I totally agree with your message, except I would gently remind everyone that God doesn’t keep score when it comes to our works, since we’re not saved by them in the first place. Seventh-day Adventists believe in Investigative Judgment, in which God basically keeps score in order to determine if we’re good enough to get into heaven. I know that you’re not referring to salvation when you said that, but some people might take it that way. Other than that, that was an excellent explanation of that passage of Scripture.😊
I dont agree with u, God didnt made us to be robot, once saved after that everything is done? there is plenty of Jesus message that he will count whatever we did in this earth, r u saying that because we only saved by faith M WE DONT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING BECAUSE THAT DOESNT MEAN ANYTHING?
honestly it kinda makes me tear up a little by reminding me of every time I did went above and beyond and no one noticed or bothered and when I was at my worst and everyone noticed. At most from my previous boss you'd receive a pat on the back or an "encore" which is saying "I went above and beyond" no rewards for doing better or anything.
As much as that could hurt sometimes, it’s so much better to receive an eternal reward, than a temporary one. Our heavenly Father sees everything we do, and nothing gets by Him.
The whole scripture says do not lay up treasures o. Earth where moth and rust destroy but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven. The problem today especially in America is people focus on the wealth and prosperity of this world, instead of focusing on what God says. Vacations, ball games, big house, nice cars, boats, etc to the point people are working and putting all their time into the things of this world instead of having less and focusing on doing the will of the Father. The people who argue this point will be the ones who focus all their time, energy and money on the things of this wolrd

That is the part contextually, that shows that by serving eathly masters, in a way that glorify God, and not blasphems the doctrine of our Lord, there is a reward for that. You sounded as centering your message around doing service to the church or around the body alone. Please next time kindly expound on the benefits that comes by shining real bright as the light of the world, not only in Christian cycle, but also in the world as general.
I was taught that treasures in Heaven were the souls that we minister to and lead to Jesus Christ (although it is Holy Spirit who draws them). Would you please respond to this understanding?

I would have to say that any work done for the kingdom of God, and His glory, is the work of the Lord. Primarily, that would be advancing the Gospel with the gifts that He has given you, whether it be through menial labor, art, music, serving others, teaching, and a host of other talents that we have been given. It boils down to simply sharing the Good News with those around you with a cheerful heart, regardless of your abilities.
How can any man proclaim they know the truth from God, when they don't know the truth of the first verse from the bible? Read the first verse ! See the power and authority displayed in the first verse of the bible! ...no human or generation was their when God created heaven and earth! Yet how many claim to know the truth of who God is? They seek to help you to gain favor with God? Truth is that is ok, but without true love? Do they really love God and love you? Or do they just want treasures? The true treasure is to love God. And to be loved by God! How do you get that treasure? Repent to God! And ask God to protect and guide you to his truth! Amen!
Just read the BIBLE... no other truth and you will see and listen others life testimony so we can empower pur faith love and hope... its a matter of knowing and understading and God fearing so we can have a wisdom... because if afraid hell the eternal punishement then you will seek truth, then you seek kingdom of God by your own sake the Gospel of God is gone into all...... the world before its too us for us.... one of the prophecy now is the time that is call perelious time is here now.... read bible with your seeking heart justice and truth.
Treasure in heaven !? Repent of sins! Ask God to forgive you of sins of your ancestors and you self since birth! Repent with urgency! Ask G-D to cleanse you! Then ask God after you are cleanse , when G-D knows you are cleanse , to now fill you with his truth and holy commandments! Ask God to fill your heart and mind with truth and strength to live according to his laws and truth! Amen! ( all those who call upon the Lord will be saved! Revelation 22:21) read Genesis 1:1 & Revelation 22:21...remember God knows the truth!

Romans 10:9-10 tells us, “That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made into salvation.”

That verse he quoted at the beginning said whatever you do, and seeking a wordly reward was what he said. I had to watch it twice to get that 2.
