he deserves 500 000 already for his effort. he only didin't achieve this because his channel is traditional and honest and maybe doens't target most young people who rather click on clickbait stuff which is entertaining with lots of effects/visual effects and shit but actually lacks content quality. there is just a big difference between getting viewers/followers and providing quality content. some people have million of followers and provide nice quality content but most of the big channels just have a lot of marketing behind (advertisement, clickbait, lots of editing, effects, social media platforms to spread content etc.) and of course they have a wider target group/audition. that is why oluv got it harder to get the same amount of viewers, although he put in at least the same effort and he does this alone without an seperate guy, cutting and editing videos and so on. so yes, give him more thumbs up, he deserves it!
@Maurice Frank. I couldn't agree more. You have to wonder how many hours and how much effort it takes for Oluv to produce these videos for us. Not forgetting of course his Interactive Speaker Audio Database (switcher.oluvsgadgets.net/).

I always go back to your videos to get your honest opinion with audio proof of what your saying. Any, I’m interested in a small PA and I remember you reviewing the Mackie Live. Dear Oluvs, thank you for your great effort to bring us the best reviews ever. You helped me with home speaker choice a lot. Now I'm looking for a headphone with active noise cancelation system which will be used by an adult (me) as well as my teenage son. At times when we're more and more exposed to noise around us we need to take care of our child ears. I didn't find a reliable reviews on YT regarding compare of headphones with noise guard systems. Great video as always. I have the Mackie Freeplay Personal PA with an 8 inch woofer, it impresses me alot by how loud and clear it can get without distortion. It can go even louder with Aux cable (Neutral), perfect for outdoor acoustic 😁 Its quite good for music too even tho it doesnt go very deep, but 65hz is good enough for me for outside party. Its quite good for the bucks 😉
@@mac832002 Glad im not the only one who notice that this speaker is very impressive for its size 😁 Its not very popular as "portable speaker" category but heck its much more portable than the Aiwa Exos 9, smaller and even much louder and lighter, goes up to 114 db on bluetooth. You can also swap new battery whenever it runs out like the Aiway Exos 9, just that the Mackie Freeplay is worth so much more for the bucks as it sounds much more natural, louder and is smaller with alot more options.
Thank You Oluv. you have a great comparison here. helps ma make up my mind to but a Makie Free Play. I liked it in the store but your video is the decision maker. thank you for a job well done!
Good work young man. really helped me with both products. Teufel certainly lost out at high levels but was better at lower. Mackie possibly edges it for me over all
I bought 2 of the Mackie Freeplay Live speakers, however I can't say that I was that overly impressed with the sound quality. I expected it to sound very similar to the Bose S1 Pro, but it's so far off I'm not even sure if these are in the same ball park. I found the sound stage much less on these, where if there not at ear level the sound quality is lost greatly. Also, the bass response was almost comparable to a bluetooth speaker at half the cost (maybe similar to the Bose Soundlink Revolve Plus). It comes with the speaker preset to "live" instead of "music", so I thought that was a possible cause of poor audio sound, however changing it over to "music" only improved the bass response slightly while using Spotify. Now I'm not talking about muddy bass that drowns out a speaker, but that good deep rich punchy bass you'd hear off the Bose S1 Pro or hell even the Jbl extreme, you just don't get that on these Mackie speakers. On the plus they are light and compact, and the bluetooth seems stable from my testing as far. Though at a price of $519-Can. before tax are they worth that, my thoughts are no. To note, I did buy them blindly as they didn't have floor models out in the store, but owing a pair of Mackie studio monitors for the past 7 years that sounded excellent, I thought these were going to be reasonably comparable.
after second thought, the mackie live is rather meant for live performance and there are rare occassions that somebody uses a heavy bass instrument so they focused on controlled signature in more important frequency areas
Thank you very much for the video. I wanted to ask you. Is the mackie recommended over the jbl boombox, in terms of sound, power and practicality in the field or at the party. The price is not a problem for me. I currently have the boombox. Is it worth upgrading?
This is a neat little speaker, looks much more professional than the old version. Would love to see it go against the larger more expensive Soundbox and cheaper ($180) Behringer MPA 40BT mini PA speaker. There is also the battery-powered JBL Eon 1 stick on a sub, LD systems Maui, Rolland BA330, Bose S1, Denon Audio Commander and other weird PA stuff hitting the market. I know PA gear is not your area of expertise and that live vocal reproduction requires much different design goals than pre-recorded music but for light-duty mobile DJ work, these battery-powered busking rigs are starting to come of age and there are not many Hi-Fi guys reviewing them. Would also love to see you build a Boominator and take it to Roskilde, let that freak flag fly!

Ab Lautstärkestufe 27 von 38 rauscht das Gerät sehr laut. Bei voller Lautstärke hört man das aus 3 Meter Entfernung.
