My first turning project video i used yellow pine also. It does turn and cut easily. It does have nice grain aswell. Nice bowl, never thought about a project like this. Good job.

So far I have done pine 2x4’s, 4x4’s, and a combination of both. Also red wood, and pallet wood. Just wish I could afford the good stuff. Oh yeah, very nice.
