very good content, thank you for making this video available here. what is before and after heat level?

Phuh, I don't know. But now performance stays on it's level and doesn't get shut down.

Super Video.

Are you used isopropyl alcohol to remove old thermal paste? or what are you using in the video

It sounds a bit funny, but I used disinfectant :-D

Great vid, I have the same laptop, just upgraded it to 32GB ram, waiting for new drives to turn up and i will also repaste it too, but will be using Noctua HT-H1.
Have you upgraded the stock WiFi card?

Is it worth it in 2020 for 300$? What are the things you don’t like about this laptop?

    • @manuelstrobl95

In my opinion the money is totally worth it. I like the solid and stable design against new laptops in this price segment.
Also the resolution of the display (QHD) is very nice.
The CPU is working quite fast and with 16GB RAM and an SSD it is a quite fine working laptop.

@@manuelstrobl95 Yeah, I still use it too. It's great. I just started undervolting and am thinking of replacing the thermal paste as well since it get's quite hot.

@@Jokl92 Can I ask you how you got it running with lower voltage?

@@manuelstrobl95 Yeah, sure... So far I'm running it with ThrottleStop on those settings:
      CPU Core: -75
      CPU Cache: -75
      Intel GPU: -45
      Turbo Ratio Limits:
      1 Core: 38
      2 Cores: 37
      3 Cores: 36
      4 Cores: 35
It seems stable now. When I was at -80 (Core and Cache) and -50 (GPU) it crashed, so I went up a bit. But to be honest I just watched some videos and read a little bit about it and now I am trying. So maybe I'll have to tweak it again. And I will also try to use MSI Afterburner (after it is stable with ThrottleStop) to get the Graphics Card running a bit colder.
Max Temp after Benchmark is 90°C still though, but before it was over 92. What are you at?
Edit: So now after letting it run for a while and some tests with video editing and stuff I still get 95°C
