This is why I love FC so much. They truly appreciate cinema and the craft that goes behind making a film.
Also, the popular UA-cam channel CineFix made a video where they discussed the 10 most revolutionary cinematographers which includes the likes of Roger Deakins, Sven Nykvist & Vittorio Stottaro and there they made a special mention for Santosh Sivan. I was so happy to see that his talent was recognized internationally even to some extent ❤😊

I have to say I am relieved, sometimes I was so convinced that the only way I can be a director or an artist is if I get a certificate saying that I am qualified in that specific skill set etc. This is very helpful, love it.

Anupama and team has educated me that a film is not just actors acting or if the script is good or not. Watching all these discussions with DOP’s, writers, producers, lyricists and music directors have widened my horizon of how to watch films. Going forward I am no longer going to label a film as a hit or not based on the usual criterion. Thank you Film Companion for enlightening the audience.

Yes, one thing I truly agree that a cinematographer's work is the proof people who understand cinema actually will automatically get about the cinmatographer about his work and talent and that is the big screen for the cinematographers.

it was a very diplomatic interview. I liked the interview with lyricists because it opened our eyes and bring something new to the table. I was hoping the same from this interview. I was hoping to learn something new from their experiences. I waited until the last question, but nothing came out.
