I saw some comments here about stage upgrades. I am about to buy a 2018 fat bob 114 converted to a 117 Stage 4. Seems like a good deal. Gotta decide by this weekend...
Being from the south, NW Alabama an owner of a 16 Dyna low S I rode both saturday I chose the FXDR sad for the most part the south is Baggernation this Bike is a blast to ride plan on trip thru north ga soon to deals gap. I still have my S to many upgrades to let go 😁
Bryan Frederick I chose the FatBob cus I’m in a high traffic area n ride lots of tighter twisties n also short trips around at night n maybe a couple errands aka excuses to pop on the bike “real quick”. The FXRD I was told is a little bit like a low Corvette where at the FatBob is more like a Camero, Charger or Mustang in car analogy. If I was in a more open area n had longer slower turns n lot ultra high traffic (SF Bay Area) ide go FXDR too. Great pick it’s a gorgeous bike in person...
@Silver Helmet same if it is the 114ci ;) Harley doesn't bother to make differences about the engines, if you want more, you have to upgrade it yourself with stages 1, 2, 3 or 4
@Silver Helmet Harley means expensive... Stage 1 is a must have, almost every Harley has one. Stage 1 means : exhaust system, air intake and fuel tuner. It gives you a boost of 20% hp and torque. Stage 2 : you add bigger Cylinders and pistons, it is a big bore kit. Stage 3 : all the previous and you change your Camshaft. And stage 4 : it is all the previous modifications and you add cylinderheads. Stage 4 is very expensive because you change almost all the engine. But in stage 2 you can get a pretty beast ;)
pikaprd I actually text rode both, I usually ride a vrod so I really wanted the FXDR. Riding both back to back made it painfully obvious how much better the fat bob is. It handled better it’s faster it’s more comfortable and it can corner better.
@@GoodKnightIrene I'm glad I read this. I'm looking to get back on a bike after several years. I used to have a 2008 Night Rod Special so I was looking hard at a used FXDR. However, I think the Fat Bob has won me over. Very first mods I'd make is a Stage III 117 kit upgrade along with a Screamin' Eagle high-flow exhaust.
@@GoodKnightIrene Edit: Idk. Lol.. I loved my Night Rod Special so much that even though the Fat Bob has grown on me, that FXDR is still calling to me. Decisions. Decisions...
Bro, you're talking in the wind against two idling motorcycles and added music.
I heard him fine
Fat Bob every time for me. Handles sweeter and looks less cluttered up.
Love the look of the Fat Bob. FXDR is quite nice looking but definitely prefer new Fat Bob.

May I know how tall Sara is?
I think my height is around hers
FXDR for me
the headlamp on the fat bob goes better with te fxdr and viceversa
What's the horsepower rating on both of these bikes?
The 114ci is 91 Horsepower
@@Mathaury thank you. I'm still a little old school. Always like to hear about the horsepower.

One Bike Man ..is that at the crank, or the wheel?
FXDR is not so heavy as the Fat Bob, so it should be faster. By look, i don't know... Low Rider S! :D

Bobby win !!
Trade the headlights and get rid of the ugly mufflers, also the brunette is hot
Maybe do a second take without the lawn mower noise and music drowning out everything you're saying.
Dude !! Shut up and let the ladies talk !!
