I'm surprised Australia doesn't make you have a liocense mate.. Nice build. I'll be building a barndominum shop here pretty soon. Much different building process here but in the states but I do like galvanized look, that's what my current shop is made of. It's super strong and looks nicer than red iron. Sucks to weld to tho
Hi mate, in Australia you can do a lot yourself. Electrical connections are licensed but you can build to your skill level. Having said that there are still rules, eg I needed to register as an owner builder with my council, I need to have inspections done at certain points and at the end I need a final inspection to be signed off by a licensed builder to ensure it’s all built to the relevant standards. Owner builders also need to pay a small fee which is a proportion of the total estimated cost that goes towards training of others.
@@FrequencyOfThought Thanks mate. Agree, no cutting corners but being an owner builder can save a lot of money and be very satisfying if you have the skills to do the work. Not for everyone though, in fact I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a good understanding of what you want, how its done and the requirements.
Hi mate, good question about ventilation. I'll make a note to answer that in the next video as that will be easier than trying to write it out.. Solar should be on with the next 3 or 4 weeks
Looks great
Looking good Mezza, the contrast between the colourbond and the wood looks sharp
Thanks mate
Gday, I really like the thought you have put into this, it’s going to look bloody awesome when it’s all done, great job mate, cheers
Thanks Matty
