    Awesome work......please be extra careful welding galvanized steel.....do not inhale the exhaust.......it can kill you....take care

    Amazing extra effort to reinforce everything. Is this future proofing for unknown projects down the track or do extra heavy presses and lathes need the extra concrete strength?

      Hi mate, the amount of mesh etc was what was required for approval. The minimum concrete strength was 32mpa but I decided on 40mpa for future proofing like you said. 32mpa is still very strong but given the amount of effort so far I went with 40mpa so I’ll never have to think about it again. Lathes etc are fine on 32mpa and even less than that at 20mpa if the base is solid enough. My workshop is on filled land so the extra strength is a good thing as the ground may move over time given it’s clay based
