99% of my kids clothes are hand me downs from neighbors and family friends. The last two year some SHEIN stuff has been scattered in there and neither of my boys wants to wear it because it’s uncomfortable and ‘feels weird’ 😂 they’re two and five years old. We are not fancy; resale or charity clothes for everything but even my toddlers are like ‘nah bruh I’m good.’
The kicker is, SHEIN is just….such bad quality. It’s abysmal. I have made like two purchases from there over the years and neither of those items is still in my wardrobe because they were thin, poorly made and unflattering. Who is making those hauls and for what? It’s the dumbest possible hill to die on.
I placed one order from Shein with 3 clothing items. One, a dress I returned immediately, it was awful. The other is a nightgown which actually isn't half bad but very basic and the last was a sweater which I've worn and washed, it seems to be okay. But it is very obvious to me this is low quality production, the nightgown is just about as basic design as you can get. Materials are mid grade to super cheap and so much polyester. I think I'm probably the exception and not the rule as far as the quality thing too. Definitely not going to buy from them again when there are much better options out there. I mostly bought out of curiosity and that was quickly cured. I really don't understand how people can continue to buy from them over and over again. And what about the fact that if you return this stuff, chances are pretty good it's ending up in a landfill? Doesn't anyone want to stop and think about that?
A fir amount of people that film massive hauls either are being paid for it or pay for it themselves for the content then return the items. They aren't even wearing them
