So the top is the back and the sides are the ribs; does that mean the track is laid on the belly?

What's amazing is a spring in the desert. Where's that.

Nope , not a Gold mine ! That was a Tungsten Mine and that Adit was to have been the Main Haulage , but they ran out of money before they could connect with the Shaft and Ore Body . I know the original Name for that Claim if you want it for your records . Also , there are more workings further up the canyon . The wire strung down the Adit was to hold the Exhaust Ventilation Piping up near the Back and out of the way . PVC pipe was from the 1980's when everyone was doing Exploratory Mining on old Claims because of the increase in Gold values . --- < Doc , Miner for over 50 years > .

I really would like to talk with you. Many of the books on the region are not accurate and I want to fix that. I will release updates to the videos with the true history. I am getting tired of reading bad history for your area and would like to get more accurate information. One person writes one thing and another something totally different. Heck, I tried to see if someone had information on Greens Camp that I could not piece together from newspaper articles and the people that claimed to know about the camp didn't even know that the cabin was built by a woman and that she was also the true owner of the property. I have ran into the same issue in Pahrump and I have been working on fixing that.

@@DesertTrailsExplored -- Give me a way that I can contact you so that we can get together for a Face to Face . There's a movement going on where they're trying to destroy our History and replace it with B.S. so future generations will never know their past . --- < Doc > .

That is why I am trying to get it recorded. I have just started working with a rancher just south of Austin and we are going to be telling the real history up there also. I added an email to business inquire on my about page. Send me an email and we will start talking and getting things straight. I am looking forward to this.

There's a mine in the Old Woman Mountains I found that has no records either. Wondering if you're familiar?

The videos with you going into these mines make me nervous of asf for you. This one is pretty tame but I have watched a few were you really get in deep into these things. Mines that would make a 20 year old cringe but you trudge through it . For some reason I love that you do it for us. I know were are about the same age and both in decent shape for our age And I'd love to do the same explorations..... I'd never get the wife to sign off on it though.. She'd climb the tallest peaks in CO and but at soon as I mention death valley and visiting these old mines.....she puts the kibosh on it.. Probably rightfully so... We put your videos on the big screen when they you post them. Thank you for taking us out there with you. We appreciate you and your determination to show us places we would otherwise not be able to see and explore. I appreciate that you take the time and give us some history of the places you visit. Soon these places will be lost to time and their stories will be lost with them. Thanks for documenting them! I can only imagine that some of these might have pushed you to the maxto document them for us.. Please continue to be safe while you explore them for us.

I'm here for an odd reason .I'm wondering if this is near Mesa az and if there are more structures like the one where you looked down at 4:34 in the area ? I live in Tucson Az and am unable to walk right now . Today is Mon May 9 2022 . 2 Nights ago while praying I fell asleep and had the most vivid dream .I know this is gonna sound crazy cause it does to me too ! But it was so real it's actually had me looking at a bunch of videos trying to figure out if what I dreamed existed ! I was being carried over mountains that looked green behind me and to the left of me. I said wow this is beautiful is this where I'm supposed to be ?To my left in the air I then saw letters and heard a male voice say Mesa Az .And I thought oh I've been to Mesa Az and thought it was all just flat and desert. Then I look back at the mountains and it seemed to be at the bottom of the valley now as I began to be carried lower and lower and the terrain changed to grassy brown weeds then as they were more sparse in clumps, like you were walking in near the mine. I was so low I thought my legs are going to get scraped up . We had turned to the left and seemed to be gradually going up hill. Then the terrain was like it was around your mine very white there was a hole at an angle but in the gound ahead and I thought my body would just go right into as we got near I said please don't let me go in that hole. It seems to the right there was also a small one in the side oh the hill I thought of like a small cave.I was set down past the hole a bit .I stood up and realized I had no shoes or anything. I looked back at the hole in the ground it now had a couple of very large rocks on it but still could see some opening at the top. Then I heard a girl screaming like she was being hurt and I wanted to help her. When I tried to walk the ground was thick white and would kinda sink in and the rocks were hurting my feet they were chipped off and sharp .I thought is this a dumping ground and how will i ever get out of here or be found in this hidden corner. I went straight ahead not very far to what looked like a fence or crates so close to the wall of the hill seemed built into it and I couldn't figure out how the girl was put in there .I couldn't find how it opened to help her out. I was so scared and felt if I call out I was going to be in there too .Then I woke up my heart beating crazy .I started with looking at things to do in Mesa Az on utube and found superstition mountains ( no im not superstitious AT ALL) and now your video. I now know was in an old mined out spot and the structure the girl was in was definitely like the one in this video at 4:34 bottom of the track way you were on . I'm very embarrassed and don't know what to do with this dream but the things I'm finding in searching are too much and still making my heart beat like crazy in a bad way .I knew of the superstition mountains but never knew they were connected to Mesa Az in any way .Also certainly never have been interested before .I am now !!!

I know that you try to keep the specific location in doubt, but could you give general locations on future videos. I'm from the south and haven't been able to spend much time in the desert.
Hope you always have an air monitor with you.

That, or it was a way to get investors to pay the bills for a couple of years. Some of the stuff at the site, along with the can dump, looks to be depression era, so they may of had the government grant to mine. You didn't have to produce, but you needed to develop the property to get the money.

Wear boots. Watch where you step. Dont put your hands where you cant see if you encounter a Rattler count yourself fortunate They arent evil They arent aggressive unless surprised or provoked. Expect bad Juju if you harm or kill them when you didnt have to. Now if you do take its life its only right that you utilize its skin /rattles/collect its venom and invite him/her to. supper Namaste

I might get to a pet store pick up a couple of canaries and maybe a homing device in case you get trapped. No way would I go two feet past the entrance. If you made a stick light like Rambo you might get some cool shots.

I imagine those people had nothing, never owned nothing so they were doing something that may pay off. Unlike today, people would wait on the government to take care and feed them.

Corporate fat cats and millionaire ranchers ... everybody's getting a piece of the cake before it crumbles. If you have a hobby/family business, you qualify for more tax breaks & disaster assistance.
After Katrina, every politician's brother-in-law suddenly had a roofing business. Yep, the taxpayer was paying to have all the damaged roofs tarped until real roofers could repair/replace them. Live and learn ... Life at the end of an Empire is interesting.
