Workshop build part 12, Finishing the Concrete

The slab is finally done, I went with 40Mpa concrete which is 5800Psi. Its been a massive job to date and really looking forward to getting the roof on before winter sets in.

Gday, that’s a massive step forward, I went the same finish in my workshop, super smooth and really easy to sweep clean and wipe up spills, it’s good when you find a company that does exactly what you ask, looking at the slab I didn’t see areas the had water laying in low spots, that’s a bonus mate, thanks for the update, cheers

Thanks Matty, the concrete did turn out really well. I'm not thinking of putting any coating or sealer on the slab. How have you gone with oil spills etc, did you add any sealer? I'm thinking keeping it as is will provide that "older school" feel which is what I'm after.

@@Mezzmoengineering I didn’t put any sealer on mine and so far it’s held up good, I have got a couple of chips in the floor from dropping stuff but for whipping up spills it’s been good and very easy to vacuum and sweep…
