Incredible win for Elfyn, and a beautiful dedication to Craig - it can't be massively fun winning under these circumstances, so I have a lot of respect for him❤. Also proud of the whole of WRC for how they've tackled this weekend - drivers, teams, media and organisers. It's a credit to everyone involved in WRC that Craig was honoured this well, so thank you all
Great coverage of the rally, Dirtfish team. Don't go changing! Well done Elfyn and Scott - you conquered the challenges of those Croatian roads with a perfectly paced drive. R.I.P. Craig Breen, forever on 19 points, season 2023.
congratulation Elfin Evans for this victory in the Croácia Rally and good luck to all drivers in the next rally which in is my country ! (Portugal)😄😄😀😃😆
Well done Elfyn bach. Keep driving tidy like this for the rest of the year, and you never know. Best to your dad, bet Gwyndaf is excited. Love to the family. 👍🏴
Without the climate change snow. We haven't had a proper one in years. Seen the stack of tyres BMC had for the Monte in 1967 Minis? Nobbllies and studs and spikes from the Dunlop factory from north Birmingham, next to the M6 spaghetti junction..
Ott Tank when he landed in that Mexican pond. I am a surfer, but ironically am a water phobic. I still have them nightmares. That disturbed me seeing that.
My condolences and RESPECT for (hyundai)PILOTS and all pilots of Rallying, but... I would like to see hyundai aut of pontium and a SKODA FAVORIT in third place, no mater if i am a TOYOTA FAN... hyundai... 7-10 of Septemper(ACROPOLIS RALLY) will be a grate "party", no mater if you win or loose... At that time I will have the chance to show you what DIGNITY AND RESPECT means.. As we, the Greeks, say... "If you want someone to be respectfuii to you, YOU first must proove that YOU DESERVE IT"(Greek Philosofer 3.000 years back).... My love, ADMIRATION, and RESPECT to ALL PILOTS(including hyunday ones).. "Keep on pushing" and God WITH YOU ALL... And YES.. Craig IS and he will ALWAYS BE BETWEEN US...😢😢😢 ❤
Colin, the South of Scotland Grand Prix drivers, you know who they are. Jackie Stewart, when his French friend..... he couldn't take it anymore, one too many for him, he hung up his driving gloves.
Don't want to take anything away from Elfyn's great win, but if Seb and Kalle wouldn't have their tire issues, the time differences to next drivers would've been extensive. These things however belong to the sport, of course.
yes those things belong to the sport quite directly - actually quite directly, choosing the speed when driving through those holes in tarmac has effect on whether car breaks apart or not (breaks the rim or tyre) - so the sport is about the strength of the car, the same way Ford breaks up, the Toyota has some weaker spots as the wheel rims - driver is a good driver if he takes it into account and compromises and adjusts the driving, the same way the power of the car is skillfully managed - its all part of driving
Fia: please bring back the pre 2003 points system and scrap the silly restart rules when someone crashes on leg 1 or 2 and get to "restart" with a penalty [that is not the sport] and only give points to top 6 not top 10... and u won't end up with 1 team dominating and maybe 3 potential drivers champions... things were closer 79 to 02... watering down the points system and introducing restart rules only made things worse..Totally predictable and boring 😴... and they hand out too many points for the power stage... everything is gift 🎁 wrapped now... it's awful 😖... it would be far closer if they didn't just hand out points willy-nilly and allowing people to restart after crashing... this ain't a bloody PlayStation game!
Some extra points (maybe like half a point) for every stage win would make it a lot interesting as well. BUt then I guess, all events should have equal number of stages, although different nr would work the same way
@musaire I disagree about awarding points for stages... this is how it was 97 to 02... 1st 10 points 2nd 6 points 3rd 4 points 4th 3 points 5th 2 points 6th 1 point and all seasons from 97 to 02 were very close. I'll give u an example of how it dramatically changed things.... in 2003 when top 10 points started being awarded... half way through season 2003 Richard burns was leading the championship... but if the points system was the same as the previous year.. then Marcus gronholm would've been leading... I can remember watching on 📺 channel 4 uk at the time aged 16... and I remember how pissed off gronholm was and I didn't blame him.
@musaire had odd live televised stage in Finland in late 90s I think awarding 3, 2 and 1 points for top 3... I remember didier Auriol benefited on the 99 thousand lakes from such a rule and tommi Mäkinen was pissed off coz at that time Auriol was Mäkinen's closest rival for the title and Auriol hadn't done well on the overall rally... I don't think bonus points for stages... maybe 1 bonus point to the driver with most fastest stage times at the end of the Rally??? 🤔 but I think they're way too generous with points... top six used to be exclusive... you must admit that the restart rules are a bit silly.. if u crash and can't continue... Rally should be over there and then
Croatia must stay in calendar WRC. IT IS very beauriful rally event. R.i.p Craig Breen. 😢😢
This was an exceptional rally. Definitely one to keep in the calendar!
Tears are just coming seeing Craig's name on the leaderboard
He's no more!!!!!! R.I.P
Yes that got me as well #42Forever #GoneButNeverForgotten #RipCraig

Me recuerda el antiguo Tour de Corsé de los 90 .

Not well, obviously. Struggling. 😐
Lappi is dry as a brush, great humour. 👍

I do wish the sound was better balanced, 50% of what L uke says is just a mumble. Not just on this video, copy from the service park is the same.
