- We were lucky to get back to Beech Mountain, NC for the final 2022 weekend of "Autumn At Oz" at the historical theme park (not abandoned), Land Of Oz. This is the full Autumn at Oz experience, complete with chair lift, new observation tower, shows and skits and character interactions. This was an incredible experience!

I think this is owned by Turner Classic, which is distributed by Warner Bros, so in all honesty, I’m surprised that this (at least to my knowledge anyway) was never a thing in any of the Six Flags parks
@@BAKER22-l4u Yes, every American kid does grow up on The Wizard of Oz, so sit down be quiet and do not speak unless you're spoken to do you understand? As a military man, that's an order. The Wizard of Oz is required viewing in the United States and a rite of passage.

The event tends to sell out each day and the capacity seems to grow each year. The mini shows were great!

Loved going here with my family in the early 70s! Tons of wonderful memories.. somewhere my dad has 8mm silent footage of our trip. I still have a bag from the gift shop and the map. So glad it’s up and running again! Thank you for sharing your video.
The acting and singing is surprisingly good! I was expecting it to be a tacky low budget thing.
Looks fun. Just wish we could see the witch melt, that would complete the experience.
I been thinking a lot about my parents and with this video it made me remember what my father did for a grandkid. My niece love the movie so she always would ask my dad to play it for her. I don't know how many thousand of time he sat there with her and would watch it.

I'm showing my age, but I remember when Bob Keeshan (Cpt Kangaroo) had an episode featuring this new park complete with the balloon gondola lifts in motion. We just left the House of Mouse this morning after a couple of weeks there and hope everything storm related turns out ok for y'all. We passed hundreds of utility trucks rolling south down I75 today.
