When the old Stafford District General was under partial closure in 1984, my grandad was in there recovering from a serious operation. One evening we went to visit him, and my best mate tagged along. While my mum and gran were in the ward, me and my mate decided to explore. We went up to the next floor - it was in almost total darkness. We went part way along the corridor before deciding that it was a bit too creepy. 😂
The first video of yours and many that i have watched, im really intrigued and into this now! brilliant thanks mate more for me and the other half to watch on the weekend :-) Take care of yourself!
Thank you for popping in I really appreciate it glad you like the videos I don’t get out much anymore due to my health as things took a turn for the worse for me and I ended up having a heart attack but I do hope to get back to it as soon as I can
North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary was a very good hospital. I know the place was old but it was a shame they knocked it down, it had so much history and some great architecture inside and out. Im sure it was haunted aswell by former staff and patients, so sad to see it gone. I wish i could have had one last walk around that place before they knocked it down. I had some nice and very sad memories about that hospital, i will never forget it :(
Yes I totally agree and as for haunted I can tell you walking round that place in the dark to avoid getting busted by security was a very unnerving experience
Good stuff and well done for cracking what is a difficult site to access! This is one of those places that I've wanted to get in for ages. Tried three times previously but failed, last time was about a year ago now. I know more fencing has gone up since so it's even more tricky.
If your going into pipe ducts like that anywhere that's where you really need your masks. The old asbestos pipe lagging is some of the worst. Take care guys.
@@exploringwithnightcaller we had a look before we went in, was there a green metal fencing all the way round it last time you went in? We assumed it was new and wasn’t possible to do anymore, unless there’s a way in over the fence
Great video. What route in did you take? We scoped it out a few weeks back but there’s fencing all round and although we could jump it, we had no idea where to go next. It’s a 4.5 hour drive for us so we need a plan before we travel up again. It’s so beautiful in there. We definitely want to get some nice photos. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks
Really liking your video's and location choices, that main entrance looked amazing, It would be a shame if it couldn't be intergraded into the new building. or reclaimed and reused.

Is it still there??
Excellent work bri 👍👍👍
Had my life saved twice in that hospital .
I drove past the old accident unit on Princes road the other day and was shocked it was still there. What's been demolished and or when will it?
On my visit is was all still there im not 100% sure on the plans for the place sorry
It’s all being demolished now. We removed the electricity substation on-site not long ago ready for demolition
The delay was due to asbestos removal.
@@sinista.productions I drove past it the other day and saw the plaque being removed. Bittersweet, thanks for replying.

Badass explore! We do a little urban exploration too, mind checking us out and leaving us feedback?
The arches could have begin used to store coal maybe in Victorian times to power and heat the hospital just guessing
great video guys. spent some time there with the wife.
Thank you glad you liked it
Is it worth going in 2021? I’m assuming security will be all over the place we were thinking of going sometime soon
Yes mate I think so its not been long its not an easy place to do security all over the place
