Jack Harlow has always appealed to me for all the things Patrick mentioned, but also because he's casually and subtly rewriting the way young dudes act and think. He's not being grossly sexual when he's flirting, he's being polite and humble even after his successes, and he's extremely comfortable in his masculinity and heterosexuality. Some of Jack's peers definitely think lower of him after he casually and openly supported Lil Nas X, but Jack doesn't care. He's still a man, he's still confident, he's still Jack mf Harlow. If Jack can stay consistent for a little while longer he will solidify his place in the industry for good.

I found out about him from what’s poppin like most people but I looked into his music before he blew up and I just liked his music and continue to listen to his music, definitely in my top 3 in the game right now
His rise to prominence reminds me so much of early Drake. I feel like the same reason why so many people liked Drake years ago is the same reason why people like Jack Harlow right now.

I’ve liked his music since Confetti, but I only recently started watching the Instagram lives, interviews, etc. and he’s become one of my favorite humans alive. He’s gonna be an enormous household name for a long time. And he’s not a pompous, sexist jerk like a lot of rappers these days.

Jack Harlow has a great personality and he is funny. That shines through into his music. Not to mention his flow and music is unique. With these things combined he is a likeable artist.

@@PatrickCc I don't know tbh. But the biggest rappers are the ones that come from some type of struggle and sing about their upbringing and pain (Polo G, NBA YoungBoy, Rod Wave, etc). Sadly I don't think Jack Harlow is that guy, he'll have a few fun songs blow up here and there but he won't have a fanbase that's dedicated to his music or that's interested in his hardships.

@@PatrickCc Needs to just have a great 3-4 more years. Most people know What's Poppin' and the song with lil nas. He's got a cult following, with a die hard fan base already which is great. Take Tyler the Creator for example, a lot of people didn't respect him because a lot of people thought he was gimmicky, but has further proven his longevity and talent. If Jack can stay consistent for a little while longer he will solidify his place in the industry for good.

Mfs being fake and trying too hard to impress has become so common and boring, that now we're drawn to people who keep it real. Which is..... Eventually a good thing LMAO
