Autumn at Oz 2024 tickets on go on sale in June. The event will sell out! Visit landofoznc.com/ for details.
been going here the last few years and I went in 2023 as well. The witch and Dorthy weren't all that good. I stuck around to pick out a witch and a Dorthy to follow since I knew they were rotating several throughout the day. this is an incredible place and I cant wait to release all my footage on it next month. It's a lot of work trying to fix up the audio as it wasn't very good in person and came out worse in the video. thanks for sharing this its great to see some of the different actors you may have missed.
Oh wow - I’ve only been twice, but all of the actors and actresses have been really good. Glad you liked my vid! Y’all have some really cool videos too! Subscribed! 😁
@@ParkRovers thanks. I’ve been watching yours too so I can see all the cool places I should go.
Love even now they have the Wicked Witch doing WICKED references in her adlibbing!! #TeamElphaba
I loved that. The Land of Oz cast is so good!
wha did danial do?
I've never heard of this place. Would be cool to see
Definitely recommend a day at Oz! You do need to plan a trip far in advance, since tickets sell out.
im going this year and im exited to go
It’s so much fun! If you can, I recommend arriving early so you can maximize your time in Kansas/Oz. It’ll take most of your day if you want to meet all of the characters, and see every show.
I haven’t been since the 70s. I’m hoping to go this year.
Wow! I think you'll love it. I'd love to know what you think. I'm guessing that today it's a little more of a fan convention, and a bit less of a theme park. I think they do an excellent job.
@@ParkRoversit's looks great and good I just love it so much it's looks really 30th birthday years before that's in past it's 2024 to bad I just hoping coming back again this year contact
@@derekllewellyn6663 2024 tickets go on sale soon. It will sell out! landofoznc.com/ for details.
This looks so cool!
It’s definitely worth a visit if you can snag a ticket!
Very good presentation of this park I wish that I could have gone to it but you just at times can't find a way around the tornados in everyday life😢🎉❤ .
Thanks for watching and I’m sorry to hear that 😕.
I hope you can visit in the future. Until then, I’ll do my best to cover the event every year 😁
I remember both movies and the second movie Return to oz isn't the sequel to The Wizard of Oz but that's okay. As a matter of fact, that movie is a little scary and it's on Disney plus.
Return to Oz always scared me as a kid!
I’m planing on doing this next year this always been on my bucket list
Amazing! I recommend buying tickets when they go on sale (it does sell out!), and going for an early time slot (e.g., 9-10 AM) for park entry. -Andrew
@@ParkRovers thanks for the tip ! I’m going to put this to use
I just realized u was dress like the scarecrow lol great cosplay!
I’m so confused bc it says that land of oz in beech mountain is closed ? Like it shut down in the 1990s.
It’s a bit confusing! The park originally operated from 1970-1980. It was eventually restored and reopened for events starting in 1991. The Autumn at Oz Festival started in 1993, and that’s currently the only way to visit the theme park.
So is the park licensing the MGM oz? I was kinda hoping it was based solely on the public domain Oz books
However I have to say the natural fog really adds to the ambience
Good question - I'm not sure! The park is certainly heavily inspired by the 1939 MGM film (currently owned by Warner Bros. I believe), but the Autumn at Oz Festival is a celebration of all-things-Oz.
I agree about the fog! At first, I was bummed I visited on a rainy day, but I think it worked out 😁
So did they restore this?
It's partially restored. The park has been reopening for events since the mid 90s.
I was actually there when you made this video I was blogging too. 10:35 see me with the Lion 🦁 and 20:29 you can see me in my witch hat, green gloves, and my wicked witch hoodie on the far left with the Wicked Witch 🖤💚🖤💚🧹🔮.
That's awesome! I subscribed to your channel 😁
@@ParkRovers aw thank you was my first time visiting. I was so happy I got to visit for the first time I had such a blast despite the rain I had such fun.
@@ParkRovers I subscribe to your channel too
@@lesleyfrolloandhooklover6615 That's awesome! Honestly, the only difference is that I think it feels more like a festival when the vendors don't need to cover their merchandise/memorabilia. Otherwise, I think the day was perfect since the lines to meet the characters were shorter 😊
