The LaLa Farm channel is an informational and educational - how to - DIY - channel that follows the day to day activities happening around LaLa Farm. The goal of our UA-cam channel is to educate and share with our customers, followers, and anyone else interested in the homesteading or small farm lifestyle - our approach to managing the little slice of paradise we call LaLa Farm. OUR JOURNEY TO THE HOMESTEAD:
LaLa and I (Rick) grew up in a small agricultural region of New York State. LaLa was raised in a dairy farming family and I grew up in a small town. LaLa and I were high school sweethearts, who married in our late teens - and have now been married for over 30 years. We moved to Jacksonville, FL in the mid 1980’s, after being stationed there while serving in the U.S. Navy as an Interior Communications Electrician (I fixed phones). The plan was for LaLa to be a stay at home mom. In the early 90’s I was injured while serving on active duty and I was abruptly discharged from military service. By this time, we had two young children, and it never seemed like there was enough time in the day. LaLa went to work - I went to college - and we somehow found enough time for each other and our family. We always dreamed of having a small farm to raise our kids and our own food. For nearly 20 years, we lived in the city and watched as the city encroached in upon us and grew up around us. In the early 2000’s we moved from Jacksonville, FL to an adjacent and more rural area of Baker County, FL. We eventually found the perfect piece of land to realize our dream of owning our own farm, and in 2015, this dream became a reality - a reality that is today - The LaLa Farm. - Розваги

Thanks - our old one was built in the early 80's and had a lot of rust issues on the roof, tongue, and side support struts. Still is probably good for local movement but we go interstate and need to be able to trust it to make the journey with us. Thanks for stopping by.

This is so much nicer than the trailer our family group owns. When Ernie and I do our solo livestock venture, we need to look closer at this one.
I put alot of attention to detail into researching purchases like this. One might say I went a little overboard on this one - borderline analysis paralysis. We really like the trailer and because it has collapsible gates inside - we can haul just about anything inside of it. Little Rick had it loaded down a complete living room set this past week. @@TheLaLaFarm , if I am making a purchase of over a couple hundred dollars (which I consider the threshold of a major purchase, excluding groceries) I will do exhaustive research before I make the purchase. Some people call that ATDD or being anal but that is how I feel about being a good steward! I am a true believer in multiple uses as well.

That's a really nice one! I wish I had bought a feather light. I bought a steel 3 horse slant with a tack room for my horses and it was tough to pull up hill even with a 1 ton fuel wheel truck.
