There are discussions about the tritium they use in their watches are radioactive. What is your take on it and the risk it might have?
At this level, and contained in glass tubes the way it is, I think the risk is extremely low!
I am really consider getting one of these .. ..How do they compare to maybe tissot or Mido?
The build quality and metal finishing is significantly better than a tissot. On par, or maybe a bit nicer than some of the Mido catalogue!

Man!.....I got the white dial one a few days ago and you were absolutely correct....It's definitely a big step up from Tissots...My Mido edges in a bit closer but th BALL "spanks" it as well....lol....And then there's the tritium
I thought these had an in-house movement? Automatic caliber BALL RR1103
It's an ETA slightly modified into a RR1103.
Larry's right. Ball does have an in house movement in the Engineer M Marvelight however!
How about its accuracy?
Ball does a great job regulating their ETA or Sellita Movements. They are always within or close to chronometer spec. This one is no different! They also have several models with official chronometer certification.
