Now you've done it. I just made another impulse buy. Looking forward to trying it out on the 10, 12 and 15-meter bands. I was going to go with the QT60 but I liked the VFO function on this radio. I ordered the Anytone version on Amazon. I have my general but always seem to end up on the 11-meter band. Thanks for a very informative video. Keep them coming!
Oh MAN! And I thought I loved my QT60. Im gonna be a good guy the rest of the year so Santa might bring me a new QT80. Thanks for review. You the man. As if I couldnt hear your clear here in S IN. Youll be blowing my speakers out now. 153 IN.
I bought a QT60 about a year ago. I like everything about it except that horrible orange display. I bought it specifically for 11 meters, and converted it. It's nice and clean on 11 meters AM/SSB. Then this comes along. I'm not going to wait for Santa, I'm just going to buy it. $299 on Amazon. If it works out I'll probably sell the QT60.

Hi John. I was just thinking that with the recent introduction of FM to the radios in America and for us UK CB'rs, that you could introduce FM power tests to your reviews. It's an important feature. What do you think? Also, the RCI Ranger 2950 beep is the smallest and shortest beep known to mankind!
Just getting into ham, ready to take my Tech test. What is the story on the 3 digit numerical callsigns you guys are using? Trying to learn all I can. I see that you're on CB. Played a bit with that way back in the 80's... but I don't remember the numerical call signs back then.
Nice radio. I have the QT 60 and love it. I see they have a QT 60 PRO now. On that QT 80 does your power supply have a amp meter ? or have you measured the current on that radio? so how i can't find the current draw on the website.

I'm currently using in any tone quad 5n1 the 30 watt model. Which I have peaked at 50 Watts on SSB and 30 on am. I really do want to get one of these radios but I may have to part with some things first to get it. I have a easy ftdx 1200 and if I can sell that then maybe I can get two of these radios. But more likely one of these radios and a nice 200 to 500 watt amp. Thanks to the videos enjoy everything that you do 73. From 324 Western Pennsylvania.

How much this radio cost, honestly, I don't like Chinese stuff, but I will try this one about see how it goes, watching from Jamaica west Indies !!.
How does this radio do as far as temperature? Have good audio?
If it had 20m band it would be a winner
If it had wheels you could ride it 😁
If it was an all band all mode radio
it would cost the earth too haha.
