit or miss? Just wanna get a personal perspective, hope that’s not too much.
So apparently a movie about ANTMAN isn’t about ANTMAN because Cassie somehow was building Pimms technology during the blip? And she hated her dad even though ANTMAN saved the world? Multiple times? I love character assassination….
each scene of the movie was screaming "HEY hurry so we can get to the end of the movie so the audience would be excited for the next product, uh, I mean rushed through movie"
I agree with you 1000%% everything in this film was meh, the story the special effects and even Major's Kang, who keeps getting hyped up. It getting harder to look forward to the next Marvel they are not doing anything exciting anymore.
Ha, brilliant take. I can live with iffy special effects but just can’t understand a nonsensical script… unfortunately this seems to be the norm more than the exception atm. So frustrating, just no “care factor” anymore!
Johnathan Mayers did and incredible job but having kang getting beat by antman lower his threat in the mcu. The quantiuam realm was boring. They should have built practical sets like black panther movies. The whole Janet kept a secret from her family about kang is stupid. Kang should have been in guardians or the marvels. Antman 3 should have used modok and aim
12:40 As long as MCU is written by Rick and Morty writers I guarantee you each new film will create retroactive plot holes in the original films. This starts out as incompetence but as more and more people complain about it - it turns into spite. That's human nature and also writing as a competitive endeavor. Kevin Feige will rue the day - he cast his seeds onto the wind -with Rick and Morty.
I can’t believe we have so many genius teenagers in every corner of the MCU and none of them are boys. Adam, the quality of a movie is irrelevant. We are just here to see the preview of the next installment.
Marvel's CG has been bad since Black Panther. And I'm not just talking about the final fight scene. I'm talking about when M'Baku challenges T'Challa for leadership of Wakanda and you see all the people standing in front of the waterfall and you can clearly see the outline of where the actors were superimposed onto the scenery. God, that looked awful.
Didn't, uh... Didn't Hank Pym get blipped? How would he have even taught Cassie anything? Do these writers even keep track anymore?? I know I certainly don't keep track, so if I'm wrong, let me know. 😅
I love this channel. I have needs too. I need you to do more videos. When I watch your channel, I feel like I am literally listening to my brother or my oldest cousin rap back and forth about the mcu.
Remember when people were excited that marvel studios was finally gonna make a fantastic 4 movie? Yeah, i keep thinking all the ways they could fumble. Wrong Casting will be the first sign
How the mighty have fallen. Between this and Thor 4, and even looking at No Way Home without the Tobey and Andrew hype goggles, the writing has been total dogshit. So so so disappointing and I have no idea how they’ve gotten so bad.
Adam, Cassie is the worst character introduced in my opinion. She is worst than Taskmaster from black widow and worst than MarVell from Captain Marvel. My 11 year old son could not stand her. He was saying why is she treating her dad that way? I would never. I'd be happy if she was never put in any other marvel show. All we need is an Antifa stand in while watching these movies.
they could’ve incorporated the ant man crew so easily. all you had to do was jus have them as a mission control guy in the chair type thing like ned for scott and everyone in the quantum realm. and then maybe change the second act where hank and janet are trying to guide luis and them to build a machine to get them out of the quantum realm, but once they get it working they’re all captured by kang. and then when they do the interrogation scene with scott, you can have luis there where he does another story scene where maybe he talks about their universe and everything that happened up until that point. i really don’t know how they couldn’t figure out how to write them in.
I so agree with this review Adam. I only liked Kang and can agree the 2nd credit scene was better then the first. I’m holding out for guardians. If that’s not good then I think I lost faith in the MCU. Also every time MODAK appeared I felt like I was watching Shark boy and lava girl CG
When they all got pulled in wearing street clothes, how did they get their suits? No I haven't seen the movie yet, but spoilers really never affect my movie experience unless it's a sixth sense ending type thing.
@@AdamDoesMovies LOL, of course they are, I'm shocked I didn't assume that. Iron Heart has a suit, All the wakanda guards have suits, Cassie can build a quantum phone, WTF is going on!? Thanks for all the great content!
I think people truly want to believe in their heads that Jonathan Majors is this awesome actor. What a lot of people don’t know if he’s a new actor, relatively green. he started acting later in life. in an interview, he said he started acting about five years ago. When I saw Loki season one, I was completely blown away, and then I was a little bit disappointed when I saw he who remains… I’m a big marvel fan but I didn’t know who Kang was. Kang is pretty simplistic. He is a time traveler that wants to conquer. what villain doesn’t want to conquer the word & now the vast multiverse? If you want me to believe in this villain, he needs to be more complex than just a conqueror. So where do I begin with Ant-man quantum mania? I loved all the ant Man films, they’re lighthearted, corky, funny and uplifting. Who doesn’t love an underdog story? In Ant-man Quantamania, there are times where jokes are funny, and their times where jokes are inappropriate at inappropriate times when things are supposed to be more serious. You have Hank’s wife Janet, who is terrified of the quantum realm yet an ant man, too. She was totally fine with Scott Lang going into the quantum realm before they blipped.. Fast forward to Ant-man quantum mania Janet is completely terrified of the quantum realm, she doesn’t want to talk about the quantum realm or what she has been through. To make a long story short, Janet talks about how horrific Kang the conqueror is, once they go to the quantum realm. Everyone that lives there talks the big talk about how scary and conniving Kang is. Finally, when we get to meet Kang the conquer At first, he is very serious, and he does seem like somewhat of a threat. He has high technology and can kill you with just conjuring his hands. It took kAng 50 minutes to show up. Fast forward to the battles with Kang to get out of the quantum realm without him he is EASILY defeated. If a whole bunch of ants & Ant Man can defeat him how is he a threat? His powers where inconsistent, at first, he seemed very powerful, and then at the end his powers were very ineffective. You could tell Jonathan Majors was trying his very best at what he was given, but I feel the writers were a tad bit lazy. In this movie, they explain things to you, but they don’t show you. Murdoch is in this film yellow jacket from first Ant Man Kang uses him as the “ultimate killing machine” he’s a big floating head with baby arms and baby legs. The fact that Kang can be around something so stupid makes me less intrigued by him. Remember, Thor love and thunder? It felt like a parody of Thor.. Where is Thor was just one big joke? Then you have an awesome actor like Christian Bale that has a very dark and complex character that you want to enjoy and love, but doesn’t fit in the movie because it’s a silly parody? That’s what happens in this film. Don’t get me wrong I like Jonathan Majors, but the introduction of Kang has fumbled twice. He was easily killed in Loki & easily defeated in Ant man. & we are supposed to be scared of him In loki season 2? Secret wars? Kang dynasty? Come on. I guess if you shut your brain off and you grabbed some popcorn and didn’t think too hard I can see how this movie is enjoyable for some people, but I’ve always loved marvel and their amazing story telling, and their story arcs that all beautifully intertwine with one another. This was a very weak and strange way to kick off phase 5. END CREDIT SCENES So when someone tells you that there’s an end credit scene with a council of Kangs it sounds cool right? When I first saw it, I was in disbelief, you have Jonathan Majors playing king tut kang, scarlet cyborg Kang and I forgot the other kang he had cheap blue paint on his face and sounded like he smoked 20 packs of newports a day. Then you see a trillion other kangs come to the council of Kangs from every possible multiverse and they’re all howling like monkeys from planet of the apes! It felt like an SNL sketch rather than something that is supposed to instill fear into our hearts. Kevin you don’t give Rick & morty writers the keys to the kingdom of the multiverse saga
Big trouble in little china Kang is what he looked like to me in the end credits since he had a similar look to Lo Pan.. the council of kangs being a comic book thing but most people think of Rick and Morty when they see it first made it seem more rediculous when it needed to be serious to set Kang up as some kind of threat.. Like you said we've seen Kang twice now and he's been defeated both times making him look like less of a threat.. especially with the council nonsense which makes it look like they can just use Kang as the villain in almost every movie because they always have a new Kang that is more evil than the last one for whoever the movie is for to defeat.. avengers Kang dynasty will be interesting considering it's still two years away and they still have to actually build a story or character that isn't a rushed mess with cgi trying to fill in the gaps the lazy writing opens up in every movie now. Avengers we wuz kangz... Or avengers Kang bang would work as alternatives for Kang dynasty which sounds like a Chinese restaurant...
@@c.a.t4607 yeah, I couldn’t agree more. I don’t know if the golden era of marvel is over or what. I love Paul Rudd, and I loved Ant-man one in Ant-man two, but he’s a b list avenger. It took all of the avengers plus more to take out Thanos in infinity war and it still didn’t work. Everyone told me in any man quantum Lamia that THIS WAS THE KANG THE CONQUEROR. He’s so dangerous he got exiled by the other Kangs. I don’t need a 1,000 kangs from every multiverse all I need is ONE ☝️ that poses a threat. Mobious said it best in the end credit scene with Loki “your really scared of this guy?” Not only was Kang a huge disappointment… again. The movie was just horrible through & through. Phase 1-3 there where no bad marvel films they were bullet proof and reliable, Tapping into time travel and multiverse Is already confusing and now everyone has to watch Disney plus shows to understand. I think marvel needs some competition. DC better step up it’s game!
This was everything, love your work Adam! Ant Man 3 was barely even interesting, green screen issues aside. I even got annoyed by Paul Rudd in this film and that should never happen!
Man its over!!! These movies have been ass for a minute!! They made all the money so the hunger is gone!! Fanboys go keep watching without critique so they go keep making them🤷🏾♂️
Marvel hasn't provided a single solid product after Endgame. It' been 5 movies and a bunch of TV stuff. It's pretty clear what's going on here. Disney had a good story to tell, it did, and Disney knows it did. It's clearly waiting for the next big trend. But Disney is a business with stock holders so it needs to keep spitting out products for profit.
Most 6/10 film I've seen in a long time, modok was an absolute joke, was quite an imposing character until that visor kept coming down to reveal the grinning horrorshow underneath. I've seen the film and a few reviews, the one point nobody seems to be talking about are Kangs motivations, which weren't very well explained but I thought the part where he came across most Thanos-esque was the most interesting part, talking about "skipping to the end" seeing his variants causing countless incursions and having to conquer and control them to stop them, it was glazed over in one reply of "you're evil and don't care about anyone" but for that one scene, and the part where he opens the portal to earth, there was hope.
Watched the 3rd antman movie....I couldn't put my finger on it, but was chatting with My wife on what I thought abt it. And it took me a while before i figured it out. The humor just wasn't there like in the first one. I could go to the first one and simply laugh. This wasn't one of those movies. It had humor in it, but I just didn't enjoy it like I did the first one. Maybe I'm burnt out on superhero movies. Idk. This movie wasn't bad, I'd urge anyone to go see it and come to their own conclusion, but for me, it was an OK movie. I could watch the 1st antman over and over, this one, I doubt I will. Like most things in this new phase of marvel, it's very forgettable
The last few Marvel films have been really bad but yet they still make 800k+, Thor L&T was terrible, Wakanda forever was boring and found Dr Strange 2 mediocre and won't be watching Ant man 3, It's getting like the Transformers films

Marvel missed a golden opportunity. They could have introduced the Micronauts (like Guardians of the Galaxy on a sub-atomic level) in this movie. Oh well, these movies have becoming too comedic for me.
By all accounts (even the most negative reviews) Majors' Kang is given big props, given that this is all a lead up to him being the next Thanos I'd hardly call it a total failure...
I felt like I was watching a live action version of Rick and Morty. And it explains it, after I just realised the writer is a writer on Rick and Morty. Lol ….it’s a filler movie, slightly entertaining. I used to have fun having discussions about characters and their arcs. Now it’s tiring because the story is lazy. I think they forgot about Hank and Hope in the movie until the end when they did something. 😂
Kang should’ve been written better. Jonathan Majors cared more about the material more than Disney. Its like Christian Bale in Thor Love and Thunder. Trash movie, but he cared enough to do something with the trash they gave him.
This was a story about family losing time and catching up; family secrets. The story was about JANET PYM. everything else was an introduction to a new world. It was a necessary story. Cassie was awesome. She's a teenager and she did look up to her dad..she learned Quantum tech to support exploring the quantum world.
Wait, what about when they are all riding the giant Flying Manta Ray! Whizzing through the air, zigging zagging diving etc and they are all just standing straight up like they are on the sidewalk. No loss of balance, no correcting for angle, just awful.
You just saved me 2 hours and 20 bucks and were probably most entertaining. I never cared you were a green screen guy. As long as I love the UA-camr I don't care about pretty background to be honest.
There was also a large amount of profanity in this one I was a bit concerned about. Watching at home I was imagining a bunch of young kids walking out of the theater yelling "IM NOT A DICK" but you know I'm sure the parents got a big laugh just not a good image in my head or house.
I don't mind others thoughts. I actually agree with a lot of the complaints, but I still really enjoyed this movie. Maybe I have a low bar, but I feel like not having screaming goats throughout the entire movie really helped my enjoyment factor. Best line in the movie, "It's never too late to stop being a dick." I took that one especially to heart.
Spoilers: Kang is a hidden villain who survives -- his mind is his power. Powers take energy so he can't use it nilly-willy. Casey was awesome (fav part was that MODOK conversation dick exchange) the mom was flat acting. At the q level it can look to be anything. Redemption via stopping Kang Overpop & Ant-Man Multi-Overpop aligning briefly to save Casey then the AM Overpop thankfully disappears. Maybe actor salary (Ghostbuster) = high cost (luved the cameo still).

@Instagram & Twerk Show naw, nanotechnology wasn't a thing until blk panther/ant man3.
@Instagram & Twerk Show That’s not true. It’s a relatively recent addition.
@@ChewbaccaSooound It was actually first shown with Star Lord’s mask. Would’ve been cool if it stuck there, maybe even with Iron Man since he’s completely tech based, but now everyone has those masks.
Endgame onwards has just become complete nonsense - none of the timeline makes any sense at all
They had the Pym particles, they could had left whenever they wanted.
The film is just so frustratingly stupid, that it is *annoying* to listen to "I don't get it, what's wrong"
The whole idea of Janet wussing around with a evil destroyer of entire Universes in the Quantum Realm but - *not mentioning it.*
You know what...ima stop there. I'm out. Not worth ranting over the rest. Plot is bullshix, learn how to write. Kevin Feige get better writers or else.... *live long enough to become the villain.*
🙌🏾facts. I dint even think about that. Don't forget the ants...THE ANTS
pym particles don't take you out of the quantum realm.
@@summertyme5748 Janet didn't talk about it bc why would you talk about cheating with your husband? this was realistic.
@@musicpatron1693 Scott went to the quantum realm at the end of Antman 1 to defeat Yellowjacket, and he saw Janet down there.

I’m an MCU fan.
You spoke the gospel truth.
Preach it, Brother.
I’m gonna watch this while washing my huge pile of dishes 🧫🚰
I do that a lot with these kind of videos. Lol
I have no interest in this movie and I'm not surprised it's bad because the first 2 were pretty lame to be honest. People keep supporting these movies, but Endgame was the ending and the whole comic book movie/show genre in general has been milked. The cow is dead and it's a rotting corpse.
They about to mess that blade movie up so bad I can feel it
Blade: "The vampire is right behind me isnt he?"
@@pr0fess0rbadass 😂 i will walk out the theater if that line happens
Omg for sure. 🤦🏾♀️ I hope that Snipes stays away from it but you know... People got bills to pay and D*sn*y is giving away money.
You made the right choice bro! Yesterday I watch spriggan from 1998 and it was way better the Ant-Man movie.
All I can confirm is based on the critics I do follow, they were expecting it to be lighter like the other 2 Ant Man films but this one tried to be more and couldn't pull it off
Either way, this didn't meet a lot of peoples expectations
Yeah Janet was really pissing me off in this movie I was like oh my God lady would you speak up and tell your family what the hell is going on 🤦, also for real Michelle Pfeiffer is still gorgeous at her age and she is a woman decades older than me but the whole time I'm watching it I'm like wow this woman is stunning !
Yes, but her upper lip doesn't move anymore, so it made it extra awkward in her flashbacks when she was digitally de-aged.
@@jasonkonas yeah the de-aging in her scenes did look really arkward
Evil!!]
*The film is intentionally designed to appeal to the 7 year old child mind* in the audience members. [however old they may be]
The plot structure is bad comic book 101: *Hero punch villain, villain punch back...until...hero punch villain...villain stop punching back.* THE END.
Have you ever seen the cartoon parody: *Pinky and the Brain?*
Every episode ends the same way - as a joke that makes fun of movies and comics like Antman 3:
Pinky: _What are we going to do tomorrow Brain?_
Brain: _The SAME THING we do every day Pinky - > TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!_
MODOK is evil minion PINKY.
In short -> *Everything you hate.* [also known as CINEMA]
Quantum-Meh is a film for children - and children only, as it makes a grown person wonder why they waste their time on something so unrelentingly childish and immature as the MCU.
This is too long but what I read was smart.
Am I the only one that was hoping Kang killed ant man's daughter
When it's bad, it's like:
"Oh that's CG. CG sucks."
But when the CG is good, everyone says:
"Wow, props to this director for using so much live action." 🤦♂
Like you said; the mere use of CG does not make a film bad.
First!! Whooooo!
Click everytime he posts. How can you not support this guy?
Btw: I've been railing against the idiot plot driving No Way Home since its 1st release.
Don't let the Spidey Fans BS you about this one, that film is ridiculous from opening shot to final shot and symptom of the dumbing down of the MCU.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel like had they mixed practical sets with some high-quality CG it would've been a much more visually appealing experience.
And I loved "make it 90 minutes...let's get in and outta here""🤣
How can anyone be psyched for Doom, FF and The X men at this point.
There was a time when I used to be hyped about a new Marvel film, now I can't even be bothered to get emotionally invested anymore in what they put out. The drastic drop off in quality has been sad to witness.
Your so right about the over use of CGI
Literally in the middle of a twitter spat with some twitwit arguing that
“We don’t know how air works in the MCU. So it doesn’t matter that it’s never explained how Scott breathes despite being literally smaller than air”
…I sh** you not 😑
Also, aren’t they at the smallest point? How do they get even smaller?

This was such a massive LETDOWN and that's coming from a pretty big fan of the previous "Ant-Man" movies. Yeah, this one stung....
I found this film to be better made than the first two Ant-Man films. What made it disappoint you?
Don't ask questions. Just consume product and then get excited for next product.
Keep it up
Right on! Thanks for subbing!
You can definitely do it with practical effects. There’s always a way. They did it for 50 years.
If the respective VFX Editor that work on this movie says that she's not gonna watch this piece tgen so will I
I can imagine because I thought the Eternals was spectacular looking. 😊 they hired a great vfx team for that one.
This movie just copies and paste from other movies. Wizard of oz meets rise of Skywalker.
This was the first MCU movie I walked out immediately disappointed
I can’t believe we have so many genius teenagers in every corner of the MCU and none of them are boys.
Adam, the quality of a movie is irrelevant. We are just here to see the preview of the next installment.
Peter Parker does not agree with this message.
Peter Parker and Ned disagree.
Kang has lost to Ant-man before while Antman was using roaches
There are no spoilers in this video because the paint-by-numbers MCU is already spoiled by a complete lack of talent and effort.
Shark boy and Lava girl had better graphics!!
Forgot to leave a comment on your family update video. Prayers for your wife. They actually work.
You know something is wrong when the Prequels did a better job with the scenery than a Marvel film
Last Marvel property I watched was Dr. Strange: MVoM
Love the way Disney was hyping up how great kang is. It’s game over time for marvel. I’m sick of all the new movies 🎥
they could’ve incorporated the ant man crew so easily. all you had to do was jus have them as a mission control guy in the chair type thing like ned for scott and everyone in the quantum realm. and then maybe change the second act where hank and janet are trying to guide luis and them to build a machine to get them out of the quantum realm, but once they get it working they’re all captured by kang. and then when they do the interrogation scene with scott, you can have luis there where he does another story scene where maybe he talks about their universe and everything that happened up until that point. i really don’t know how they couldn’t figure out how to write them in.
Adam u are right on point! You’re one of the few brutally honest critics on UA-cam. You’re awesome dude
I so agree with this review Adam. I only liked Kang and can agree the 2nd credit scene was better then the first. I’m holding out for guardians. If that’s not good then I think I lost faith in the MCU. Also every time MODAK appeared I felt like I was watching Shark boy and lava girl CG
Marvel is making it too easy for James Gunn lol
Totally created an opening for Gunn. Don't blow it.
We'll see
Gunn turned the mcu into what it is now !
My theory is that Janet got it on with Kang, which is why she “forgot” to mention it.
The good MCU ended with End Game. Now there is too much of it with all the TV shows and everything is mediocre at best.
Infinity War. Endgame was terrible
When they all got pulled in wearing street clothes, how did they get their suits? No I haven't seen the movie yet, but spoilers really never affect my movie experience unless it's a sixth sense ending type thing.

That’s what I thought. If she was a little younger she would have a little kanglette running around.
@@erroneous6947 yep Kang conquered dat ass
I think people truly want to believe in their heads that Jonathan Majors is this awesome actor.
What a lot of people don’t know if he’s a new actor, relatively green. he started acting later in life. in an interview, he said he started acting about five years ago.
When I saw Loki season one, I was completely blown away, and then I was a little bit disappointed when I saw he who remains…
I’m a big marvel fan but I didn’t know who Kang was.
Finally, when we get to meet Kang the conquer
At first, he is very serious, and he does seem like somewhat of a threat.
END CREDIT SCENES
So when someone tells you that there’s an end credit scene with a council of Kangs it sounds cool right?
Mobious said it best in the end credit scene with Loki “your really scared of this guy?”
Not only was Kang a huge disappointment… again. The movie was just horrible through & through. Phase 1-3 there where no bad marvel films they were bullet proof and reliable,
Tapping into time travel and multiverse Is already confusing and now everyone has to watch Disney plus shows to understand.
I think marvel needs some competition.
DC better step up it’s game!
This was everything, love your work Adam! Ant Man 3 was barely even interesting, green screen issues aside. I even got annoyed by Paul Rudd in this film and that should never happen!
Marvel or Disney has been churning out one crappy movie after another. I'm so done with them.
If you wanted to see a mix between the rise of skywalker and spy kids 3/shark boy and lavagirl, here you go

🧢🧢🧢
Is that a Jurassic Park 3 poster back there?

She's a teenager and she did look up to her dad..she learned Quantum tech to support exploring the quantum world.
god man! I hate Cassie on this movie... annoying Teenager. I wanted the Cassie from Endgame
When it gets to Disney plus I might watch it
when a Windows screen saver is more engaging than a Marvel movie:
There was also a large amount of profanity in this one I was a bit concerned about. Watching at home I was imagining a bunch of young kids walking out of the theater yelling "IM NOT A DICK" but you know I'm sure the parents got a big laugh just not a good image in my head or house.
Not too many people seem to have liked it. Doesn't bode well for the MCU future outside of GOTG3
It was filmed on the volume! Big curve screen!
I'm a Comic book fan, but this film was embarrassingly lackluster. The Mcu is dead to me.
Kang wasn't a threat until the end...Kang was in prison! now that Antman put him in his place, now he has motivation to fight.
I Like this background better
There is no MCU, there is only M-SHE-U.
Love you Adam. Thanks for this cartharsis 🙌
Heh, and you ended up talking about, and hating, that line anyway. That's what I get for pausing the video to comment.
Opinions, right? Haha.
If you think about it. Black panther 2 and antman 3 could have been avoided if the communication was clear between characters. A.K.A miscommunication
Νο idea why they put all their eggs in the Rick and Morty basket as far as the writers go though, they clearly aren’t up to the task.
