The Monster was reborn with a new, righteous purpose. And no God could save anyone that stands in his way.

When she repaired the blades in GoW 3, they became the Blades of Exile. At the end of that game, they reverted back to their original form, as all the magic in Greece died along with Olympus.

Take in account that he throws the Blades of Exile at the end of Gow 3 (which were the Blades of Athena but transformed) and never uses them again.

GOW4 and 5 were part of my recovery from an abusive relationship, I just didn’t know it. This scene always gets me because when I was telling my now girlfriend that I liked her, everything I went through came back to me, everything. 2:20 I love it, the music picks up, its as if Kratos is trying to find that inner monster again he was but in a bode of desperation to save his family rather than destroy everything around him. Beautiful story telling.
