Not really sure what this is... just count it as a teaser for an edit I want to do once we have all their backstories. THIS SHOW IS SO CLEVER. Hope you enjoy!

what gets me is that they even manage to get "been dead for 10 000 years, cant even talk properly" caveman robin an "ouw my heart" moment with the moon thing
Those are tears in my eyes. The parallels of love got to me - Cap and Havers especially. They deserved better. I've written a long list of happy headcannons for an AU where Havers doesn't leave and they are happily together. I need to convince myself they had a happy ending: I'm personally theorising (along with some other fans I've heard of) that Cap will move on into the afterlife and they'll reunite and be happy forever after as they deserve. If anyone wants the headcannons, I'll find a way to share them. Might put them on Twitter or Tumblr - for the moment they're on the new Ghiscord

@@emmyjo720 Me too :( It's awful what happened there. In line with the canon plot, I headcannon that they will reunite in the afterlife once Cap moves on (or is "sucked off" as Mary so eloquently puts it!). At least there will be no more goodbyes in the eternal afterlife. Maybe they can get married :')

That letter that the captain had was secretly a love letter.

This is so so so amazing, all the scenes where cut together so well. t's such a funny show that when you focus on the sad realities of their deaths it hurts SO much!! Definitely a favourite edit and it makes me so eager to learn about all the ghosts stories

I want to know about Kitty. Is she treated like the family "pet"? Was her mother a slave? Was her half-sister mean? Is Kitty hidden under that statue?
Perhaps like captain she had a heart attack as there are no physical signs of damage so maybe it’s on the inside
I think she had the mental age of a child and ended up starving because she was forgotten about by her sister when playing hide and seek
I know I’ve thought too far into it but still
I think Kitty was either an inlegitimate child to a gentleman with property in the West Indies, or was taken in by a family as a plaything for the daughter, or both. Yes, her sister was very mean. And I think she either killed herself out of desperation (2.2 showed how upset she can get), or the sister poisened her, maybe just to see her vomit at the dinnertable and disgrace herself.
In the episode that she said the statue was her best friend I think she was abused as a child so she made friends with a statue in order to cope with being abused.I also think that her sister/sisters didn’t care about her so she was left outside to starve in the cold.
Judging by the vomit in the Wedding episode, it's a safe bet to assume she was poisoned, perhaps by her sister
THE CAPTAIN AND THOMAS' STORIES MAKE ME SO SAD H E L P
"I shall miss you Havers" is the closest that the Cap got to saying "I love you, Havers" and that hurts me. He lived in such a homophobic time. Men (And women) were jailed for just being themselves. In worst case scenarios they were killed. So I'm going to live my best life for Cap and Havers I think. I know they were fictional but Im going to live and love so deeply and fully so that those who were denied the chance know they're not forgotten
This hit me hard. If you didn't watch the series you wouldn't get it. I don't usually cry but this made me tear up quickly.
I found this video yesterday and I've already lost count of how many times I've watched it :'( the only thing missing for me was Humphrey's little speech in the last episode about being able to choose who you marry idk that just hit different for me
Yeah I agree - I actually recorded that part to put in but massively underestimated how much content there was and ran out of time!

This is really good. It would have been nice if you'd got in Humphrey's speech to Lady Button about his wife in the Wedding episode. Its IMO one of the most beautiful and saddest scenes of the show.

Heather button had no children so Alison was linked to fanny though a child of Heather biological siblings? Is it possibly that Alison direct descendants from Thomas cousin?
i think lady button descends from Thomas cousin
Alison described Heather as a step- great aunt meaning one of Alison’s grandparents could have married into the Button family, maybe as a second marriage to one of Heathers siblings as Heather had no children and seemingly never married. And since the house went straight to Alison it seems her parent who married into the Button family is dead as they would have inherited first.
Also Fanny married George Button, thus married into the family so is associated by marriage rather than biologically, which is the same with Thomas.
@@emaloney2211 lady button says that thomas cousin was his Husbands grandfather or her grandfather in the episode of thomas death, i think..not sure though
@@Nyrella I meant that Thomas is related to George Button ( third cousin) not biologically to Fanny as she married into the family, but given that we don’t know Fanny’s maiden name, she could also be a cousin as cousin marriages were still common then. We don’t know exactly how Alison is related to the Buttons because a step great aunt is a little inconspicuous, this was just my theory. I asked this question on the Ghosts FB page.
