Super interview! Grateful to have taken a workshop with you, Pat, in Sudbury,MA pre-pandemic. Was great fun! Thank you both for sharing your joyous enthusiasm.
Absolutely enjoyed this interview. Like having to great ladies over for a visit. ..and I didn't have to clean. Lol so much fun listening to you both..and learning. Thank you.
Thank you so much Carolyn. That's so nice of you to say! We had fun. And honestly I really, really needed that right now. I'm so happy others enjoyed our time together.❤️
My husband and I sold our house and now live in a two bedroom apartment in a warehouse we own. When Pat was describing going to someone’s home with bare walls, not filling them with art, I totally agree. My apartment is like a quilt art gallery. I have rods with curtain rings with clips in every room so I can regularly change them out with quilts my mother, my sister or I made. I have too many favorites. If I had a UA-cam my name would be The Selfish Stitcher because I make what I consider to be beautiful for myself. I also love to add pieces of art from our travels
Fabulous! I agree, Zoom online classes have changed my quilting life. I have access now to so much more that fits around my crazy work and family responsibilities. My interests and output have changed dramatically over the last year plus. Now the trick is finding them before they are filled, as Pat said🤩. Very interesting interview, lovely friendship and fabulous scarves. I’ve bookmarked Pat’s page. Thank you!
I'm so glad Patricia. I'd love to have you join my Improvisational Stitching Workshop coming up in another week. There's still space. arianezurcher.com/workshop/improvisational-stitching-2/ ❤️
10 months ago I had a cardiac arrest and was without oxygen for 20min. I am now disabled and not able to get around well. I work as a nurse in an ER and Or for years so you know I get around. The virtual class makes me feel like I am doing something fun and using my brain and also being creative. Thank you for all you do. It is a great help that you my not know without someone telling you
Thanks so much for this comment. Without virtual, live, workshops so many, like yourself wouldn't be able to attend. I love the flexibility it allows people. I'm so glad you enjoy taking them. Sending you hugs Pamela.
Great interview. Two lovely talented ladies in tune together. It made me realise how much I've missed the textile artists who spoke/demonstrated in workshops and showed the beautiful pieces they'd designed at our Embroiderers' Guild meetings. It was all beyond anything I could create but so inspiring. Thanks Ariane.
Hi Ariane, really interesting interview, really enjoyed it. Are you home from your adventure now? Followed all your videos it just looked like the holiday of a lifetime, made me want to go to Africa. Has it made your artistic juices flow? Fabulous love you xxx
Hi Jane, thank you! Yes, we are home and it was such an inspiring trip. Lots of new ideas and projects in the works, including a couple with Pat Pauly. Very, very exciting. We returned home over a week ago now and I've been churning out videos ever since. The last one of our trip will post on Saturday. I would like to go back! ❤️
A great interview. Interesting and informative. Thank you for sharing ❤ 😊
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Pam. Pat is a brilliant artist and a joy to speak with. ❤️

Wonderful! Pat’s a joy and so incredibly talented.
Basically you’re making your own art supplies to create artworks with. That actually enhances the aesthetic quality of the art project.
