For question 3, I was able to solve the percentage mentally by taking 50% of 400 = 200 and then taking 5% of 400 = 20; Adding the two answers together mentally gives you a sum of 220. When taking timed tests like this, try to find the most simplest ways to solve the problems because time is of the essence-- especially for tests where calculators are not allowed!

You explanation for Q3 is long and confusing; If we multiply 4x45% the answer will 1.8 not 180 (as 45% is basically 45/100 = .45) Why don’t you simply multiply 400x45% = 180

It's hard when u have to solve a 3 to 5 minute question in 30s. It's a race against time. Even if you're good math this requires a different type of preparation.

I think this is simpler.
100% - 55% = 45%
45% of 400 = 180
If u have a calculator, just do 400 x 0.45 right, much easier
A better solution would be :
Take 50 % of 400 = 200
Divide that by 10 to get 5% = 20
Required 100% - 55% = 45%, so 50% - 5% = 200 - 20 = 180
So, answer = 180 tickets

Pedantically, Answer 8 is NOT 21. The questions asks for digit 1's BETWEEN 1 and 100, not including 1 & 100. So Range should not include 1 or 100.

Numerical reasoning isn’t hard at all compared to Verbal reasoning. Maths comes natural to me.
