"You know you'd have done the same" becomes funny when you remember that Eury is married to Odysseus' sister. Like, "You better be willing to commit murder and human sacrifice to be with my sister."
Eurylochus: You threw away six lives. You leave me no choice. You're unfit to lead. Also Eurylochus: Look, I know it might doom us all, but tell me you don't want a cheeseburger
Going from "If you want all the power you must shoulder all the blame" to Eurylochus immediately calling Odysseus "Captain" again when he f*cks up is so satisfying but also heartbreaking 😭
OHHHHHHH my god, Perimedes KICKING Odysseus off the blade of his sword and then going to help Eurylochus up, that's such a devastating and amazing touch! Thank you so, so much for all your hard work bringing this monster of a song to life!
@@S0n3taThey suffered loses everytime the CREW didn't trust Odysseus. If Odysseus kept the Wind Bag a secret and told no one about it they would have been home.
The fact that they bandaged Oddy up even though the crew didn't trust him shows they actually CARE about him... It makes me happy and sad at the same time. Love the statue's design and how it opens its eye when Eurylochus attacks the cow.
The statue's eyes opening is rather like that 1970s film Jason & the Argonauts, when Hercules is taking treasure from a pedestal of a massive bronze statue on the isle of Talos, despite being warned by Jason to take noting from the island. Hercules justifies his theft by saying 'if the gods didn't want people to take this gold, then they wouldn't have left it unguarded.' At which point the head of the statue grids around to look down upon them, and slowly the huge bronze figure, Talos, gets down off his plinth and sh*t gets real.
"You know you would've done the same" funny thing is during circe saga he tried to when he said "Let's cut our loses you and i and lets run" but Odysseus didnt run so now eury is trying to he heroic when its clear he's at fault
That's entirely different, Eurylochus was sure those men were already done for and wanted to make sure no one else got taken. Odysseus sacrificed his men.
@@themenagerie5247 In a way, Eurylochus would've indirectly sacrificed his crewmates, though, by abandoning them. After all, he only saw them be turned into pigs, not actually get killed.
@@slasher3336 Generally speaking, getting turned into an animal by a goddess is a one-way trip in Greek Mythology; Eurylochus doesn't know how to turn pigs back into people and he's DAMN sure Odysseus doesn't either. So when he's telling Odysseus they should get the rest of the crew off the island before Circe comes for them, too, he is speaking from the perspective that his scouting party is done for and he doesn't want his brother to get baconated trying to save them; if Hermes hadn't thought it'd be funny to get involved (and neither Eurylochus nor Odysseus had any idea he would) Ody would have gotten himself killed trying to outwit Circe. The situations would only have been equivalent if Eurylochus had DELIBERATELY sent a group of men into Circe's abode to get turned into pigs as a distraction while he and the rest of the crew moved on.
@@themenagerie5247 He didn’t just “sacrifice his men” he kept casualties the lowest number they could’ve been. If Odysseus had allowed his men to fight back, there may not have been ANY crew to make it out, or a significantly higher amount of deaths. Scylla has six heads, six men to feet each head which is also why he called for six torches. He literally had no other choice other than to sacrifice six men for the sake of his entire crew. Though, he could have gone about it better, he knew Scylla had the price of six men, and he should’ve told his crew that there would be no way to get past her without at the VERY LEAST 6 people dying- so, yeah
I love how much you involved the crew! I think it's not talked about just how much Odysseus' actions hurt them. If Eurylochus did not knock Odysseus out, they probably would have killed him. In fact Eurylochus sitting with Odysseus until he wakes up and then calls him "Ody" almost seems like he's guarding him. Because his crew turned into monsters for their king and captain. They trusted he would always have their best interest amd safety at heart. They were the last survivors of all the constant tragedies that befell them. And it's even stated in the last song "different beasts" that they have adopted amd obeyed all of Odysseus' orders to ensure their safety. So when he sacrificed them. When he preplanned killing 6 of the crew who have grown to be the tightest group of friends... he lost their trust. Their love. Their belief in him. They now know that they were just pawns to get Odysseus home and he never once gave a damn about them, and if he did, he doesn't now. To quote a line from Delicious in Dungeon, "once you lose the trust of your crew, you lose everything."
I was thinking about this too, how utterly devastating Odysseus’s choice in Scylla would’ve been to them. The way they look as Eurylochus begs Odysseus to tell him there was another plan in place, and then their expressions when Odysseus shouts that he can’t, it looked like they were *all* hoping he had a different plan they couldn’t see right until Odysseus’s response makes it clear that his plan was indeed to sacrifice 6 men (and to make it worse for Eurylochus, *he* is the one to have given 5 of them the torches, 5 of the dead died because of Eurylochus’s own hand, it must have felt like he fed them to Scylla himself). Every last member of that crew had to be aware by that point that the plan was the sacrifice, Odysseus didn’t look shocked by her presence and they would’ve realized he specified 6 torches which is the exact number of men Scylla ate and at least two of them would’ve seen him move out of the way of one of the heads so that Scylla would eat someone who wasn’t Odysseus, yet all of them basically wanted Odysseus to at least lie to them. By this point, they quite literally cannot trust anyone but each other and to learn their captain, the man who got them through ten years of war without losing anyone and who they literally followed into the Underworld because he said Circe said so, knowingly gave up six of them? The fact that the six were essentially randomly chosen so he would’ve accepted any of their deaths as well? That’s heartbreaking for them, as if the past 12-ish years of relying on one another meant absolutely nothing to Odysseus so long as he gets home alive. And of course, it clearly was not a decision Odysseus made lightly, he’s unhappy to learn the only way to avoid Poseidon is by traveling through Scylla’s lair and he basically begs Eurylochus not to fight so that Odysseus won’t lose him as well because Eurylochus is betraying his king by doing so, but that doesn’t change how devastating this would be to everyone else. It says something that Odysseus is stabbed in defense of Eurylochus while Eurylochus is attempting to avenge the six men Odysseus sacrificed to Scylla, after Odysseus had Eurylochus be the one to give 5 of them the torches that made them targets, and that Odysseus is literally kicked off the sword so that Eurylochus can be offered a hand up. That’s a powerful visual that boils down to what you said about the crew losing all faith and trust in Odysseus; kicking Odysseus is an act of disgust with what Odysseus has done
But they don't obey him. They betray him several times over, that's how things got this bad. Odysseus was more faithful to them than they ever were to him. Also, they were on the run from Poseidon. Eurolychus is completely wrong here -- there was no option where they all get to live.
@@KrytenKoro They opened a bag 2 years ago and have been sailing through hell since. They haven't done anything against Odysseus since then. One could say their crimes are a LITTLE disportionate. Especially since all this sailing is because SOMEONE told the Cyclops their name, address and social security number! It's not mercy or a lack of ruthlessness that killed 557 men. It was the blatant arrogance of their king. Also why not find another ship, ransack their crew and use them as sacrifices. If the sirens are sinking ships, than someone must be sailing them. Speaking of which: cut out the Sirens vocal cords and dress them as men so Scylla goes after them instead of the crew since she was attracted to the torches. Why not have legit volunteers who may have given up all hope and are willing to make this sacrifice to save the rest of the crew so the rest can go home? Or they could have come up with at least some way to fight. Really brainstorm this problem together. There are other ways to pay the toll... they just were not as easily acquired or readily available as Odysseus' own crew, who did not know what he was planning. He needed meat shields, and decided to turn them into it. Odysseus is the most intelligent man in Greece who uses out of the box methods to win. He was the inventor of THE Trogen Horse. Give this man time to cook and he can do almost anything... but today he chose to brute force his way through a shortcut. And it cost him everything.
@@ChasehaWing Question didn't one of his men shoot the sheep that pissed ol one eye off in the first place? Ody was skeptical of the cave if memory serves right perhaps the Cyclops would had been more open to reason if his sheep was not killed.
I love the small smile on Eurylochus's face when he says,"You know it's true," almost like he's accepted that they are about to die. Why not just piss off one more God and die with a full belly.
This is exactly how i see it! I mean at this point they were 13 years away from home. Endured a 10 year long war, survived Poseidons wrath, fought monsters and stuck on Circe's island for a year. They were tired, beaten and lost all hope to make it home safely. Dying of starvation is one of the worst deaths imaginable and who knows how long it will be untill they find another island, considering that Poseidon might push them away again? So i get it why Eurylochos did what he did honestly. You really become irrational if you are starving
Love how eurylochus actually looks manic in this animatic. It’s like saying the more crew members who die, the more eurylochus like slips into insanity
4:18 The great and fearless Odysseus, SO consumed with fear, having already endured the likes of Polyphemus, Poseidon, Circe, and Scylla, broke out of his bonds, while INJURED, JUST TO RUN...
4:16 "Captain?" No Eurylochus, he's not the captain, is he? That's the whole point of the mutiny. You were so sure he was a bad captain, that you guys tried to kill him. That you took the reins of the crew. You don't get to look at him for answers when you screw up, not anymore. He warned you multiple times and you ignored him, now YOU deal with the consequences. How was it? "If you want all the power, you must carry all the blame", right Eurylochus?
Oh my gosh I never thought about 'if you want all the power, you must carry all the blame' being turned on Eurylochus! It obviously fits him because it was his fault but that's so true!
Honestly I didn't get the irony of the line. But yeah, your right, Eurylochus was so desperate to avenge his crewmates and stop them from suffering that he doesn't grasp that he doomed them. After all, in his mind, of course Ody was lying to get free; it's because that's what HE would do and of course their "evil" captain would think the same
@@potatoguy8970 I mean, Eury was just dumb. He has seen what happens when you attack someone's animals when they went up against Polyphemus. Just to be safe.
The absolute awe, excitement and amazement I feel inside myself of just how incredible so many of the artists creating animatics for epic is literally so overwhelming it makes me feel like I'm gonna explode
Oh I love all of the expressions and oof there's something more tragic about Perimedes just putting his foot on Ody's back to get the blade outta him, almost like he stuck his sword in an inanimate object over it being an actual person. And Ody just looking so beat up and a mess after he wakes and even clearly in pain and hurting while commanding them to row faster is such a nice touch! Also the picture at the end is killing me. Edit: Also Eury looking actually kind of panicked at first when Perimedes stabbed Ody! Because yeah, first time there's been killing of people by people since Troy!
Something i noticed: Odysseus deliberately hits Eurylochus with the hilt of his sword and doesn't attack him during "I an not letting you get in my way" and is actively playing the defensive before that. He isn't trying to hurt his friend/second in command which makes the backstabbing hurt even more...
Okay but the way Eury knocked him out so they didnt kill him, bandaged his wounds so he didnt bleed out, AND stayed with him until he woke up... even after all ody did, he still loves him like a brother that he could never do without... breaks my heart knowing that even after this, ody still sacrifices him.
1: Eurylochus messed up a ton of times, and a bit worse that Odysseus 2: They love each other like brothers because they are, they are very close even in "Mutiny", they just go through a TON of tough shit. 3: Eurylochus would've died if Odysseus had died anyways 💀 Ody being alive was their safest option lmao
No it’s so sad! Both Eurylochus and Odysseus just want to get home and have made bad decisions because they are so tired and desperate , but no matter what they still truly care for each other. They both deserve sm better 💔☹️
oh man, right in the heartstrings!! love your design of Apollo, btw! that part where Apollo's statues eyes opened gave me chills. also your attention to detail is awesome, like Odysseus having a black eye to signal where Eurylochus hit him!
@@creative8180 It is Helio. I even had to be reminded since I would something mistake Helio's cattle for Apollo's due to an unrelated myth where a very young Hermes stole the latter's cattle.
@@creative8180 It's Helios in the original Odyssey, but since Crashite says in the description of the video that he drew the sun god as Apollo, I went with Apollo
The part where Odysseus says "youd have done the same", theres a look on Eurylochus' face before it hardens and he says "if you want all the power you must carry all the blame"... It harkens back to that moment on Cerce's beach where Eurylochus is like, he have to go! And Odysseus says, "not without saving my men... if it were me id hope you'd do the same!" There was a look on Eurylochus' face after that line that told me... he wouldn't. He would have left Odysseus behind. Woah... i love how you bring back pas scenes! I really REALLY want this to become an animated movie now... VERY BADLY... like, ok, musicals are fun but... i want THIS animation!! ❤
That fight scene was awesome! It’s crazy how ready they were to go at each other (especially Eurylochus bc OmL that thing would cleave Odysseus in two). I love this color scheme we’ve all settled on. A sunset for the finale of an entire crew.
Eurylochus: "Listen to me, my comrades, brothers in hardship. All ways of dying are hateful to us poor mortals, true, but to die of hunger, starve to death-that’s the worst of all. So up with you now, let’s drive off the pick of Helios’ sleek herds, slaughter them to the gods who rule the skies up there. If we ever make it home to Ithaca, native ground, erect at once a glorious temple to the Sun god, line the walls with hoards of dazzling gifts! But if the Sun, inflamed for his longhorn cattle, means to wreck our ship and the other gods pitch in-I’d rather die at sea, with one deep gulp of death, than die by inches on this desolate island here!" (The Odyssey) Zeus: (loads his thunderbolt after many crewmates disobeys Odysseus' instructions not to touch the gods' cattle and leads a mutiny against him) *Alright, Bet!*
Honestly his logic makes a lot of sense to me. They're dead either way and he figured if the gods were mad, they'd kill them but if by some miracle they made it home they'd offer eternal gratitude
Hot damn, okay, to start, Eurylochus posing over Ody in the ending is hilarious. That fight scene was *chef's kiss* and the animation over all is just SO GOOD.
No really because why have 3:19 to 3:24 so much gay tensiom lmao. At the "but we're so close to home this can't be where it ends" part I genuinely thought they were gonna kiss. I ship Ody x Eury so I'm not complaining, but still.😂
Eurylochus they can never make me hate you, he absolutely made a mistake opening the wind bag which was unequivocally stupid, but man he really was doing what he thought was best for everyone otherwise.
I'd like to point out that Odysseus almost got them all home safely. That he got them safely through war and all the way home, but they didn't trust him enough to not open the wind bag. That decision got hundreds killed, and it was their fault. But he still tried to save as many as possible. Thing is, there was no way to save everyone from Scylla. She would have torn the ship apart to get her meal, and that would kill everyone. They couldn't fight her, they'd all die. He could sacrifice six or kill everyone. The was always going to be blood on his hands, all he could choose was whose.
Poseidon was waiting at Ithaca, none of his men where gonna make it home. And that bag was a trap, Aeolus literally told Odysseus the only way he was going to win their game was by killing his friends. This isn't a fable about friends getting you killed its about how pride screws you over.
@@themenagerie5247 If Poseidon was waiting at Ithaca then why was he right there near The Land of the Giants after the bag was opened? And even if the bag _was_ a trap, I don't think him not wanting to kill his friends was necessarily an act of _pride._ I'm not entirely sure him shouting his name and title at the cyclops in the heat of an extremely emotional moment was him being prideful, either. Yes, it was very much one of, if not the key mistake that set the whole epic in motion, but don't forget that before Polities was killed and he had a calm mind, he had sense enough to say his name was Nobody instead. I could see him hyping himself up like that as an attempted intimidation tactic in the same way some animals puff up their bodies to look larger to scare away potential predators. He didn't kill the cyclops because he still wanted to avoid any unnecessary death, but by basically saying "We didn't want to hurt you, but you forced us to. Remember that we could've killed you, and I and my crew will come back to finish the job if you continue to be violent." he was hoping to keep the cyclops docile. If it was truly pride, he likely wouldn't have added "nor mythical" when he claimed he wasn't a man. He had no clue that Poseidon was the cyclops' father. TL;DR: I don't think it was pride that was his downfall, but the caring emotions left behind by Polities, instead.
@@charjohn2468 Yeah i recently figured it out. It’s mainly because of recent adaptations of the odyssey, and the fact that not many people know about Helios as they know about Apollo. Apollo kinda just kicked Helios out of his role…again…
I noticed that the god shown on the island had a lyre which most likely meant Apollo, and I don't mean to be annoying or anything, the animation is amazing, but those are helios' cattle. Amazing animatic, infinity/10, loved it!
Jorge said that many things will be changed in Epic from the original source material, those could very well be Apollo’s cattle if it fits the story. But guess we’ll find out in God Games for sure when it’s Apollo’s turn.
I love how the sky plunged into darkness at 4:09 ... The sun god was pissed🤭 Aaannd it created a dramatic backdrop for Zeus' appearance in Thunder Bringer!😃 Awesome work!❤
I love Eurylochus' expressions. You can tell that he and the crew have given up all hope. Of course, they quickly switch tunes once they actually pissed off the gods.
Eurylochus is that one guy who refuses to accept his own flaws. Ody made a mistake with Polyphemus, that's on him. But Eury is the one who says "Gods can't be trusted" then opens the bag given by Aeolus because he trusts the God of Wind more than Ody, leading over 500 men straight to their death. If I were Odysseus, I'd have wanted Eury to hold the torch as well. Then he goes from "You'll take the blame" to "You'll forgive me, right?"
@1:30 @1:34 rly love the sml detail how they chant Eurylocus' name confidently, but when it came to Odysseus, it started rly unsure, like when one person claps at the end of a lecture and the others join in cos they don't wanna leave him hanging
UM??? What the heck?? THIS IS SO GOOD? It's fluid, expressive, emotional, and jaw-dropping. The lip syncing. The pain you can feel in every movement. That straight-up action fight scene and Perimedes heaving Odysseus off of his blade. This is my favorite of your Epic animatics so far, Crashite.

@@Artemis704 I think it’s Helios. The island they landed on was Thrinacia, which housed the cattle of Helios. Or at least the statue is supposed to be Helios and not Apollo. It looks to be Apollo in this animatic but i think it’s incorrect.
@@imaginarylivingbody7154 Ah okay! Thank you and sorry to the original commenter. I had thought that it was Apollo as in mythology he could be pretty vengeful, and as he is Zeus' son it would make sense to send him. I also thought that the sacred cows were Apollo's because of that myth when Hermes was born that he stole Apollo's cattle. Sources seem to be pretty mixed on the matter of whose they were though, so as this is epic we can stick to the Odysseys version. Helios also makes sense now that I think about it because Apollo will be in the Wisdom saga and will have his own instrument and motifs- which in retrospect we would have heard if it was him in the song.
It is interesting, since typically it IS the first mate in charge of making sure the captain is treating the crew well. This means it was kinda Eury's job to lead a mutiny if needed. 😢
Just wanna say in the first half of this song alone there are 4 crimes Mutiny, Treason, Attempted Murder, and Attempted Regicide cuz Odysseus is still their king

Another Interpretation of the Mutiny song that I haven't seen discussed by anyone else : Just after the "Eurylecous no!!" line delivery, I think what shocks everyone and especially Eury to look at Odysseus and be like "Damn, we fucked up." is the fear in Odysseus's voice. That along with the clouds gathering and the thunder and lightening will be the most ominous and scary thing to a crew who had always just relied on their captain. Their usually cool, calm captian who has never really shown this much raw emotion in front of them and he is scared out of his mind. They thought they were going to die of hunger or maybe divine retribution but not like this. Being struck by lightning and dying by hellish fire, angering the King of Gods of all people. Drowning is preferable to being burnt alive by lighting. They were resigned to their fate, to dying, but not like this. I wish some of the animations focused on this part of the very frantic and scared voice delivery by Odysseus. Just zoomed in showing the absolute terror on his face. The crew seeing their Captian scared and being like this person, who dispassionately sacrificed six of his crew to survive the journey now in absolute horror of what is about to happen. In Poseidon's case when a large portion of his crew died he had tried to outsmart one of the major gods and failed and punished. As Posidon says he was either very naiive or just hopeful that Posidon will accept his half-hearted apology and he will be able to get out of this one. He learnt his lesson that in a direct fight between him and the gods the gods will always win. No mortal can win when faced with a God. So he knows what is coming with Zeus and knows he is powerless to stop it. He is just pure terror. And at the point where he says "We're already too late" he just resigns to their fate. Also it is my headcannon that they sailed for a while or were stuck for a while on Helios' island. With no captain they were just lost and lost hope. Maybe a month or so just directionless and getting lost and then being lured by the promise of a meal they know they can't eat. What I am saying is even though they still respected and thought of Odysseus as their Captain and King, they had lost confidence in him. In their eyes he was completely off his rocker prioritising getting home to his wife and kid over getting his crew safe and sound to theirs. So they healed and bandaged him best they knew (such a blow will take a while to heal) and were desperately looking for a while before giving up hope. So they should be drawn a lot more haggard and hungry and hopeless looking when Odysseus finally wakes up. I don't think they would have waited for him to wake up to go kill the cow so it seems they were just lost at sea for a while and when they got to the island, shortly after that Odysseus woke up. And even when he saw what they were about to do and says "don't do what I think you are gonna do" the line delivery comes across as not just pleading but horrified. Like send a chill down your spine horror. Like WTF we would all die horribly don't do something this stupid kind of horror. Also I picture Odysseus at his absolute lowest as he is pleading to Zeus to not make him choose. He knows they are fucked either way but this way he also as their King loses all his righteousness and duty towards them. That one animatic where you see Odysseus reflected in Anthena's eye, looking absolutely wretched with guilt, pain and finality, that is what I picture. Just him giving up the final shread of does anyone or anything else matter to him than getting back home to his wife and kid? No. So just be ruthless. No need for false righteousness or trying to be nice or save anybody. Hell he can't even save himself. He faces the depths of his desparation and how depraved he's gone. "I know" is his resignation. He knows. Eury isn't asking him to spare them. He is asking has Odysseus really fallen so much and really thought through what he's about to doom them to. Their Captain, their King. About to doom them all just to keep a sliver of hope to see Penelope and Telemacus.
"You know you'd have done the same" becomes funny when you remember that Eury is married to Odysseus' sister. Like, "You better be willing to commit murder and human sacrifice to be with my sister."
dam, high expectations for his brother in law

Love the statue's design and how it opens its eye when Eurylochus attacks the cow.
The statue's eyes opening is rather like that 1970s film Jason & the Argonauts, when Hercules is taking treasure from a pedestal of a massive bronze statue on the isle of Talos, despite being warned by Jason to take noting from the island. Hercules justifies his theft by saying 'if the gods didn't want people to take this gold, then they wouldn't have left it unguarded.'

When they realized that something was wrong, everyone subconsciously followed the orders of the betrayer
"You know you would've done the same" funny thing is during circe saga he tried to when he said "Let's cut our loses you and i and lets run" but Odysseus didnt run so now eury is trying to he heroic when its clear he's at fault
Maybe he would have done the same, had he had the choice. Unfortunately, Odysseus didn't give him, or anyone, the choice.

Let's not forget: Eurylochus is Ody's brother in law, guy married his sister Ctimene.
But they don't obey him. They betray him several times over, that's how things got this bad. Odysseus was more faithful to them than they ever were to him.
Also, they were on the run from Poseidon. Eurolychus is completely wrong here -- there was no option where they all get to live.
@@KrytenKoro
They opened a bag 2 years ago and have been sailing through hell since.
Oh my gosh I never thought about 'if you want all the power, you must carry all the blame' being turned on Eurylochus! It obviously fits him because it was his fault but that's so true!
Honestly I didn't get the irony of the line. But yeah, your right, Eurylochus was so desperate to avenge his crewmates and stop them from suffering that he doesn't grasp that he doomed them. After all, in his mind, of course Ody was lying to get free; it's because that's what HE would do and of course their "evil" captain would think the same

Something i noticed:
Odysseus deliberately hits Eurylochus with the hilt of his sword and doesn't attack him during "I an not letting you get in my way" and is actively playing the defensive before that. He isn't trying to hurt his friend/second in command which makes the backstabbing hurt even more...
The literal backstabbing though…
@baileyb8649 Why do think I used that word instead of betrayal
Okay but the way Eury knocked him out so they didnt kill him, bandaged his wounds so he didnt bleed out, AND stayed with him until he woke up... even after all ody did, he still loves him like a brother that he could never do without... breaks my heart knowing that even after this, ody still sacrifices him.
1: Eurylochus messed up a ton of times, and a bit worse that Odysseus
2: They love each other like brothers because they are, they are very close even in "Mutiny", they just go through a TON of tough shit.
3: Eurylochus would've died if Odysseus had died anyways 💀 Ody being alive was their safest option lmao

This was absolutely stunning the expressions on Eurylochus's face was perfection
But if the Sun, inflamed for his longhorn cattle, means to wreck our ship and the other gods pitch in-I’d rather die at sea, with one deep gulp of death, than die by inches on this desolate island here!" Eurylochus they can never make me hate you, he absolutely made a mistake opening the wind bag which was unequivocally stupid, but man he really was doing what he thought was best for everyone otherwise.
True, but the only thing I really hate about him is that even after all he did to betray Odysseus, he still calls him "captain"

@@imaginarylivingbody7154 Ah okay! Thank you and sorry to the original commenter. Sources seem to be pretty mixed on the matter of whose they were though, so as this is epic we can stick to the Odysseys version. I like how the first "Eurylochus" sounds more like the crew trying to get him stop but then after they're chanting him on
Love how Ody STILL TRIES TO SAVE THEM even AFTER they went against EVERY SINGLE WORD HE SAID
