I just snagged a couple different store pick 1792 full proofs and they’re both EXCELLENT. Great review on these bourbons! I haven’t had the pleasure of trying the eh Taylor barrel proof, but the single barrel is one of the best bourbons I’ve ever had to date. I’m on the hunt for one of those along with some Stagg Jr. Cheers from Oregon!!
@@HOUSEBOURBON they really have! I’ve seen store picks for Blantons pop up here and there, but you’ll be able to find a ton of buffalo trace store picks everywhere. I have picked up 3 or 4 different bt store picks and they’re all very different and super tasty. Enjoy Oregon!! I always recommend The Westgate Bourbon Bar and Taphouse to any whiskey lovers who visit Oregon. It’s in cedar hills, has amazing (and endless) bottles, and great food. Best of luck on your travels and hunts, I hope you’ll post a video or circle back to this comment with your experience :)
Anyone who enjoys the colonel is alright by me. I started drinking bourbon because of EHT SmBa and have come to realize that I really like the high proof stuff. Have ventured into ryes and love the Michter's BP as well as 10Y rye. It's a long story but had an EHT BP "stolen" away from me and my conslolation was a EHT SiBrl. Haven't opened the bottle yet but looking forward to uncorking that sucker soon. Thanks for the review, mate.
EHT is one of the best. The good thing about the single barrel is how different they can be. The one I have open right now is so good. Sucks you missed out on the barrel proof. But im sure you will like the single barrel. Have you tried the barrel proof? Shoot me a email and I’ll hook you up with a sample when I get back. Dave@house-controls.com (Controls not Bourbon)
@@HOUSEBOURBON Never tried barrel proof. In my area, the lowest I’ve seen EHT BP was 700. That particular bottle was 129.3 proof, so I believe batch #8 from 2019. 5 years that beautiful bottle just collecting dust on a store shelf. My guess is it will sit there for another 10 years at that price. Will email for sure. Would absolutely love to try. Thanks again.
Thanks Dave! Another fabulous display of some beautiful bottles of bourbon!
Thanks man!

I’m heading to Oregon on Thursday. I work for a company in Albany. Oregon has been getting more Buffalo Trace stuff recently.
Hey! Cheers from Oregon as well

I had a pour of whaeehouse C tornado survivor at Peter Kern library. I wasn’t that great. Disappointing
Yeah. I could see that. So much hype. I honestly think that people were buying that bottle for a status symbol or investment.
