I predict now - England to win the World Cup. If we can play so badly for 65 minutes and still draw with the AB”s, then think about who we can beat if we played for 20 minutes; even 25 minutes. In that first 65, it’s hard for me to think of one England player who stood out; for the right reasons
Englands back line is just wrong. Needs serious work. Start with Farrell at 10, and bring on Smith. Tuilagi at 12, Slade 13. Both wingers need replacing - Radwan, Arundell or what if three others are much, much better
Taking the tie was smart, why risk giving a way a penalty in your half or having the ABs getting Beaudy back at the next stoppage if it’s a Penalty to England, we didn’t ice that game at the end there with a yellow to Beaudy, England scored all 3 of their tries in the 70’th min onwards. Was a good come back by England. Stink for us though. Lol.
As an England fan , I`ve no idea what to make of this game . We were hopeless for 70 mins , but fought back brilliantly for the draw . Cant think either team would have been all that happy , really . Think Smith should have taken the gamble on the last play - maybe one team would have gone home happy , and I`m sure no-one would have critisized him , if it went wrong .
NZ played superbly well and heaven knows what was going on with England for 70 minutes. Suddenly they start to play and are amazing. Congrats to both teams on the result. We have a lot of work to do.
New Zealand are always great to watch. My team, England are great too when we’re at our best but frustrate you at the same time with how they only turn it on at certain times during games. Great game to watch though 👍
ABs forwards were phenomenal as were their kick passes. They were so much better. But what a response by England! Suddenly showed the world on 10 mins that they can play brilliant rugby after all. One of the strangest results you will ever see.
As an England fan I am delighted that we came back to draw that game, feels like a win, NZ were excellent in the first half however even when they seemed out of sight after the third try it wasn't as if England weren't creating chances , I didn't expect England to get out of the hole they were in but they played some great stuff to score those three tries . Ps I've got to mention the ref and I know I'm in danger of entering Rassie Erasmus terrority but come on, he was so fussy it was like dealing with a teenage girl .
I think you nailed it. Even when the AB's were far in front on points, the performance from both teams was quite close. So, when the Kiwis got a yellow for the final ten, it made a big difference.
Just no. We have High School 1st XV's in New Zealand who would have played with more determination, sense and composure than the All Blacks did in the final 10 minutes. This team's composure is absolutely appalling under Ian Foster. Well done England for a very spirited fightback to level the game.
10:00 that is one hell of a dodgy call man. No clear grounding and the player was tackled before the line then drives over. This is almost exactly what happened with the Boks vs France.
Well, as an England fan, I didn't expect that. Why they didn't go for the win is beyond me. I thought we would lose. Kind of makes up for the Women's world cup that I will NEVER get over.
As an Irish supporter can't understand why England didn't go for the win. If you lost it wouldn't have upset many people. The last 10 minutes gave you the right to try. Best comeback since Leinster Northampton!
I think the England team was just so happy to not lose after getting their butt whopped for 70 minutes that they relished the definate draw vs the possible loss. Was interesting to compare it to the Ireland/Aus game where Aus had a penalty with minutes to go and the score 13 - 10. They went for the corner and lost because of it. As a spectactor yeah i wish they played on, but I get why the players would takke that draw as if it was win lol

It shows enough respect to the opposition to know that they can score from almost anywhere. As a neutral, it was the right decision because if they had run it and All Blacks had a counter that won them the game, the fans would be all over the team.
I'm french and I've always liked the english fighting spirit. Like this day..... But l'm very angry against Markus Smith. What he did at the end is a shame...

The ABs have got to be shattered with their last 10mins performance. They had this game won for all money but could not handle an England onslaught. Stuff the ref, 10mins is 10mins. We've got to be better.
Are we suppose to beat a good England side in 10 minutes with 14 men I don't think so not England they are too good they got there mojo going in saying that only when we were down to 14 men lol 😂 this is when defence blocks in grids we teach in nz all blacks obviously didn't go to that method wtf is the ab coach teaching them on defence I've coached 2 teams and that defence grid blocks are for when we are a man down or even 2
@the bonecrusher of rugby Absolutely. ABs train with these types of scenarios. Taking nothing away from England but the ABs should've done better to close this match out. No doubt they will learn from this test.
Although this was a draw, NZ should view it as a loss.19 point up with nine minutes to play, despite a man down should still be a win. The NZ media going to have a field day. Kicking conversions and giving away silly penalties at key stages of the game isn't going to win the ABs the WC. To England's credit despite being outplayed for most of the game kept going and deserved something from a game they should have lost. That never say die attitude is what potential World Champions are made of. Well done to them. Can't wait for the Six Nations and the WC of course.
And of course an extra man in the last 10 minutes didn't help at all did it. Take it as a loss? Only an English supporter would spout such crap. Or is it sour grapes because you're still waiting for that 10th win over us?
@@Nineteenseventy2 I’m not an English fan never have been or ever will. Of course having one less man helped England. Despite that for a team like NZ even with a man down not manage the game with that score advantage with nine minutes is criminal.

8:21"There has been a lot of penalties and to be fair nobody enjoys watching them" That piece of commentary could fit into most rugby matches and explains why the game has become so boring. Once NZ went down to 14 England played some rugby for a change and it worked but still didn't have the courage to play for the win.

Was Reiko’s first try right to be disallowed for the neck roll? if he doesn’t score, they pretty much play on from there, and it’s neck rolls every tackle after.
You are starting to sound like a Saffa, so we will not mention the red card direct forearm to the head by barrett at the Ione neck roll breakdown that the ref missed and mindlessly whine about a couple of 50/50s that want against NZ.
Games where the All Blacks have given up a 14+ point lead: vs South Africa (2nd test) vs Australia (1st test) vs Japan vs Scotland vs England This is a pattern.
Credit to England - they played the first 40 virtually without a halfback, then they scored 14 points in the last 7 minutes. Yes, the TMO gifted them 5 points but still it was no mean feat that comeback. I don't want to point a finger at someone but I thought that drop goal was a poor decision. You have an advantage in front of the posts, you have 16pts up and 10 minutes on the clock - go for try, the worst thing that can happen is to have 3pts anyway and less seconds on the clock so why go for 3?!?! Then Smith exploded and the AB's imploded - would that have happened if Razor was in charge?
The French ref made a mistake with Beaudon yellow card because the ref thought that Beaudon was the tackler when it was actually Mounga and Mounga did release and Beaudon was over the ball on his feet contesting it which is allowed so actually should have been a penalty to NZ for England not releasing the ball and holding on.
You are starting to sound like a Saffa, so we will not mention the red card direct forearm to the head by barrett at the Ione neck roll breakdown that the ref missed and mindlessly whine about a couple of 50/50s that want against NZ.
Attitude, NZ have to stop assuming that they`ll just win every game, underestimatig your opponants, your season should tell you that. ref wasn`t that good i admit but it was on both sides.
It was the fact that they pissed off the ref. Game over at that point. Ref ignored a MULTITUDE of England infringements and pulled out a bs yellow for a SINGLE penalty in the 22 that was at best a questionable penalty.
Oh dear, it wasn't the thrashing I was hoping for but in many ways just as humiliating. Let's just get next years RWC over and done with so we can hopefully put this era behind us.
The gutless way we collapsed in the last 10 minutes shows how poor this All Blacks team really is. No way a good rugby team give up a 19 point lead in 8 minutes. It was a pathetic capitulation that sums up Foster’s coaching reign.
Discipline. NECKS ROLLS. IN FRONT OF THE KICKER. INSIDE THE 10 METRES. HIGH TACKLES. NOT FINDING TOUCH. NOT THROWING IN STRAIGHT. Basic Lack of Discipline / Execusion of Fundimentals. Historical. This game will be rerun thousands of times to thousands teams of all ages and standards who are not expected to win, or fall well behind to 70 minutes in a game.
At 10:43 Laulala gets suckered by a routine inside runner, leaving a 5 on 3 situation. This was the turning of the game as it gave England momentum for the final 9 minutes. Fletcher Newell is the way forward.

Honestly, they were not even that brilliant to be honest. They just fed off of England's incompetence for 70 minutes, along with some rather questionable and inconsistent ref calls.

Coward behaviour
Your back in Englands 22, give away a penalty and all that effort wasted. Only a friendly, a test match that would have felt like an England victory and the AB's would feel like they lost a test match, which in some respects they did. Ref was very unpredictable too - we didn't want ball in our own half under any circumstances. As an English fan I can understand the decision.
I was in two minds. Personally, I’d not have minded if England had tried to score from that difficult position, and ended up losing. However, I suspect many, many England fans wouldn’t have been so understanding.
@@Macron87 I suppose it's all points. A draw shares the points in the world rankings. Hard game and well done.
Honestly I’ve been critical of Fozzie since the Australia draw in 2020 but the first 70 minutes I understood what he’s been trying to do. A hard and fast game with a multi game plan approach it actually is a lot different than Steve Hansens play what’s in front of you approach
8:45 with a bonus play, Barrett attempts for a drop goal. in this moment the game changes.
But they actually have to win,... which they did not.
Lol.
Against any other team Eng would’ve played to the whistle. Pity they didn’t play the game and use their momentum…shows the Eng approach!
They didn’t want to leave it up to the French ref ! remember the Bledisloe cup ? He might of had a Deja vu

England stopped playing battering ram Rugby and started to move the ball around.
Might be something to do with playing 14 men...

Considering the ABs got absolutely smashed by England at the previous WC, a draw is better than losing again.
So british...

As a spectacle of running rugby, that was a shambles. WTF have they done to the game played in heaven?
Thankyou for this!

Really?! As an England fan, they really quite often do! Often in a stadium completely devoid of any atmosphere
No, just the rugby spirit, as always with cowards !
Respect to the All Blacks. I don't think they would have kicked into touch for a draw if they'd had possesion in the final minute.

Never seen a AB team let a game go with such a lead, well done though to England for the comeback.
It’s a record
The ABs have got to be shattered with their last 10mins performance. They had this game won for all money but could not handle an England onslaught. Stuff the ref, 10mins is 10mins. We've got to be better.

Was Reiko’s first try right to be disallowed for the neck roll? if he doesn’t score, they pretty much play on from there, and it’s neck rolls every tackle after.
Did you see how many players were sent off for neck rolls this Autumn series ?
You are starting to sound like a Saffa, so we will not mention the red card direct forearm to the head by barrett at the Ione neck roll breakdown that the ref missed and mindlessly whine about a couple of 50/50s that want against NZ.
Games where the All Blacks have given up a 14+ point lead:
vs South Africa (2nd test)
vs Australia (1st test)
vs Japan
vs Scotland
vs England
This is a pattern.
Bring TJ on for his experience and he does a rookie mistake
I think that TJ will struggle to retain his place in the squad, might be lucky to make the world cup squad.

my favourite All Black, they should give him more time/ball
Beaudon went to ground with smith and never let go. If you can’t see that then you need to take your tinted glasses off
