I love how when the 4 special themes in the final boss theme started to play out, you perfectly matched the characters with their own special theme. So when Adelle's theme played, you showed Adelle doing one special move, and when Gloria's theme started, Gloria was shown doing one special move, and the same for Elvis and Seth. Just perfection.
i love the attention to detail in the special where each job special the heroes have little quip for them especially Elvis because i love his Scottish accent :lul:
I love how much thought was put into the specials, both in terms of the animation and the bonus effects. Makes you think more when using them. Thanks for the exhibition and videos, Omega!
Everyone's little one-liner made every special worth watching. Seth goes a little hammy with his ones, especially when he uses the Pictomancer Special!
Nice to see all of the classes' specials. A bit bummed that they're locked to classes instead of weapons, but it gives classes more meaning. Also loved the animations in the specials.
Kinda wonder what it'd be like if in the rematch battles asterisk holders could trigger specials. Would've been interesting since there aren't too many instancrs where they don't fight solo.
I love how the video starts and Seth just breaks the game already also these specials are super cool some I like are sword masters severance, the ranger maximum draw and the red mages cool wind rapier attack I just love the oomph these attacks have.
i'm gonna miss this game. Hopefully we'll get another soon. Question: which Heroes of Light are your personal favorites? Personally, i miss Tiz, Agnes, Ringabel, Edea, Magnolia, and Yew... however these guys kinda grew on me. I still miss Edea and her MRGRGRs.
The OG heroes are great but Ringabell and Edea were a step above the rest. I think that this game made them maybe not as likeable as those two but made them all as good. I love the 4 and Gloria being good at gambling an liking it but still being serious about it was just lovely.
Honestly liked Elvis a lot, he felt like a different character from the ones I'm used too in a JRPG. He's the tallest, most mature looking but he's naturally a mage, he's laidback and carefree but in no way at all stupid and instead of a burning screaming rage, he goes very calm and tranquil when he's serious. And his inclusion in conversations makes him feel more lively compared to the other three
the main issue is that you can't brave combo with them, so you have to sacrifice a turn to use them, this is problematic specially when the buff/damage ain't really as good by end game compared to braving 4 moves xD. They are pretty decent early to mid game though.
@@omegaevolution I'd argue that ones that boost physical and/or magical attack power are still helpful to bring along since direct stat buffs can go a long way in boosting damage output, especially if you stack them.
Elvis' spiritmaster ultimate quote is the only reason I keep him as one.
I don't know about other people, but these special moves are like a fresh shot of seratonin to me.

Is it strange I don't hear Adelle's theme? Like, I can't hear the motif...
The other 3 are easy to hear so...
@@therunawaygirl5096 I can hear It, it comes before Gloria's theme
4:02 can we just appreciate that the music synchronizes up with the actually characters special, I just love that.

Glad you enjoyed it!
Don't forget the monologues!
I still can't get past Adelle's blank expression at the end of her specials. Like she starts well and then :-| (I'm just getting started)
😐 THAT'LL TEACH YOU TO MESS WITH ME!
Lmao i cant unsee it now
Was it meant to be like that? 😭
This is, with Elvis' words, perfection.

Had to balance it SOMEHOW
Last two games was easy to exploit
XD
I wonder how intentional the editing was when at 4:08 the characters loosely matched the motif playing
Well in the intro, Omega already tried to sync the bit beats to his intro titles, I'm sure it was intentional heheh
Omega's videos are art for themselves, so I'd say it was pretty well crafted in there
OMEGA that opening and using that epic final boss theme in tandem with their specials, Genius idea! Thanks so much.

I'm quite a big fan of the original Heroes of Light; Brandt, Jusqua, Yunita, and Aire. Though Seth & co. are pretty cool too

I love Ringabell but I also love Adelle
Edea and Adelle are my personal favorites.
The Exhibition is finally here!!
i like how certain classes will use the same weapons as the bosses in their attack
its omega exhibition time Long time last omega exhibition
man why is limit break and invincible like the best two looking specials?
I guess I have to put down genshin impact and actually play this gem of a game.
Yeah genshin already stale at this rate with no engame content
The Bravebearer's special "Limit Break" looks a lot like Cloud's limit break in FF7.
Elvis and Gloria got my favorite quotes, especially Elvis.
The music going to Elvis's theme when on the Arcanist is just perfect timing!
I love it. Very final fantasy ish.
A lot of the same people worked on it
Ohh so the specials are now based on the job u have
the Bastion's special is so fucking extra compared to the others, god damn
dat intro lol
It is a shame that we don't see more of these during the main playthrough. I guess that is the downside of being Omega, huh...? :/
