Thanks @TheRockycat! Just doing some basic acro to try to bring out prop wash and was throwing in some snap rolls to see if I had any bounce back (none). Great tune but very tight so it will show any stick movement that is not smooth (won't hide my imperfections in stick control). SLOG
Funny, I've flown with this tune and it was even worse than default. I ended up just ticking P:I up to 1.15 and pushing FF to 1.5. Everything else is at 1 (master slider cranked to 1.5). You really need to take it through its paces in PID Toolbox and follow the "basement tuning" method to really lock it in.
I have been happy with this tune so far. Seems like there is a mixed bag of responses. Looking at black box logs the filter settings look good. Did not spend any time analyzing the PID tuning aspect. Maybe my motor selection and that I am at ~5000 feet plays into it. Cheers, SLOG
@@pappuinfo6721 The preset I used for this test was for 4.4.x and I was happy with it. The last digit is for minor releases so this preset is worth a try. Like the videos states, always save your current settings "Save backup" so you can go back to your old configuration settings if you do not like the tune. SLOG
Hi @vpimaging, yes this tune should work as the iFlight version is very close, really the same frame, just has a soft camera mount to reduce motor vibration getting into the camera. Thanks for the feedback! SLOG
Awesome, thanks. That’s what I figured as well. Just a noob with FPV and Betaflight, but been flying camera drones Maric’s for a few years. Lol… cheers.
Great video! What motors are you running? Im swapping everything from my Cinebot30 o3 6s over to this frame. Im hoping these 1804 motors arent too much.
Hi Jessiah, Chris Rosser (frame designer if you do not already know) recommends 1504/1505 2950KV on 4S if you are looking for a larger motor so a little overkill and adds weight. But if you do not care about being under 250grams, you will have lots punch for freestyle! Worth a try and see as you already have the motors. Cheers, SLOG
Good point. At 9:13 in I do a forward roll where I am stalled (very little forward motion) and falling through dirty air. Really should have done a flight pattern UAV Tech (Mark Spatz) suggests when flight checking a tune. Oh well live and learn. However, this has been the tune I have been flying since this video was made and it is still my favorite freestyle quad to date with this tune. SLOG
@@slogfpv5679 i saw👍 what I'm meaning is that you have to force propwash to see how much has been reduced. Another good test is to show before and after applying the preset. Anyway good video. Really! As I'm flying with an emax babyhawk 2 which has similar idea of frame I think I will try this preset too. Ciao! 🙂👍👋
@@gabrielemoro1 yes I would agree the two are very similar in design so worth a try. Also check out Mark Spatz's presets if this does not work out for you. Cheers, SLOG
@@slogfpv5679 i will. Just one hour ago I tried a pid tuning of mine: all low pass filters off and only rpm filter + dinamic notch filter and dterm filter on. Seems it works. Plus I put stock pids but increased master to 1.4. With avatar props seems very good. Just let you know. 👍🙂
Thanks for the videos really helpful. Great piloting happy flying.

Hi do you have good tune for this drone on bf 4.4.1?

Hi great video, enjoy your work. Will this work with the Iflight BNF model,

Hi, I would like to know if i can fly with 4s on this 6s quad?
Hi James, this is actually a 4S build with the motor KV I picked so you should be fine.
SLOG
Hey bro. If you want to test a preset and understand if propwash has been reduced you must split-s into the quad air not going straight... 😂

Is this the v2 frame or a new?
It’s the latest frame that supports the O3 AirUnit AOS 3.5 V2 O3 I updated the title. Thanks 😊
No props in view?? :o
Running 16:9 wide FOV not ultra wide in this video. Cheers SLOG
